Yes, the picture is real, nutroots

I was offline for most of the afternoon and early evening — and just learned that the nutroots are claiming that the screenshot of the 9/12 march in D.C. that I posted — taken from a livecam of the event that I linked to here — is somehow “fake.”
The claim is that the shot came from the Kennedy procession or a previous left-wing protest and that the flag at half-mast proves that it was “fake.”
Newsflash for the clueless: Flags were still at half-mast earlier today in honor of the murder victims of the 9/11 jihadi attacks.
Guess the 9/11-was-an-inside jobbers are still that much in denial.
Unbelievable.
Yes, this is real:

Drooly, a flyover would take special permission as it is normally closed airspace as you can imagine.
You can also imagine that would NEVER happen, at least not by anyone not controlled. Photos probably exsist, but don’t expect to see them anytime soon!
Thanx jaime….
“NOT fly a helicopter over…”
I believe the msm did but they were not taking pictures from the helicopter but were doing something else that reflected their real attitude toward us normal Americans.
Upcoming shovel ready projects in 2009 thru 2012(Meaning, let’s “We the People” dig in and change the culture in D.C. by tearing this disease up by its’ roots and ending this 70 year nightmare of entitlements and special interests):
*Obamacare
*Democratic majority
*P-BO and his Communist Clown Cluster
*RINO rat bastards(starting with McCain)
*Culture of Corruption in D.C.
Our political, cultural, and media progressive elites are manifesting to us their Zen adherence to the principle that if no one hears the tree falling in the forest, no tree has fallen.
So get with it, you conservative ignoramuses – nothing to see here, move on! ;>(
So if the forest starts burning, will they report it, yah think?
Anent the shot of “Culture of Corruption” being held aloft, MM has modestly ceased to report on her NYT Non-fiction Bestsellers ranking, but let’s all rejoice with her that IT IS STILL #1 FOR THE 6TH WEEK IN A ROW NOW!
Me too! But get a load of that video from the ‘other channel’, MM posted here. I’m shocked – bout time and good for them!
Guess you can hide the truth for just so long.
Does anyone have an overhead shot of yesterday’s DC march? If someone will superimposed an overhead shot on the
.
1.2 – 1.5 million is not a whimsical estimate at all.
“the Dems have managed to convince people that their ideas are mainstream, when in fact, they are not.”
The problem will come to a head when a clear majority makes the truth undeniable that a majority rejects the left’s ideas those folks on the left who will hold on to their belief no matter what cause claim foul, victims, etc., and end up causing unrest. And there will be those Van Jones’ in the wings waiting to fan the flames.
Some folks will change their minds and realize they were fed a load of cow dung. Others will be unwilling to surrender long held and quite frankly beliefs religious in nature and create all sorts of problems.
The left will be the source of the unrest and it will be triggered when the country clearly and loudly tells the left to shut up and go away.
I was there! It was HUGE!!! The inaccuracy in the numbers report is so frustrating. Hundreds of thousands is a small estimate! It took us over an hour just to make our way to the port-a-potties and back.
And for those complaining about the signs, I guess you forgot our first amendment rights…Isn’t that what we are working so hard for? Do you wish to silence those who wished to express their frustration in the way they wish to express it?
Huskergirl, thank you for being there for so many of us who could not.
Those complaining about the signs (I am not one of them) are not trying to infringe your right to speech. They are exercising their own right to criticise you for your choice of speech, not demanding you be stopped.
How about this one for total attendees:Washington D.C. 1.5 million + rest of the country = countless
The MSM is not taking into account all of the Tea Party crowds that gathered in diferent parts of the country on Sept. 12, 2009 with the same agenda.
This is a very important distinction as well.
Don’t forget that everyone has the right to speak out, regardless of his or her opinion. The sharing of ideas and beliefs is what made America happen in the first place!

