Video: Rep. Pete Stark tells interviewer, “Get the f**k out of here or I’ll throw you out the window”
Longtime readers of this blog are well aware of California Democrat Rep. Pete Stark (Raving Mad)’s unhingedness.
He has called a Republican opponent a “c**ksucker”, left a profanity-laced message on a constituent’s voicemail, and suggested on the floor of the House that Republicans are sending men and women to Iraq “to get their heads blown off for the president’s amusement.”
He’s an unrepentant basket case — and everything that’s wrong with Washington.
Here’s fresh proof from an independent TV documentarian Jan Helfeld, whose Socratic interviewing techniques cause Stark to engage in another trademark tirade. Helfeld asks Stark about the national debt and the economy. Stark tells him repeatedly to “shut up,” sneers at Helfeld’s lack of an advanced economic degree, and ends the interview by bolting from his chair and telling Helfeld to “Get the f**k out of here or I’ll throw you out the window:”

What an obnoxious, self rightous, pompous, obstinate, (Too many words to add) A$$
What a crass, filthy, excuse for a human being, let alone a Congressman. The fact that this kind of scum can keep getting re-elected to Congress speaks worse about the state of our nation than anything else I can imagine.
And this ladies and gentlemen, is the poster-child for our elected federal officials, the majority of which infest the highest offices in our country. All the clips I have seen are Socialist/Marxist/Democrats. I have not seen a Conservative go “off the reservation”. Anyone who knows of a recent clip, please let me know. Just trying to confirm that this is a left-wing sickness that we have to cure over the next few years….
In the mid-1990s, a group of moronic “economists” said that countries would be better off accumulating debt. A co-worker and I used to have pretty good discussions about conservative vs. liberal. I explained we needed to balance the gov’t budget. He countered with the “study” mentioned above.
It’s interesting that even liberals balance their personal budget but somehow give the gov’t a pass. Intelligent people balance their own budget and demand the same from their gov’t.
Now, Stark “Raving Mad” has given us proof of the complete stupidity of socialsts.

Wow. I finally understand why we are in such debt. Thinking like that is unbelieveable. The gov’t can spend $ more wisely than private enterprise? The more debt we take on the more wealthier we become? National finance are totally differnt than an individual’s finances (only in that a gov’t can inflate away their debt)? Like all modern Democrats, Stark thinks the strategy for stimulating the economy out of a conventional slowdown must be a good long term strategy, too. And like all modern Democrats, he thinks the way to stimulate the economy is by increasing the size of government rather than cutting taxes.

I hope Americans are finally realizing that any form or representative government died the day Bill Clinton took office. Stark is the rule, not the exception in our Congress today. Since they will not impose term limits on themselves, we will have to use the vote to do it for them. How despicable can dems get….first name calling, now physical threats. Actually he is semi correct. Some debt is good it helps strengthen your borrowing and spending power. But, the debt this country has now is unstastainable and out of control so his arguement is moot to try and get uppity that our current debt is good!

I know a few people with advanced economics degrees. They mostly work in restaurants, and it isn’t on the financial end of the business. The rest are always pursuing yet more advanced degrees and bounce from one job to another, always looking for the big break that will lead to some cushy government or university job. Most are saddled with huge loans from years of studying. I don’t think any of them feel wealthy from that debt either.
I agree on your latter point and would like to amend that it’s about one’s demonstrated ability to pay debts that strengthens your borrowing/spending power, not the amount of that debt.
Trillion dollar deficits weaken that stance. Stark failed to adequately address that point. In fact, like most politicians, he readily endorsed borrowing even more money.
One thing I did not hear him say: “Reduce spending”.
I think we’re saying the same thing. Obviously if you have debt you have to demonstrate your ability to pay your debt. I worked for a company that had NO debt owned & operated in the black but, had limited spending power. So we put them into debt and borrowed to buy other radio stations. They now have a high borrowing and spending capability and are current with debt payoff.
It’s the same thought how credit cards work. No credit even thought you’re in the black you have limited spending and borrowing power. You have credit cards with limited debt and current in paying debt you have better spending & borrowing power with a great credit rating. Too high of debt you lose your cedit rating from owing too much (where we are as a nation now)
Don’t hold your breath. His district is in the S.F. Bay area, where the insanity of liberalism has rotted everyone’s brains.

