The resignation (and coming MSM/left-wing martyrdom) of Van Jones; Obama “thanks him for his service”

Bay Area Marxist/Truther/Mumia-supporting race hustler-turned-environmental justice guru Van Jones has resigned from his post as Barack Obama’s green jobs czar.
In classic Team Obama style, Jones blames an orchestrated “campaign” of “lies and distortions to distract and divide.” Get ready for the coming media/left-wing martyrdom of Jones. Never mind his own apologies and weasel excuses for his radical views.
The mainstream media, which has ignored criticism and investigative analysis of Jones in the blogosphere/Internet since the spring (see, for example, here, here, here, here) repeats the lie that Fox News Channel’s Glenn Beck targeted Jones only after the czar’s organization, Color of Change, initiated a boycott against Beck at the beginning of August:
Fox News Channel host Glenn Beck repeatedly denounced Jones after a group the adviser co-founded, ColorofChange.org, led an advertising boycott against Beck’s show to protest his claim that Obama is a racist.
The Washington Post’s Howard Kurtz also disseminated that distortion. Newsbusters’ Noel Sheppard corrected the record last month for the clueless MSM. They persist in ignoring the truth:
Howard Kurtz on Sunday accused Fox News’s Glenn Beck of attacking White House “green czar” Van Jones in response to the advertiser boycott implemented by Color of Change, an advocacy group founded by Jones.
Such a conclusion seems to stem from all the time Beck spent on his program last week chronicling Jones’s activities as well as his background.
What Kurtz conveniently ignored in this installment of CNN’s “Reliable Sources” was that Beck did two reports on Jones prior to the start of Color of Change’s campaign to get companies to end their sponsorship of Beck.
Ironically, this came as Kurtz chided Beck for not sharing all the facts with his viewers…
…Well, here’s a little detail Kurtz neglected to mention: Beck discussed Van Jones’s radical background on July 23 –
Obama’s new green czar, Van Jones, this is a guy who is a self-avowed communist, and he is in the Obama administration. He says in his book that has been out now for about four months, “The Green Collar Economy,” subtitle: “How One Solution Can Fix Two Big Problems,” that the best way to fight global warming and urban poverty is by creating millions of green jobs.
This guy wasn’t a radical, and then was arrested. He spent six months in jail, came out a communist. Then he was a communist-anarchist radical. And then he decided — he found the eco-movement — and decided green is the new red. He then went on to become a green expert.
A percentage of these jobs, he says, should go to the disadvantaged and to the chronically unemployed. Well, why are they chronically unemployed? “The green economy should not just be about reclaiming thrown- away stuff. It should be about reclaiming thrown-away communities.”
And again on July 28:
BECK: All right. You know, what we’re uncovering here on this program is complex, and it is — it takes a lot of our day just to figure out how to explain it to you. And it’s complex by design. You know, it’s the vast left-wing conspiracy.
The Apollo Alliance combines environmental policy, the green movement, with labor and social justice. Why is that troubling? Maybe it’s the guy behind the curtain making it all happen. He’s a former black nationalist and self-professed communist.
Here is Phil Kerpen. He is the director of policy for Americans for Prosperity.
Phil, how are you, sir?
PHIL KERPEN, AMERICANS FOR PROSPERITY: I’m good, Glenn. How are you?
BECK: Good. Tell me about — tell me a little bit about Apollo and these — I have ACORN and the Black Farmers and the Sierra Club and Greenpeace and AFL-CIO and SEIU. Why are these thee categories — how are they tied to Apollo?
KERPEN: Well, the Apollo Alliance is designed to bring together the elements of organized labor with the community organizers with the green groups, the environmental groups, and to access all of the big foundation money that’s been supportive of those causes in the past. So, it’s kind of — Van Jones, who you mentioned, the self-described communist who is now green jobs czar, he described the Apollo Alliance mission as sort of a grand unified field theory for progressive left causes that ties all these things together.
Instead of compensating for their willful failure to cover Jones’s radicalism by informing their readers about the full story, Obama water-carriers are helping the administration with its own campaign of distortion.
The story is not just about Beck or Fox or us racist conservatives martyring Van Jones.
The story is not just about Jones.
The story is about Adolfo Carrion, Carol Browner, Vivek Kundra, Nancy DeParle, John Holdren, Cass Sunstein, Mark Lloyd, Obama’s education comrades, and the culture of circumvention and corruption that plagues this White House.
They don’t get it. They’re in the tank. Behind the curve. And slouching towards irrelevance.