Like others that have posted, I have been unable to sleep properly the last couple of days and can not stay away from all the news sites.
At one point I was live streaming CNN, FOX, watching Cable news, commenting here and reading internet news sights…simultaneously…trying to get a fix on the size of the turnout and the leaning of the various media outlets.
What a Day!
Tomorrow I’m a jurist, so I’d better get my sleep tonight.
Thanks All who attended. I really wanted to be there.
Does anyone know why Fox is deliberately downplaying the number? Are they afraid of the truth, and, if so, why?
I want to send them an email, but all I can find on their website is email addresses for individual shows.
“I have been unable to sleep properly”
I had an experience this morning that fixed that for me.
I drive to work early and at this time of year it is just as the sun is breaking the horizon at dawn. The last few days in Phoenix we’ve had some clouds. Massive rain in Sedona. I typically listen to the local “Classical” station, KBAQ. Yes its NPR, what am I thinking?
Driving in this morning KBAQ on Sunday morning usually plays the typical lighter classical music, nothing like Wagner to get one going on Sunday morning hey?, and this morning KBAQ was playing music that was recorded during a mass, a mostly choral piece, in some European cathedral.
I’m watching the sun come up, rays of light break through the clouds making a natural sunlight corona, beautiful Arizona reds, oranges and purples bouncing off the bottom of the clouds and listening to the most beautiful and inspiring choral cathedral music…..
And it hit me, CONTEXT. Put this stuff in context. Obama does not run the world and the universe. The main stream media does not run the world nor the universe. I do not. Glen Beck does not. Conservatives do not.
God is still God and He is still in control.
I’m looking forward to my nap this afternoon and a good night’s sleep tonight.
I just set up a mailing list that will support up to 500 email addresses. You can sign up on the right sidebar of my blog.

Looking at these photos is like me eating Doritos. Can’t stop!
fox News just showed a live shot of Obama’s rally Organizing for America. There are only about 1000 people mulling around the reflecting pool with signs! ROTFLMAO I guess he and Soros couldn’t rally the troops!
The left and the media in general are not going to agree to any large number. They will report a number and continue to report a number that fits their template. I hope no one is expecting the media to report accurately regarding events like this one. That just ain’t gonna happen.
From a very good source in the government Capitol Police said 2.2 million showed up! I was up in the stage area and could see down to the monument and it was just a sea of people!
Thank all of you who were able to go to these parties. I watched Glenn on Fox yesterday and was in tears seeing American’s doing their 1st. I might suggest to the elected in dc they pay attention to what is happening. I hope to see many of the elected on the weekly un-employment poll come 2010.
L
“Thank all of you who were able to go”
Really a big thanks. Good insight let. Those of us who would like to have gone but could not owe those who are able to and going a big thank you!
Well done let…
You all were there in spirit! And we were there for you as well!
Thank you jsm and xler8bmw. I just say what I mean, from my heart.