I just called his DC office, spoke to someone named Analie (or something) and I told her about the video. She said “that video is 20-yrs old”. I had told her up-front that I was not a constituent of Rep. Stark. As the conversation went on she became more agitated. The last straw was when I asked if Rep. Stark still believes that the more debt we owe the wealthier we are.
She said, “Since you are not a constituent, he has no comment.”
I asked, “What if I were a reporter, would that change things?”
She said, then I would direct you to his press office.” I said fine.
Then she said, “Oh he’s out today, you’ll have to get the contact information off the internet. Good Day, Sir!” Then she hung up on me.
It’s so easy (and FUN) to get under their skin!
Somebody is going to cal out that smart mouthed ass one of these day then we’ll see how tough he is.
this is the same sort of thinking which convinces these morons on the left to turn their credit card purchases of pizza and underwear into a 30 year mortgage at only 5% per year.
The problem is that somthing like $4.2 Trillion of this debt is in bonds held by the Social Security Administration.
Now, the Soc Sec will need to call in these debts as the Boomers retire… and the house of cards falls.
Its also interesting to note, that the “current” ideas of the eggheads who are economists, have driven us to the point of this unsustainable economy, and economic collapse. While less educated people, with old style theories, built us into an Economic Super Power…

Now I remember where I last focused on Pete Stark! He was Rangel’s co-sponsor of a House Resolution to re-institute the draft.
As you recall, the republicans controlled congress back then. The existence of this bill in Congress was being used by liberal activists to scare college age voters into thinking Bush and republicans were trying to re-institute the draft hoping that most would not actually check the facts.
But republicans foiled their plan and brought it up for a vote, (somehow the lame libs had managed to get the bill tabled indefinitely or something like that?). When it went to a vote even coward Charlie Rangel, the bill’s author, voted against it. Only two people voted for it in the entire House – Jack Murtha and … PETE STARK.
I looked up the definition of ‘feces’ in the dictionary and there was a picture of Pete Stark.
It’s one thing for the public to think a congressman is stupid; it’s another when he proves he is by his own words. I’m so glad these clowns are recorded on tape.
So we all need to have Ph.D’s in oder for either this Congressman to explain his economic policies or to understand the concept that trillion dollar deficits are actually GOOD for this country and it’s economy and growth.

It depends on statute – which I was unable to find for DC. That said, Stark definitely made a threat which could be chargable. What the gentleman should have done is go directly the the DC police and filed a complaint. Hopefully he was taping the interview and has the threat on tape as well.

By the way, there’s no point in wasting the money to run against him. You’d have to place TV ads in the San Francisco media market, which is very expensive and covers probably eight or ten districts, so there’s huge waste in media spending. He has been routinely reelected in the past decade with 70+% of the vote. (Obama: 74.4%) Stark enjoys an overwhelmingly Democratic district in which Jesus himself could not win running as a Republican. Better to spend the money going after candidates in swing districts.
If someone wanted to do the blogosphere a favor, they would aggregate the on-line donation portals of the GOP candidates in about 75-90 ‘winnable’ districts and concentrate on them. Maybe even set up a PAC or some other entity which evenly divvies up single donations across that set of 75-90 districts.

It’s interesting to note that Stark asks if Helfeld has a degree or taken classes in economics, and belittles him for not having at least a Masters in the subject. However, freshmen level ECON 101 classes clearly teach how many of the items that Stark and the Dems hold dearly are harmful, including minimum wage, rent controls, price controls, etc. etc.
