I must have a bad printing of the US Constitution. I do not see anything in there about how the federal government may run private businesses, or control compensation, or revise contracts that were legal at the time of their signing or are still legal, or own a car company in competition with private companies, or take over control of the medical system, or run a mandatory retirement scheme for other than its employees.

Actually, I have reviewed several different printings of the Constitution. Could I have gotten the abridged edition?

How about federal pension reform? We could save a wad there.

They (Congress and Senate) shouldn’t have any pension at all. Those pieces of cr@p should live in public housing (with communal showers to get Barney on board); have a Luby’s style cafeteria to eat at and be reimbursed for cab fare and coach to their home district (throwing them a bone there); and make the median salary of the country (I had a tough time on figuring out that one and still don’t know if they should make that much). Politicians are supposed to be SERVANTS, not MASTERS.

As far as staffs go, they need someone to answer the phone. That is all. That way they know what the he!! they are voting on if they have to write the damn bill.

I know alot won’t get done. THANK GOD!

Already on the House floor, a bill that will make college loans a Federal program, loaning money from the Treasury to college students. Can’t wait to see who gets to walk away from those debts, or who gets loans at cents on the dollar.

Boy, how much do I agree with this... How about term limits for Congress as a starter, hummm? How about legislation that expels members of Congress, and the Senate when they violate the laws they enact, and imprisons them when they violate the Constitution? How about federal pension reform? We could save a wad there. How about lobbyist reform? How about lawmaker expense reform? Treat them like businessmen...save receipts, fly commercial, prove all expenses claimed on tax forms are allowable business expenses...under penalty of perjury? The last thing our representative need to do is spend more money...the people's money.
