Shhhh: Gmail is down, but don’t tell the White House
Gmail has been down for at least an hour.
But don’t complain too loudly about it.
You know how Rahm Emanuel likes to exploit a crisis…and the last thing we need is another Email Czar.

They could appoint “rubiks80″ or whatever his name was, the Sarah Palin Email Hacker Nerd son’o'Democrat kidnerdkid.
I recommend panic.
I heard they were doing a test run for the soon to be Office of the National Cybersecurity Advisor and the Internet
CzarMonkey pushed the wrong button. Finally ! Someone determines that now is the time to panic!
Thanks, Sonofdy!
Wasn’t that a movie line?
I’m intrigued by this, how you say, eeemail. /strongbad
Since I refuse to use ANYTHING associated with google, not a problem for me.
Then again, I pay my mortgage, so the mortgage crises shouldn’t be a problem for me either, but it seems to be a factor in determining my continued employment. So maybe this google thing is important.
I use an e-mail client to access my Gmail, and it just dumped a bunch of messages in my in-box; my in-house IT guy says its probably just the web interface that’s broken.
Note: I typed the above several minutes ago, hit Preview, and got the blue screen
Not saying it’s connected, but it was rather funny (as in funny odd, not funny ha-ha). Maybe sonofdy is right….
You mean that there’s one already?
I think some obamabots just got electrocuted somewhere.
Hope it leaves a mark.
Was there a chain email that spoke badly of China? I can imagine that would be enough for Google to shut down GMail.
Panic is good. I’m in.
Running arround with your hair on fire and screaming like a demented banshee is optional at this point, but panic is acceptable.
Uh oh, cyber-emergency…BO pulls the internet plug. He didn’t want to but he just had to…you know like GM.
Whos fault is this? Al Gores? Didn’t he invent the darn thing?
It’s back up. Thank God!
The White House already knows Gmail went down because of Global Warming.
Thank Gore!
not only did gore invent the internet, but he’s big in google which may be why gmail went down. testing for the coming CRISIS.
There was a time right around 5 oclock that the site was very congested…. seems to work now.
I guess gobs of citizens are trying to tell bho and team, WE B upset!

This should be good for another trillion dollar investment to fix our crumbling virtual infrastructure.

I’ve had a few problems with Google based stuff recently.
