Do you have proof that Obummer isn’t? You’ve yet to factually refute any of what Beck has already dug up on Dear Leader.

You enjoy hearing this, like you enjoy watching professional wrestling. But both of them are fake. You shouldn’t take either one seriously. Professional wrestling is not on sports shows. Beck should not be on the news.

You, like many professors I’ve become acquainted with over the years and had as family friends, look down on the rest of society. Even prescribe generalizations that fit your perception. The hard truth I took away from many personal/academic relationships I’ve had with professors is the following:

You only see reality through your own point of view. You are like the former Minister of Propaganda for Iraq saying that our US military had been defeated when the carefully constructed world that Saddam Hussein constructed was imploding around him.

You sadden me, and your willful blindess should be a limitation on your power over impressionable young students. If you want to limit who and what can be hired on a given network, schools should very carefully screen who is allowed such close contact with their students.

Here’s another thought, lgm: public schools screen for undersireables already with background checks and fingerprints. Perhaps, universities and colleges should do the same.

You’re so full of contempt and hate for the feelings and opinions of others it’s not funny. It’s just sad. You can’t see beyond it and I’m surprised you can do an effective job as any kind of educational professional. I had tons of hate heaped on me while I taught at a public school when Bush won in 2004. Just because I didn’t share these other teachers’ beliefs.

Think carefully, lgm. Really really think. I can have perfectly reasonable conversations with Chaps and find I can learn new things through that exchange but the kind of exchange and opinions you often share on this blog are counterproductive and unhelpful.

You may be in the field of academia, but you, and your fellow ivory tower academics, do not control the market place of ideas. This is the reason we have the first ammendment, an inconvenient truth for you.