This is EXACTLY why I do not like the hard hard left and conspiracy theorists that hate free speech. Of course those photographs are real Michelle. What a bunch of Buffoons.
That sounds very encouraging!
I was there at 10:15 figuring the march would start at 11:30 AM. My daughter-in-law dropped me off at 15th and Constitution and I walked up to 14th and Pennsylvania. I was overwhelmed by the numbers. Freedom Park could not accommodate anything remotely resembling the crowd, and to relieve the congestion the march actually started at about 9:15. I stood for about an hour at 14th and Penn because so many people were coming in from the side streets that we couldn’t move forward.
I eventually marched about 5 blocks and stood under a building that had the first amendment inscribed on the wall facing Pennsylvania Ave. I turned around and the crowd behind me was still shoulder to shoulder. I had a mini-camera and started to video the crowd passing by. After about 3 or 4 minutes I gave up because it was just a sea of people from the Capitol to 14th street – and don’t forget all of the side streets as well. I left about 2:30 PM — and while the crowd had begun to thin, people still kept coming. (I knew the crowds were thinning because the hour wait for a portapotty had significantly diminished.)
This was by far the most significant event I have ever attended. The silent majority, the ones who pay the bills for the excesses of government, have had it.
Anecdotes: One man drove all night after work from Huntsville, AL. I talked to a couple of guys from Alaska. There were 72 bus loads of people from Ohio and many who drove as well. My favorite sign was “ACORN Field Office” tapped to a portapotty, but there were so many clever and insightful signs that you just wanted to bottle the creativity for use in building a better America.
Final Comment: God Bless America, and God Bless the great people who went to this DC protest. You are all heros to me.
Just so Mr. Obama knows we care!
Mr. Obama,
The PEOPLE HAVE SPOKEN! We had 1 million strong yesterday reports from Capitol Police 2.2 million and the other events around the country! WE OWN THE DOME! You answer to US not US answer to you! Your Organizing for America has few people today. You couldn’t rally the troops?! We have put you & congress on notice to change your ways and listen to the people! We DON’T serve you, you SERVE us! We saw you fly over yesterday on your way out of town to avoid us. You asked us in your speech to show up and we did and you didn’t have the common courtesy to listen. Well we spoke anyway DO YOU HEAR US NOW????!!!! There were more people yesterday to tell you GOODBYE than your inauguration to WELCOME you! We have spoken IT IS OUR HOUSE not yours you only rent it from us!
Pay attention because this won’t be the end of our protest and they will get bigger if you continue your destructive pattern of America!
Regarding the numbers of people.
I too heard the 2.2 million number but all along as I marched I kept hearing increases in the numbers. When I first showed up at 10:30, I thought 50,000 to 75,000 – this was way over the initial expectation and nobody could get to their state flag to organize into states. When the crowd started to move at 14th street, the number rose to 250,000 to 500,000. At around 12:45 we were told over a million and possibly as many as 1.5 million. By 2:30, the number was over 2 million with someone shouting out 2.2 million — and people were still coming.
If anybody tells you this was fake or only a few thousand showed up, tell them to go to hell.
Would the march on DC have been so successful had it not been for the dereliction of honest reporting (DUTY) from the state-run media? I believe the subversive actions of the media are the root cause to our anger and new found activism. If Charlie, Katie and Brian reported news like FOX, most Americans would at least be informed. Common sense says that Obama, and his communist czars and his America hating wing of the democrat party(85% of all democrats) would be rejected by a most Americans!
Fakers think others do the same.
Liars think others lie as well.
Thieves accuse other of stealing.
Communists lie, cheat, fake and steal.
A little joke in keeping with possible contrasts made between this protest and Obama protests:
Q: “What’s the difference between the Republican and Democratic National Conventions?”
A: “At the Republican conventions, the balloons always work.”
Hope and Change was elected because the American Voter was not paying attention. Well Mr. President you now have our attention.
Do we have yours?
Don’t think of this gathering and march as an end. It is just one in a long series of engagements. The ability of the people to ‘pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend…’ to ‘secure the blessings of liberty to us and our posterity’ will ultimately be the test of whether this nation shall so conceived and so dedicated can long endure.’ It will take far more than just this effort to see ‘that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.’
I used the words of John F. Kennedy, our Constitution and of Abraham Lincoln purposely. They are timeless words with real meaning for us today. But I cannot stress that this is just a single engagement where the opposition did not choose to cooperate and to meet with us. So instead we claim the field without having engaged or defeated anything or anyone. This is standard insurgency tactics. They know they cannot meet us toe to toe. But they do know that given time and too many such ‘demonstrations of force’ that we can be defeated in the long run through attrition and simply growing tired of seemingly throwing scarce resources at a foe who isn’t there when you’re in strength and is always pounding at your weaknesses. This will be a long campaign and it doesn’t end in 2010 or 2012, it make take a lifetime to make the kinds of real changes in the hearts and minds of people throughout the country. How many today are thinking that we need to shrink government? Then ask yourself are you willing to fundamentally change Medicare? Are you willing to consider eliminating Social Security? What are you willing to sacrifice to do as you wish?
Remember too, that the Republicans had 8 years to do something about health care reform and did nothing because it was neither convenient nor profitable for our lawmakers to do so.
Not everyone who argues with you is your enemy, not everyone who claims to agree with you is your ally. This is politics. The road will be long and tiresome and require sacrifice. Are you willing to do so?
Rep Thaddeus McCotter We Need To RESET the Health Insurance Reform Legislation.
Well, I was paying attention for over a year before the election. I swear I was the only person in St. Louis with three anti-Obama stickers on the back of my car months before November.
Not only is FoxNews sill using the “tens of thousands” number in their reporting, today on FoxNews Sunday the talking heads were “worrying about the Republican Party losing the middle by paying attention to the people at the DC rally and all of the Tea Parties. News Flash Talking Heads!!! The Republican Party is losing ground not in the middle, but with its concervative base.
In addition to that Chris Wallace threw Glenn Beck under the bus with a puff piece on the SEIU union president.
FoxNews is not on our side. They only appear to be better because they haven’t been completely co-opted by the left.
The rally and the events leading up to it must have had some impact; I see The chosen One will be on 60 Minutes tonight (yeah, tough venue) to explain himself to what is basically an echo chamber.
“FoxNews is not on our side.”
And they should not be. They should be on no one’s side.
I know that irratates me as well it they want to use thounds put 100′s in there!
I also, heard the panel I guess they missed the memo it WAS the middle class there yesterday! I didn’t see any limos parked at the curbs!
Odd, I have not seen any major news stories about the “massive” pro-reform rally supposedly taking place today. Does anyone have a link to photos of the lefts pathetic attempt? I know their websites are not talking about it much at all.
138 people. ..Tops.