Gotta love the lead paragraph of the NYTimes’ story on Jones today:
In a victory for Republicans and the Obama administration’s conservative critics, Van Jones resigned as the White House’s environmental jobs “czar” on Saturday.
Republicans in Washington were bringing up the rear. This was no victory for them.
Let’s rewrite that sentence:

The Times continues:
Appointed as a special adviser for “green jobs” by President Obama, Mr. Jones did not go through the traditional vetting process for administration officials who must be confirmed by the Senate. So it was not until recently that some of Mr. Jones’s past actions received broad airing, including his derogatory statements about Republicans in February and his signature on a 2004 letter suggesting that former President George W. Bush might have knowingly allowed the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks to occur in order to use them as a “pre-text to war.”
And we should add an important fact to that paragraph, too:

GEORGE: Does the president believe that he is the victim of a smear campaign or does the president think that Jones actions and words merit resignation?
GIBBS: “Well what Van Jones decided was that the agenda of this president was bigger than any one individual. The president thanks Van Jones for his service in the first eight months helping to coordinate renewable energy jobs and lay the foundation for our future economic problem…The president accepted his resignation, but Van Jones as he said in his statement he was going to get in the way of the President.”
GEORGE: So the president doesn’t endorse in any way the things that Van Jones said before but the president doesn’t want him to go?
GIBBS: He doesn’t but he thanks him for his service.”

Democrat Congresscritters going after Obama czars? You have a rich imagination.
Those guys would rather raise a beer to Van Jones than to Ronald Reagan. It’s not even close.
Just noticed two things: first, that Georgie-boy did his usual in trying to explain away another of Obama’s poor choices of supporting
actorsstaff, and secondly, that Gibberer answered a two part, either/or question with one answer: He doesn’t… Doesn’t what? [Doesn’t] endorse in any way the things that Van Jones said before or doesn’t want him to go?Did the Obama Administration ever answer thos questions raised and asked by Glenn Beck?
I’m sure they’ll get Robert Gibbs to smirk, ridicule the questions as “baseless” chatter, then attempt to belittle Mr. Beck and anyone who tunes him in…please, please, Bobby….do that…please! Show us with clarity, and in no uncertain terms, what the President of the United States (truly) thinks (if that’s possilbe) about the American voter.

Goals of the LIE Alliance-
Like a game of capture the flag, but in reverse.
The game is to hide the flag(truth)from people. An alternative truth flag “stand-in” (like a Saddam Hussein body double) shall be employed at all times.
To prevent any possibility of discovery of the real flag location the alternate flag will be displayed boldly, or it shall be reported that anyone looking for the flag is nuts, or the “wounded killdeer” technique will be used. In all cases the flag shall remain unseen, and when actually discovered it shall be named as a false copy manufactured to deceive the people by the other side.
Silliness of course, yet this is what we are left with for a media. They treat their role as watchdog of abusive governance as if it is a child’s game.
The internet and Fox news rightfully discredited Van Jones and forced him out without one single word about Jones’ radicalism from NYT, CNN, NBC, CBS, ABC, AP, etc.
Meanwhile, Obama’s HelathCare “plan” is tanking despite heroic efforts by the dead media to prop up the notion of socialized medicine.
These two points show me how powerful “we” have become. I thank Michelle and Glenn and the rest of those speaking power to truth for showing us what is behind the curtain. We are winning despite having the media against us.
This is a textbook example of why we cannot say the MSM is simply incompetent, but rather that its biases are fundamental and intentional. They know the facts, but refuse to report them. CNN completely obscured the radical left background of Jones in reporting the resignation and gave full credit to the “right-wing smear” allegation Jones threw at Fox and Glenn Beck. Remember, Beck came to Fox News from HNN, a subsidiary of CNN. They hate his guts. And why shouldn’t they? He’s been eating their lunch ever since his show started on Fox and started attracting huge numbers of viewers. I read about how people hate Glenn Beck, but I have not found anyone who can show me one example of where he was factually in error on any of these yahoos Obama has stuffed in his administration. This nonsense about quoting out of context is just so much weasel wording. Hey, since the advent of the small, portable video camera, its a lot harder to lie and get away with it. Just ask Hillary. Beck may be emotional, and he may at times be very pessimistic about the future, but I think many of us have shared those feelings in the past year. What more can I say in his favor? He supports the Second Amendment, actively.

