I seriously doubt the ties are cut. ACORN is not just a seedling. It had grown roots that are embedded into so many other governmental and nonprofit entities. Uprooting ACORN will take concerted effort from all of us and the cooperation of law enforcement.

Remember there is always Eric Holder, plus his boss. They are sure to be holdouts in the effort. Last I saw, these two are even micromanaging who gets prosecuted, and who gets a pass, in marijuana cases.

ACORN has been claiming that problems have been due to local offices. The Census Bureau is now using ACORN’s claimed lack of control over local offices against the entire ACORN organization. If national ACORN can’t control local groups, why should there be an expectation that a nationally-controlled census operation will be run any better than the other operations?

You mean he’s not gone yet? Seriously, I think one of two things will happen (and maybe both):
1. A new census czar will be named, circumventing the Census Bureau and the Commerce Dept.
2. ACORN will create another entity and the money/job will go to that affiliate of the ACORN/SEIU family.

all census workers work for census while some groups may be paid to recruit there are NO subcontractors that do the enumeration.
and that is why this news aint news the ACORNers are in place it is red herring

This Census Bureau decision will not stick. Some career Census Bureau official made this decision because it was the right thing to do but without checking with “higher headquarters.” Barry will let it be known he down not agree and this will be reversed.

The Dems are not going to give up an opportunity to game the Census for their advantage.