On September 13th, 2009 at 12:44 pm,
Wrong!!! The percentage of voters registered as Democrats has shrunk from about 41% last November to about 31-32% per last report. So they’re going to the GOP right? Wrong!!! The percentage of voters registered as Republicans continues to shrink and is down to 23%.
Add it up. That’s only about 54-55% of voters registered to either party combined. A two-party democracy cannot function when both parties are unpopular by the majority of voters, which is where we are heading and may get there very soon.
If the parties don’t reform themselves, one or both will perish. Otherwise, there will be violence like you see in Iran and Venezuela where top down “democracies” rig the elections to try fooling the people that they are legitimate.
Unpopular democracies are not democracies at all. Are you listening to the tone of the leaders of both parties? Yesterday, Obama was mocking the moderate Democrats for putting “getting re-elected” above doing “what is right”. Hunh??? Run that by me again? Isn’t that exactly how “we the people” exert our power? That’s a character flaw for politicians to listen to their voters?
That is the same attitude that cost many conservative House Republicans their seats over the last two elections. Party over principle. Now the Blue Dogs who replaced them are in the same predicament.
That is why Sarah Palin could be critical next year. She promises to give these conservatives an alternative to their party leaders. If she succeeds, we could be talking a 3rd party president by 2016.
Screw the GOP. May they rot in hell.
You know, I’m really not happy about Dick Armey being involved in this. He is a GOP tool. We need to be careful about these interlopers. The GOP intends to steer us right off the road. This is a one-party system and they are running out of time. That makes all politicians more dangerous than ever. Mouth moving? They are lying.
They’re getting interesting though. Glenn Beck, Judge Napolitano, and soon John Stossel? Those 3 are not representative of the traditional Fox idealogues by any stretch.
They could ditch Geraldo at any time, though.
Fox’s claim to fame is fair and balanced. Me thinks Geraldo is safe for some time to come.
And for all those who complain about Fox News my guess is they don’t watch it. They do present both sides quite often. Juan Williams and Mara Liason along with Bill Crystal and Fred Barnes, etc. Although I’m not so sure about Mort Kondrake lately.
Ahh … to be able to afford RockerVision!

