Obama “efficiency” in action

By Michelle Malkin  •  September 10, 2009 11:19 AM

What he did with Cash for Clunkers, he’ll do for health care.

That’s not a promise. It’s a guarantee

Less Than Half Of Cash For Clunkers Spending Actually Went To Dealers

$1.22 billion for the intended purpose. $1.66 billion for administering the money for the intended purpose.

Most people would normally be only talking about Ellen joining American Idol (although, that is pretty cool!)

Hmmmm…I can see that being disastrous. I mean can Ellen really bring that sleepy, pain killer-addled funny to the show?

I think it is trying to protect Rush.

No problem. I am sure Obama will have the wife and kids checking through all the sofas in the White House for spare change. That should be enough to cover the cost of Obamacare! After all there are a lot of sofas in the White House…

In this case it is not as bad. Remember, they were destroying perfectly running and functional cars that a lower income person could buy or someone who just wants to buy their child their first car. The less money spent on replacing cars, the less damaged to the parts and used car markets.

Homo-vicophob! Reality TV requires reality challenged people to make it interesting. And real I guess.

She’ll certainly change the dynamics of the show in a huge way. I can see her taking it over. Don’t know how she’ll get on w/Simon. Maybe she’ll turn the tables on him and gig him with witty and subtle barbs.

Let’s see. The government has an administrative cost of 1.66/3.00 or 55.33%. And they are going to save us money on health care…

In 4 years an aspirin will cost $400 and they will be in short supply. Stock up now!

Vico.din is a brand name, and the owners of the Trademark probably don’t want it seen in a negative light. As in “The only way I can watch Obama give a speech is after a couple of Vico.din.”

The issue with this plan wasn’t the administrative overhead, rather it was the fact the Obama used $2.88 billion of our money to buy people cars and in the process, he saw to it that the traded-in vehicles were trashed, rather than used for a worthwhile cause, such as giving them to people who could afford a new car or even a crappy used car.

    What a waste.

And if you want to add the lost value of the trade-ins to the overhead of this program, the irony is, the original blogger’s assertion is about right…

A tad off topic but just a few thoughts:

The bottom line to this is: I do not care how many people this Sock Puppet says have no Health insurance. The bottom line is, why is this Puppet not creating an atmosphere where business can grow once more and hire people. The bottom line is, why is the Puppet not helping small business by creating an atmosphere where small business can grow and hire people. The bottom line is, why is the Puppet not getting rid of ridiculous laws and restrictions on companies so they can compete thereby creating jobs thereby allowing working people to have health insurance and a job and money to spend on products and services. This is a question to the Libtard Trolls especially.

some kind of funny joke with libs? I am just curiou. See because Bush was a drunk, Rush is an addict but Clinton didn’t inhale and Obama was only experimenting…right?

Guess I am missing the big “haha”.

I think it is a funny joke to many libs because of the hypocrisy he exhibited when vocally condemning illegal drug use on his show. It is the same reason Haggard or Foley or Craig are funny. It’s not the gay, its the hypocrisy.

Frankly, there was nothing RIGHT about Cash for Clunkers. It was the classic government program.

Everybody loses and we all pay for it! ObamaCare is likely to make Cash for Clunkers look like a good deal though!

When did Rush condemn illegal drug use?

And why would banning the word Vico.din protect Rush?

That was mostly a joke. It probably has to do with spam ad filters.
