    Liberal lawyer speak. “we can’t enact safeguards that might snare 1 innocent victim even if those safe guards protect the other 300M citizens from fraud and waste”. Look, NOTHING in this world is 100% when it comes to social policies. But that doesn’t mean you just throw out all safeguards. You try to limit it and make channels available to those who are wronged. But you can’t ignore the benefits of such safegaurds for the vast majority to spare a tiny number. It is just a tactic used by the libs to leave huge loopholes for abuse. Of course, most people scamming social benefits are indeed dem supporters, or will be once legalized. This is the same tactic that has rebuffed every reasonable effort to weed out illeglas and stop illegal immigration. The dems always cry, “but but 1 person might be inconvenienced in the process”.

    Complete BS. This is the same smokescreen used to prevent voter ID laws and employment eligibility. Any person that is misidentified in any of these cases would have ample recourse for appeal and to fix the error. Only somebody who was here illegally wouldn’t pursue that option. Dems only solution to illegal immigrant is to grant a broad amnesty. They fool no one except the willfully ignorant with their endless excuses, delays and diversions.

    Isn’t it strange that Dems think the government can’t manage a computer system to identify eligibility but it can run the massively more complex the countries health care system?

    and let’s make sure that the care is given in a tent city on the southern border so that they can help with building the dual-layer fence that was not only funded but promised and isn’t complete yet. If we have to house them in our prisons let them pay us back for their care and feeding!!

    Yeah, they are so concerned about legal residents not getting insurance – sort of like presenting a valid photo id to vote – it might prevent people with a real picture of themself from voting.

    I heard Judge Napolitano say that on Glenn Beck, too. Thus, the “language” of the bill isn’t really an issue. Once Obamacare gets forced upon the country, citizenship won’t be a requirement to receive “free” care. Plus, those who are saying that “amnesty” will be in place by that point make a valid point, as well. We won’t have any “illegals” here if they’re all declared “legal.” My God, what a travesty this all is…

    So who pays? 1 guess. Illegals won’t be under this plan, but they don’t have to show proof of residency…much like saying that you can’t drive a car without a license, but you don’t have to show one, when asked. People will be treated, regardless of residency. You can’t ask physicians/nurses to ask for proof first. It’s the old “answer without an answer”. Obama answers the question, without really answering it.
