    I don’t think anyone is presuming that the Repub party is the savior of Medicare since both parties have propped up this entitlement since the 60′s. Someone used to say that Fabian Socialism could apply to our country and I used to disagree with him. I would say that if a government program such as Medicare is so fraught with fraud, waste, and abuse, and a universalized version will be no exception why duplicate? Why not just kill every socialist entitlement program dead and start over on an even playing field? It’s not like my generation of 30 somethings will even get the chance to participate in programs like social security or medicare that our paychecks funded.

What will happen when that giant thump you hear is a couple more banks going belly up (like Colonial just did) because they made unwise real estate loans? We haven’t heard what’s in store for the commercial real estate market and if the job market doesn’t come back, how healthy will the residential real estate market be?

    It doesn’t seem like it now but you’re better off.

    This person doesn’t even know what ‘health care reform’ means. They only care that it’s the ‘us’ vs. the thems’. They consider other Americans to be enemies.

    It is so sad that Obama has fostered this environment. Obama has declared America to be a terrible nation. Obama has declared other AMERICANS as people who are enemies. Obama has declared our enemies as our friends.

    This is just the first 6 months. I don’t see Obama getting a pass on this crap past a year. Obama specifically needs to condemn this crap. This crap doesn’t support him, this crap destroys America.
