Speaking of Pelosi, apparently she got a bit choked up over fears of "violence"

Speaker Nancy Pelosi: “I have concerns about some of the language that is being used...This kind of rhetoric is just, is really frightening and it created a climate in which we, violence took place and … I wish that we would all, again, curb our enthusiasm in some of the statements that are made."

IMHO it's criminal that this person is actually the Speaker of the House of the United States of America, and as such, is a mere two heartbeats away from the presidency. God have mercy...

I don’t believe for one minute that Pelosi or the rest of the Democrats are ignorant of ACORN’s criminal base. The Democrats view such people as the downtrodden of society, the ones damaged by the system.

I note that Pelosi is now scared of violence. I suspect she knows that 1.7 million people showed up in DC and that this has caused great angst within Democratic Party circles. She knows that the thugs and loonies that have infected ACORN and SEIU will fight for their lives (as they have already done at a number of town meetings), and she also knows that the people who actually pay the bills have had it with her and her big government socialism.

The next set of rallies must be at the headquarters of ABC, CBS and NBC. The press can no longer be allowed to hide from their responsibility to speak truth to power and to defend the rights of free speech and assembly guaranteed to each citizen. The press is supposed to be the friend of the people and the watchdog of the powerful. They have failed deliberately.
