Strange how the people we elect to “Represent” us think they don’t need to do that after they get in.
How in the world do they get re-elected? And re-re-elected?

because people continue to listen to sound bites rather than actually do some research into voting records and affiliations for the candidate they are voting for…dear leader told us what he was going to do in plain language and the people were so under his spell they didn’t hear a word….now where are we??
The first line should have began:

A bit off topic but this link is a good example of how companies can fight the thuggery from the various unions – move your plant to another state.
As Karl Rove points out, these efforts are all designed to reassure ongressman that if they vote for Obamacare their seats will still be there for them next election.
If they buy that line they do so at their own peril.
The term, “useful idiots” comes to mind.
The email to Obama/union supporters (“Let’s keep turning people out for these!”) came from Pelz’s office, not the congressman’s. Rep. Inslee’s office sent out only a PSA to the state party’s head, which in fairness any congressional office would have done. Pelz is head of the Democrat party in Washington state.
Anyway, the notion that Obamacare supporters are not plants is dead.
Right, but good luck hearing that shouted from the MSM rooftops.
It doesn’t fit the narrative.
Perhaps MSNBC will feature this email in a Contessa Brewer panel segment about how evil, racist and “organized” Obamacare protesters are.
iamsaved , that’s not far off topic, it is about how unions want it all and to hell with the brains that make companies grow and provided jobs for these ingrate union workers.
Wonder if these union demands are worth it when the union individual is in the unemployment line and on food stamps…gotta take pride in pissin’ your job and life away, you know “the union way” These union dregs that could care less about you and your family.

Answer, over the past 70 plus years the American people have been spoiled, the good life, so to speak, no need to listen and judge for yourselves, no need to learn more about your representatives. Well, that time is over and we are paying a heavy price for it. our rep.’s know what’s best for us, BULL$HIT,Now more than ever we need to be involved and paying attention to what these cretins say and do behind closed doors..

No surprise here in WA State. If you recall Congressman Brian Baird referred to those who protest against Obamacare as Brown Shirts and made references to Timothy Mcveigh.
About a week later at his first Town Hall meeting (he had originaly not planned on holding any, but due to public outcry he changed his mind) he said that he “had taken the words back” and “apologized” for them.
It did not last long as he reiterated the comments at a rotary club meeting a day or two latter.
I took particular interest in the last line of the article: “This email was leaked by a high-ranking member of the State Democratic Central Committee. It’s authenticity has been confirmed by multiple sources.”
I wonder how many people there are working within the Obama administration or with Democrat representatives who want to blow the whistle on all the corruption they see but can’t.
As I posted way back when, it would be interesting to see what response you would get if you set up a website, similar to Obama’s flag/snitch site and posted the following:
“There is a lot of disinformation about concerned American citizens out there, spanning their opposition to Obama Administration’s Chicago-style corruption to their dismay over his distruction of the economy and damage to national security. This disinformation travels via the main stream media, through left-wing radical blogs, and staged Obama town hall meetings. Since we can’t keep track of all of it, we are asking for help from anyone who works with or for the Obama administration or Democrats in Congress. If you hear or see anything fishy that may be corruption or not be in the best interest of the American people, send it to [website name/email address here]. Your name will not be used; we only want the information to counter all the left-wing disinformation by responding with the truth.”
First, it would make a point, and second, you might just get hard core proof to what you know to be the truth but have no smoking gun.

anyone with any sense at all knows by now that these tea party / town hall protests are for real and represent the VOTING middle class. these people have been screaming at their t.v.s for years, and now are so p.o.ed that they are going to their congresscritters office and are screaming at them. if the ideological idiots like shumer don’t get the message, they will lose the voting middle.

Astroturfing, indeed. We all know it when we see it, but the MSM will undoubtedly shut their eyes.
I become more convinced every day that we are going to have to bottom out and start over before people get the message that elections count. More importantly, electing a lukewarm anything is not better than seeking out someone who’s convictions are solid and they do, in fact, swear to uphold the constitution, protect it’s citizens, and mean it.
People do not relish standing in 100 degree weather to protest their government. More have never carried a sign before. But, they are serious and the number is growing by the day.
This country has a little over 3 years to go before it sinks to the bottom!!!!
We’re almost there, I think. As in the past, we have fended them off, but they keep coming back with their BS. They are relentless; this is a fight to the death, so to speak.