For our schadenfreude and snickering pleasure, I give you the Kos Kidz reportage of the masses who turned out today for it’s own DC rally – FOR Obamacare:
DC Public Option Rally Turnout Weak (w/ pics)
Snippet:
“I just returned from two hours at the rally. Turnout was maybe approaching 800-1000 when I left….more like 500-700.”
Heh.
Enjoy, folks!
Why not?
You can’t easily superimpose a crowd around the Tidal Pool and along PA Ave onto a diagram showing crowds on the much more capacious Mall.
So: 350k – 500K tops.
STILL a very big crowd!! NO ONE can say this event fizzled.
Well full I’d say the D.C. cops have a pretty good handle on how many were there. Maybe you don’t agree with them?
A pic of the rally FOR govt-run healthcare from the Kos post I commented about above. Try not to giggle at the multitudes surrounding the Capitol fountain:
Pic of the pro-Obamacare rally
Purple … that is incredibly hilarious!
RWR
http://www.rightwingrocker.com
OK, I thought the fore-mentioned DC Pro-Obamacare rally was pretty funny. But then reading along in the comments I see a KOS commenter reporting on the pro-Obamacare rally in NYC:
“NYC had ZERO people…
I went to the rally point and no one was there.”
The poor guy should have at least counted himself.
Well, that’s why I read Kos – for laffs. They have no idea how much humor they provide me!
I wish the lone attendee of the NYC rally had taken pics of that event, though!
I’m spraying coffee all over the monitor this afternoon.
Now that’s FUNNY they took little groups of different people and said no one was there LMAO!!! Creative aren’t they?
Who should I believe — them, or my lying eyes?
jsm– the DC police don’t do crowd estimates for the public so anything you are hearing is likely wrong.
Also, self reporter numbers are always over-inflated.
Not to say that there weren’t tons of people in DC. It was an amazing turnout. But it is very unlikely that it got over 1 million.
I do agree that news organizations should be saying hundreds of thousands (like MSNBC did in that video Michelle posted… I was very surprised at their reporting there)
There wer more than 500K tops they were on both sides of house and senate side of cap building all the way out o monument get a clue it was EASY 1.5 million! Cap police are saying 2.2 million!
I’m hoping I did the link okay (it’s comment #805141 if I didn’t)
jsmiddleton, your comment expresses what I too believe. We don’t always see His hand at work; sometimes we fight it, wanting to think that we’re in control. But the truth is that God reigns.
Thank you for expressing it so beautifully.
Sleep well tonight.
Stop listening to what they’re telling you on the news the Capitol Police and I have a very good source as well as called myself have a number 2.2 million! They were overwhelmed!
The lefties could have 25 show up and still get wall to wall coverage from our government supported media. I also agree with a previous post that FOX is good at putting on like they are interested in us serfs. They are all members of the same bird family only with slighlty different colored feathers.
“Thank you for expressing it so beautifully.”
You are welcome. It was one of the most beautiful sun rises I’ve seen in some time and the music was perfect. I sat in my car in the parking lot at work for as long as I could just watching and listening.
That can’t happen soon enough for me. When he shows up on the set, I change the channel.
“Who should I believe — them, or my lying eyes?”
You were there and surveyed the entire crowd to get an idea of how many were there full….?
“When he shows up on the set, I change the channel.”
Me too. Mute isn’t good enough anymore. That does not mean Fox is going to can him any time soon.
We have a local talk radio guy who is out to lunch liberal bent dude. He is on a conservative talk channel. He is not going anywhere despite what he says or his ratings. He’s the voice of the “other side”. He comes on, I change the channel.
There’s more than one of those types on Fox. Liberal radio talk show host babe, goofy silver haired DNC spokesman dude, Bob Becket (spelling?), none of them going anywhere.
Susan Estrich hasn’t gotten too much face time on Fox lately. Wonder where she is? Smoking too much to keep her raspy hot lawyer voice?
Eh – well I don’t mind that much right now, Rooster. I’m enjoying the KosKid’s Sturm und Drang. With lines like this – ” By the way, it’s bad form for the sponsor not to show up” – I am amused.
This morning I was privileged to be helping lead worship at our church, so I understand how a wonderful piece of sacred music can draw one into that special place, one where both meditation and praise can happen.
Add a glorious sunrise, and it really does put it all in the proper perspective.
I have to run off again. Thanks to everyone for the wonderful reports about the march – especially to those who were able to be there.
Your church has a Worship Team kind of thing, Stranger?
I could not quite tell but the music was maybe Latin? Not quite a Gregorian chant and I’m thinking a Catholic Mass kinda thing. So it could have been a magnificent cathedral choral arrangement of “We need to kill all those Anglo Saxon Protestants now” song….
But hey, it sounded great!
No, but I can see the photos.
And as I said, I used the diagram at the top as a reference.
Also, I lived in DC for five years (two blocks behind the Supreme Court building on the Hill) and have walked the Mall and PA Ave from the WH to the Capitol numerous times. I also watched (not demonstrated at) the 1969 rally which an estimated 500,000 attended.
So I know the scale of the place, and how much narrower PA Ave is than the Mall.
