For a brief time this year, I too started believing in global warming. Then, Summer abruptly came to an end and I had to put on a jacket. And, it is still August.

So the title of Mssr Karpinski’s little piece of fear mongering and finger wagging enviro evangelism could be entitled “Private citizens pose biggest risk to the planet and our beloved elected officials”. Palin, Gingrich and Limbaugh afterall are all private citizens now.
Big Oil, Big Insurance, Big Pharma, Big Boys, you can make anything evil I guess by referring to them as Big (or should that be in all caps, BIG?), except for the Big 3 which seems to hold a warm spot in the hearts of liberals.
No word on how they feel about the Big 10.
From a donkey perspective, that’s the beauty of it: When lefties hear him say he’s for traditional marriage or a strong national defense, they vote for him anyway because they know he’s lying; and when non-lefties hear him threaten to bankrupt the energy industry or to socialize the economy, they vote for him anyway because they assume he doesn’t mean it.
In short, a lot of folks voted for this guy not because they necessarily believed him, but rather because they hoped that he was lying when it came to their particular sacred cows.
It worked in 2008. We’ll see if he can go back to that particular well again ad 2012.

The environmentalists are destroying this country.
The environmentalists demanded the extinction of competitive steel industry in the USA. They succeeded in convincing people that it was better to have no city at all than to live with a little dirt. Industries that depended on steel are no longer competitive and are gone. New industries now plan out how to build products ANYWHERE in the world that the environmentalists cannot reach.
Look at the industrial cities to see the result of useless environmental policies. Cities have died and the environmentalists are happy to see those cities in ruins, and the remaining people living in poverty.
Today, the environmentalists have gained the upper hand in ending farming in the central valley of california. They prefer starvation to allowing the travesty of continuing to farm land that was once desert.
The environmentalists, while prefessing to be ‘only for the good of all’, are in fact only interested in their own belief of HOW people should be ALLOWED to live.
And no, the environmental zealots will never cease trying steal property.

Thank gaud (catch that spelling lgm?), people have finally wised up to this Global Warming, save the planet nonsense. I have been complaining about it as non-science for a few years (at least 30). The GOP had a true believer as a candidate for it no less, taking the whole debate off the plate.
Just like healthcare reform, attempts to kill off what’s left of our energy markets under the guise of global warming is an equal opportunity offender. It matters not whether you’re white, black, or various shades of brown – nor does it consider whether you are rich, middle class, or dirt poor. To keep your home warm in the winter/cool in the summer, feed your family, pay for fuel to go to work or school, or use modern appliances that enhances your life (hint: blow dryers with 3500 watts)…you are going to pay until it hurts, or you simply decide you can no longer afford it.
We are staring down the barrel of a global financial meltdown, starting with the U.S.. If we can’t afford to heat our homes, we sure don’t need the goodies produced in China, Bangladesh, Vietnam, or Mexico.
Ever get the feeling these people lie for the sake of lying? They do not seem to care about the issue-they just lie.

Nowhere can I find the FULL transcript of Charlie Gibson’s interview with Sarah Palin regarding global warming. I’ve found stuff labeled “full excerpts” and totally snipped/clipped stuff on Youtube, (some is so lame and obvious like ABC news ‘fact check’ on Sarah’s AGW remarks that it would make Pravda blush)
Newsbusters did a great analysis of how ABC smeared her by editting the part of the interview concerning Russia but I can’t find anything on the climate part of the interview? (The link to Mark Levin’s show website is 404 and all references to it in his site search appear to be scrubbed???)
As I recall, her actual full response was very good, something like – there MAY be a human factor that affects the climate but we don’t know whether our affect is 90% or 10%. But now all I can find is edited garbage.

The FACT is that the earth’s average CO2 concentration over 100’s of MILLIONS of years is MUCH higher than it is now.
That explains WHY plants in commerical greenhouses do so much better at 1000 or 1200 PPM than how they do in outside air at only ~400 PPM – THEY EXSITED FOR A LONG TIME AT MUCH HIGHER LEVELS.
Just doubling CO2 over what it is now produces amazing results in plant growth and health.
Liberals CANNOT escape this simple truth – plants in today’s climate are CO2 IMPOVERISHED.
So what the liberals call ‘green’ is an attack on plant life! To them ‘green’ means starving plants; denying them the CO2 their genetics want more of.
It cannot get any clearer than this – this liberal LIE about ‘green’ relating to CO2 has to be exposed for what it actually means to plant life- those green things.
I think if green house gases trap the earths’ heat they also would reflect the suns’ rays. Therefore I declare GLOBAL COOLING EMERGENCY! Every body send me ten bucks and save the earth for your kids and grandkids.
Whether plants are eaten by cows, burned, or simply die and decay, they release carbon back into the environment. Plants absorb carbon while growing and release it when decaying. Cows speed up the process a bit but the net result is the same whether the plants are digested or decayed. It’s part of the cycle of life. You might be able to slow down the process but you can’t stop it.
The sun grows the grass, the cow eats the grass, I eat the cow – I’M SOLAR POWERED!
(and so is every coal fired power plant in the world…)