On hearing this wonderful news this morning, were she present I would have removed my hat with a flourish and bowed deeply to Michelle (or offered a “terrorist fist bump,” her pick). She wasn’t alone in exposing this hateful specimen, but she was one of the few who rose to the challenge of breaking through the donkey media’s wall of silence.

That then needs to be followed by the implementation of Congressional term limits to begin putting an end to the influence peddling in DC …

Mac, I can only speak for myself, though I think that quite a few here are of the same mind; I don’t think that Obama’s czars and advisers are the problem. But they are part of it.
Of course you’re correct in pointing out that the Problem in chief is the One himself.
But shining the unrelenting spotlight of the truth on those people with whom he chooses to surround himself is a good thing.
Seeing them for who and what they are may help those who have, to this point, deluded themselves that Obama is worthy to be POTUS, finally recognize that he has already forsworn his oath to “…preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”

Actually I think it is great. The information about Jones is clear. Most of America does not go along with Mr. Jones. The more ABC sides with Mr. Jones against Mr. Beck, the more it hurts ABC and affirms what Mr. Beck and others have been saying about ABC.

It shouldn’t be a surprise that the New York Times would spike the story about Van Jones radical, fanatical background. The New York Times is the same newspaper that gave us Walter Duranty and his wonderful Soviet Union series. The New York Times is the same newspaper that spiked news of the holocaust. The publisher at the Times back then was one Arthur Ochs, who chose not to publish news of the holocaust and was stridently opposed to the creation of the State of Israel. Back in 1947 and 1948, The Times wrote numerous editorials against the creation of the State of Israel. In the late 1950s, The Times was a cheerleader for Fidel Castro and the Times had a reporter named Matthews (not Chris but similar in ideology) who referred to Castro as “Dr. Castro”. The New York Times also published details about the upcoming Bay of Pigs invasion just to make sure Castro could stop it. Then the NY Times Roger Cohen has been a cheerleader for Ahmedinejad and Khameini. So it should be no surprise that the New York Times would whitewash Van Jones. Jones is a conservative in comparison with the editorial department at the New York Times.
Until this administration comes out and speak the truth on how Van Jones got this close to advising the president and put in charge of 30 to 80 Billion dollars I am NOT going to believe another word Prompterbama says.

Keep in mind that the resignation of Van Jones doesn’t mean that the problem is solved. We have 31 more czars that are just as evil or worse infesting the White House.
Of course the real problem is Barry Soetoro (Barack Obama) the fraud who has illegally usurped the office of President. From Jeremiah Wright to Van Jones to Osama Bin Laden, to the other 31 czars: Obama is JUST LIKE THEM, only WORSE. He is our enemy. There was a time when allowing an avowed Communist even close to the position that this man held was grounds for treason. The fact that the President of the United States is the person to have appointed him, an avowed, unapologetic Communist amongst other arguably un-American things, not just to a position in his Administration, but to a position which garnered so much power and was answerable to none but the man who appointed him has got to list amongst the most corrupt, un-American acts performed, and in my mind, is beyond cause for impeachment.
Was there any doubt? I am pretty sure President Obama, Secretary Clinton and Attorney General Holder were as shocked about the release as they were the sunrise.

Instead, it is purely the tradition of racism and that alone which makes people speak out against him and his Marxist/Socialist/Liberal/Progressive/thuggish/race-baiting/hateful/hate-filled ways.

And now we have a “manufacturing czar”. The only possible thing a manufacturing czar could do that would be positive would be to tell the president and congress to get out of the way. My observation is that over my lifetime the president and congress (of either party) has demonstrated a “reverse midas touch” to anything they have worked on.

Here’s an example of what a jerk Van is and has always been. He attended a meeting conducted by the San Francisco Police Commissioner’s Office. Prior to the start of the meeting, he spoke up and said “let us bow our heads in a momemt of silence to remember the innocent people who were killed by the police.” True story.