Again, impressions by people on the ground are vastly inferior to airborne shots. At Obama’s inaug, someone used a tethered balloon over the Mall to take pictures — a low security risk method.
Finally, I’m not trying to rain on anyone’s parade, so to speak. We just look silly saying 2.2 million when the Park Service diagram puts that final red dot on the right at 1.9 million. That was an inaugural record, at LBJ’s inauguration, which was held on the “other” side of the Capitol, not on the side facing the mall. So there were people on that side in addition to one’s all the way back to the Monument.
That might explain why the total headcount on the Mall side is 1,186,000, but Johnson’s total was supposedly 1.9 million. (but I doubt that figure as well, as there’ not room for 700,000 people on that side of the Capitol)
I don’t know if anyone’s posted it, but this site’s got some more good pics, including the lack of trash after “our” event. Note also how far down the Mall the crowd goes, and compare that with the diagram. 1.2 million? No way. On further reflection I’ll go with my 350K figure.
http://www.stealthfusion.com/forum/fusion-research/4910-amazing-photos-9-12-march-washington-vs-usa-today-national-mall-schematic.html
You are awfully full of yourself there full….
I’m quite comfortable with the DC Police figure as an realistic estimate.
“I too am furious at FOX for STILL using the “tens of thousands” number in their reporting.”
I look at the words “Ten of thousands” as interpretable as anything up to 100,000…but that’s just me. Someone else can take it to mean anything up to and above that. Overall FOX did a good job covering it. Certainly much much, better than the other outlets did. we all know it was big and sucessful. The other side will never be convinced and would dismiss it ’til doomsday anyway.
Wayfaring Stranger said: “That can’t happen soon enough for me. When he (Geraldo) shows up on the set, I change the channel.”
If you did not have to grow up near NY when he was the poppin fresh face on the news, consider yourself lucky. I have been avoiding having to watch him since WAAAAAAAAY back.
I can see the “tens of thousands” Fox and others keep referring to but who are the other hundreds of thousands of people standing around? Was it jaywalking day in DC yesterday? Or maybe the protest attracted hundreds of thousands of gawkers?
purplepeep Said “I give you the Kos Kidz reportage of the masses who turned out today…”
Thanks, LOL! I went to KOS and read up on it. A diary from one named “coquiero” who there estimated the pro-rally crowd at 300. He then went on to say, ” But we had something beside numbers, something more important.”. LOL! Really pathetic. He had only 5 comments to it. They are avoiding discussing it as if the subject is one best forgotten.
Yeah, making my case with facts and reasoning is being full of myself.
But smugly relying on “the authorities” is…what?
Meh.
Me? Rather than go with anecdotal evidence, I try to learn the facts. Call it quirky, but it’s just how I roll.
It always amazes me how well the press has sold this BS of the unbiased journalist to a large portion of the public over the years. The guy/gal that thought that one up should have died rich and their picture should hold a place of honor in the Hucksters Hall of Fame. There has never been , nor will there ever be, an unbiased news organization or reporter. Fair and Balanced is some Manhattan advertising executives idea to sell FoxNews, not an actual corporate policy that they actually enforce.
If you were to somehow go back to the founding of this country and to the writing of the Constitution you’d see what freedom of the press means. For every Tom Paine writing pamphlets that the Crown considered sedition there was a Tory writing pamphlets about how King George was a great guy and how all the lowlifes following Washington where traitors and should be hanged on the nearest tree. The reason we don’t know the names of those people is because they LOST!
The closest thing we have to that freedom of the press is the internet, where all ideas stand or fall on their own merit and it’s your responsibility to sort the wheat from the chaff.
So please don’t tell the press shouldn’t be on anyones side. As a minimum they should be on the side of the Constitution and the truth.
Here’s the “me” I left out of my last post
jsmiddleton4 said: “He comes on, I change the channel.”
As far as liberal talk radio goes in my area, it does not exist. But you should really force yourself to listen to him now and then. Just to know the enemy if nothing else.
I I give you an A for effort the mass of people were stuck from penn ave to 8th street the overflow had to move from there to natl mall. The parks & rec said they couldn’t go to ntl mall because of no permit and the crowd shouted “we own the mall” guess what they went to the mall! penn ave is not hat narrow your memory is faded! if you looked down from the stage which I was on the sea of people went to the monument so get a clue!
As I’ve said time and again, it’s time to stop voting for Republicans and Democrats.
Though I am most strongly behind my idea of the Federalist Party, I will vote for the candidate that most closely espouses those views.
And it’s also why I voted for John McCain.
By the way, I honestly cannot say we would be having this Revolution with McCain in the White House. The number of conservatives who voted for him would cause us (or at least those who voted that way) to have to shut up about his version of illegal socialist healthcare.
In this regard, Barack Obama may very well have been the best thing to happen to America in a very long time. Without him, the people of this country would still be walking around in an apathetic daze.

