ACORN Watch: Welcome to Miami

Eleven arrest warrants issued. Once again, Democrats will deny it’s yet another manifestation of coordinated corruption. And once again, ACORN will spin it as evidence that they are rooting out fraud:

Eleven people hired to register potential voters in Miami-Dade County before last year’s presidential election were being sought Wednesday for falsifying hundreds of voter registration cards.

The Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office issued arrest warrants for each of the 11 suspects, all of whom worked for the local chapter of the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, (ACORN).

By early Wednesday morning, six were in custody, authorities said.

ACORN came under fire during last year’s presidential campaign when Republicans and other conservative groups accused the national organization of committing fraud in its aggressive voter registration efforts in various cities and counties nationwide, including Florida.

But ACORN officials said they had alerted authorities about the alleged illegal activity among some canvassers in Miami-Dade after finding “numerous discrepancies” on voter cards collected from the Homestead area.

The arrests are “further evidence we’ve been policing our own folks and report people attempting to commit voter registration fraud,” said ACORN spokesman Brian Kettenring. “This was really some individuals who were trying to defraud their employer.”

Tip of the criminal iceberg.

Meanwhile, ACORN is now managing apartment buildings:

Dignitaries assembled for a ribbon cutting on Thursday at 1825 Atlantic Ave. in Bedford-Stuyvesant for the newly completed Atlantic Avenue Apartments.

The Atlantic Avenue Apartments is a seven-story elevator building providing 150 units of housing. At least a dozen of those units will be reserved for adults with developmental disabilities. The creation of affordable housing in neighborhoods across New York City is part of the City’s Five Borough Economic Opportunity Plan to create jobs for New Yorkers and implement a vision for long-term economic growth.

…Atlantic Avenue Apartments was developed on vacant land, with a portion formerly owned by the City of New York and a portion owned by the developers. Dunn Development Corp. and New York ACORN Housing Company, Inc. have joined to co-sponsor the project, and ACORN will also serve as the property manager.

Repeat after me — loudly and often:

ACORN is a criminal enterprise.

For Democrats for whom the dead never stop voting, eleven warrants is just the price of doing business.

I think I’ve mentioned that our homeowner’s association had a presentation from a banker who told us how to get ACORN financing, and actually told us how to “hide a second income” in order to qualify for their program. I’m proud to say that not a single person in our community…nobody…took advantage of this shady deal.

Nothing less than a thorough criminal investigation of the entire ACORN enterprise in every state they operate is in order. Voter fraud is one of the big stories the MSM is completely remiss in failing to investigate and report.

The entire US Government is an ongoing criminal enterprise. We need that thing called Constitutional reform to cut the beast down to size. Anything less is a waste of time. It can be done especially if Congress and this President continue their Marxist deconstruction operations. The American people will come with clubs and pitchforks.

Oh NO!!! Now I have Michael Jackson singing in my mind. AAAARGH!!!!

happyscrapper: Did you see where Beck is going to be slauted and will be presented the keys to his hometown? A reporter and cameraman from Seattle (some 70 miles away) made certain to come to the town to cover a protest by some young Dimmocrats carrying signs such as “Change the Lock!”

However, the protestors were nearly outnumbered by the news team. Seems there were only three protestors, but the MSM was there to cover it for the evening news.

On the other hand, I imagine most of the MSM will be MIA this coming Saturday. Typical…

They are called red herrings and fall guys. How long can these vermin continue to blame this consistently illegal activity on their workers? They don’t get these ideas themselves.

As long as Obama, one of their former(?) mouthpieces is president, and Holder is AG, they will have carte blanche to do as they please.

You’re right on top of it. Once upon a time LGM linked an example of fraud (in his opinion) and it turned out being a South Florida “independant” that used to be a republican, but apparently never was very conservative, and it wasn’t in one of the contested districts anyway. That is the closest anyone has tried to come to a real answer whenever your question is asked of the left.

Regardless of the fact that fraud didn’t get Booooosh elected, the left will still say it did, thus justifying the antics of Obamacornheads.

This is doubtful since the DA was slobbering all over the local ACORN management for supposedly “discovering” the fraud and turning in their hired help.

When will ACORN run out of useful idiots? Their MO all over the country has been to encourage fraudulent activity, then throw some schmuck under the bus so management can escape responsibility.
