   Man does this piss me off. Sure does not “pay” to be a good citizen these days.

    Actually, IMHO, it’s vastly overvalued at $4. I did make a lot of money on the stock at one time, but I’d never own it now.

    This is why Obama, members of congress as well as the bankers need to be aggressively prosecuted. They had to work hand-in-glove to pull off the fraud.

    The idiots assumed that the scale of the federal budget could hide their fraud and they could slide on by without detection. As with the downfall of all criminals, their hubris and greed caught up with them. They got caught runiing back and forth from vomitorium to banquet table.

    If we can’t get large scale indictments from this then the system really is unredeemable.

    What banking fraud laws were committed by Citibank? What other laws were broken in their greed? What laws were broken by Fannie or Freddie? Did they know they were receiving fraudulent paper from Citibank?

    I want to know exactly how many mortgages have been provided where only a tax identification number were allowed, and how many of those went into default.

    If you recall, banks across the country were clamoring for illegal alien business stating they would accept the Matricula Consular card to open accounts. One bank in Milwaukee publicly advertised accepting the MC card in providing loans, including mortgages.

    So, how many of these illegal alien mortgages went into default, and what impact did they have on the current housing mess?

    How much federal tax money was given to banks in “stimulus” or bailouts to cover their losses due to these mortgages?

    Enforce the damn law!

    As long as they (the Board of Citibank) are not held accountable under the law, the price is small to the Board, but larger to shareholders.

    Those in official positions at Citibank reaped the rewards of ripping off the taxpayers for years until the housing market tanked. How much did they make in comparison to what they lost in stock value?