Obviously full of himself, James Simpson over at “American Thinker” opines:
” Here is a series of time lapse photos of the march from 8:00 am to 11:30am. The crowd was constantly anywhere from 25 to 50 abreast. I know. I walked in the middle of it, along the sidewalks to move forward quicker, and around the entire circuit, up to and beyond Senate Park. At times, we were so crammed together, breathing became strained. Taking the low number, and assuming a line of 25 crossing a given point every second for three-and-a-half hours, gives you about 300,000. Whatever the actual number, it was certainly magnitudes greater than “tens of thousands.”
Even more funny is the commentary about Kos and DU over at DUmmieFUnnies. Check it out if you haven’t already.

Correction: It’s why I DIDN’T vote for John McCain.
And it’s why I DID VOTE for Alan Keyes.
My apologies, though I doubt anyone who ready my comments in the run-up to the election could forget my positions on McCain.

Stupendous non-sequitor. Your credibility with me just crashed to zero. You are a Republican noseholder, either in disguise or in denial.
Ha, don’t let any trolls, KOS, or any other goofball-acting lefties sidetrack the discussion.
The point is, a HUGE crowd came to DC yesterday and it pretty much came under the radar of most people.
Way to go, Patriots!!!
See 805235 for my correction, duh.

Make that 805231 … Can’t we please get back to the numbers that start with 1? Webmaster? Help?

I think it’s the 10th amendment we’re currently working for. And of course everybody absolutely has the right to carry any darned sign they want, be it 9/11 Truthers For Small Government, Forget TARP: Joe Wilson For President, or Blame Obamam But Not The GOP For Government Spending.
It’s just that in my opinion, some of those messages isolate frustrated center voters who might otherwise agree with us, and they don’t seem to reflect the original and simple intent of the TEA parties, which was to shovel blame where it belongs: on both sides of the aisle.
LOL! My mouth dropped open when I read that first version! Don’t you hate it when that happens?
I am sorry, but I am sick and tired of being called names and put down by the liberals….
In my opinion, David Axelrod = SOCIALIST BASTARD!
axelrod = deaf dumb and blind….
trim his mustache a bit and he could almost pass for hitler…
Found this video of a small kerfuffle with ACORN frauds selling Gadsden flags at the Protest! After they were discovered for who they were, they were chased out of the Mall.
I guess we better beware of who we purchase from at future protests, so that we’re not inadvertently filling ACORN’s coffers.
And right on time. Axelrod tells us we are wrong and most of Americans agree with Obama.
“White House senior adviser David Axelrod said Sunday that the protesters, part of the “tea party” movement, do not represent the views of the broader public when it comes to health care reform.”

axelgrease like all liberals live in denial, for him to even state the majority of Americans agree with zero, proves how much lying is easier to accept. as it was so eloquently stated in a movie, axelgrease can’t handle the truth.
Dear Mr. David Axelrod,
Regaring your comment that the tea party movement does not represent the views of the broader public I would ask you to support your claim. We respectfully await your answer.
Thank you,
American Patriot
What elese can he or anyone else in the White House say at this point?
As Karl Rove pointed out they are aiming their comments at the Congress, trying to convince them what they are seeing is not all that bad.
That’s why keeping the heat on your Congressman is key.
