ACORN Watch: Big pimpin’

Andrew Breitbart’s new website, Big Government, has videotape of ACORN officials in Baltimore offering to help two people posing as a pimp and a prostitute, encouraging them to lie to the Internal Revenue Service in order to secure housing — and giving advice on how to claim underage girls from South America as dependents.
James O’Keefe conducted the undercover investigation and has the full transcript here.
Fox News adds:
A second ACORN employee can be heard on the audiotape suggesting that the couple join the organization for an annual cost of $120 prior to attending one of its first-time homebuyer seminars, which are underwritten with taxpayer funds.
Later, when the “pimp” asks what would happen if the organization is somehow connected to the scheme, the ACORN staffer replies, “First of all, it’s not gonna damage us because we not gonna know. And with your girls, you tell them, ‘Be careful.’ Train them to keep their mouth shut.”
“These girls are like 14, how can we trust them?” the pimp asks.
“Just be very, very careful,” the ACORN staffer says. “Whatever you do, always keep your eyes in the back of your head.”
Reached by FOX News, O’Keefe said he was “shocked” at the level of assistance provided by ACORN staffers.
“I was prepared for them to call the police, throw me out of the office and be hostile,” he said. “Without hesitation, they helped me every way they could with evading taxes and setting me up with a brothel, with getting around federal tax laws — doing everything they could to help us. I was completely shocked.”
Readers of this blog and Culture of Corruption are already familiar with the Baltimore ACORN office and its lying, law-breaking thugs.
Repeat after me: ACORN is a criminal enterprise.

I heard F&F talking about this during their 6 AM hour while I was getting ready to leave for work, and couldn’t believe the callous audacity of those ACORN workers. This is truly worthy of a federal investigation into ACORN, at all levels…it’s just unbelievable!
I saw on FOX this morning that ACORN wants to view the entire tape before making comment. They view it as entrapment reporting.
In other words, they did nothing wrong, and if they did, “it was some rogue workers violating ACORN policy”.
We’ve seen this before.
I can see the MSM headlines now – “ACORN is a victim of entrapment by the conservative right. Have they no shame?”
Nothing will come of this, especially if the DOJ is ever involved.
Sadly, I have to agree as ACORN’s MSM sycophants are sure to hush this whole thing up.
You’re kidding, right? A Federal investigation? Corruption investigating corruption? First of all, OUR tax money funds ACORN. Their funding must be withdrawn immediately. How much more proof do we need? We have put up with the corruption in this group for too long. They probably got Obama elected with fraud that we have yet to uncover. They have used thug tactics to destroy the home loan industry. They are a completely amoral and criminal group. If this government does not withdraw the funding from them right away, it is further proof of their complicity in all this. How much more do we need to take them down??? And we’d better hear from the republicans in Congress loud and clear…or else!

The housing crunch that screwed the economy was in no small part caused by these ACORN types when they were behind legislation to force banks to make bad risk home loans. ACORN is a menace to civil society, and most certainly to the economy.

acorn needs to see the entire tape before making any judgement calls, but even at that will blame rogue employees or volunteers because accepting responsibility is not a liberal trait. just like zero, who won’t admit to anything if someone else is conveniently available to blame. shut down acorn is has no credibility and serves no useful purpose, much like this administration.
I’m sure that lgm is feverishly looking for something that he can declare as a “Conservative” culture of corruption…but as usual, he’ll be forced to completely ignore the crime and corruption that is going on in his own back yard.

Here’s your laff ‘o the day. At the website with the video a woman commented on how she called that Baltimore ACORN office and was told that neither of those two women work for or have ever worked for ACORN. So naturally the commentor stated that they were actors and this was all a fake. LOL!

It’s a lot of things, but maybe not treason. Free press and all that. I will give you that GE + MSNBC + Obama Govt. = corruption. But take heart and be happy that the MSM medias low ratings, other than FOX, and the resulting harm to their bottom line is some sort of justice. All bets are off, However, after they have gotten a govt. bailout. And I don’t rule that out at some future date.
Is the video really four years old? In the transcipt on the biggovernment.com website, the main guy asks one Acorn worker if she has an iphone, and he says it a couple of times. I didn’t know iphones were that old.
Like Planned Parenthood is. Both organizations coach people on how to lie in order to evade the law. And both receive your tax dollars.

I guess they could hide those workers and claim they are not ACORN employees and there would be no way to prove it. Could this be covered up successfully and could we be screwed again? Do we have PROOF that they are ACORN people? If not, we are sunk.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but these helpful folks are at least partially paid with government funds, which means I pay taxes to pay them to instruct hookers and child sex pimps how to evade immigration laws and taxes, and get a nice house. Outrageous doesn’t begin to describe this.
The real question here is whether this kind of thing is local or systemic and wide spread in ACORN. What do you think?

Yep, it is recent. By the way, I just come from DU and for some reason the DUmmies are not mentioning this story at all. But then I found nothing at MSNBC, CNN or ABC a few hours ago when I checked. I’m shocked, shocked I tell ya.
I suspect the standard lgm/Rest Stop excuses of “Bush did it, too” and “ACORN never did anything wrong” won’t work here.
The ACORN woman mentions the “ho’s” 2008 taxes, so this ain’t old at all.
I cannot recall who above mentioned ACORN just closing their doors and re-appearing with a new name. It could indeed happen. Like roaches, they scurry fast when a light is shined on them. But they are tough to kill. Make no mistake, unless someone turns up mass murder they will survive in some form.
But I got to hand it to them, they are not stupid. Someone is accused of doing something illegal, they just shrug it off as being done by “volunteers” they are not directly responsible for, thus absolving themselves of any responsibility.

It is not dated. This took place this past July. So says the girl in the video, who appeared on Glenn Beck tonight.
I just googled this with 2005 in the search string, and nothing came up placing this video in that time frame. Also, as noted earlier, there were no iPhones in the US in 2005, so there’s no way it could be that old.
Also, the girl in the video is now twenty years old, that would make her 15-16 years old at the time of the video if it were filmed in 2005. She was in college at the time she filmed it, so that kind of kills any argument that the video could date that fat back.
So,I will need a link that places the video in 2005 before I even THINK about buying that it’s that old.

Honestly, I don’t know if it is authentic, though I do believe Obama was in fact born in Kenya.
The more important issue, however is his dual citizenship that he once held, which is clearly illegal but has not been ruled so by the courts.

We HAVE seen it before. They vet their employees as well as ObamAcorn vets his administration officials, cabinet officials and czars.
Maybe Barney the Frank was the one giving THEM advice…on who to see.

Well, CNN actually has an article about this on their web site. The problem is that they describe O’Keefe as a “conservative activist” and the woman with him as “another conservative”.
Now why would they do that?
