I submit that Rush Limbaugh doesn’t give a crap who Rooney endorses, because it’s not political endorsements that win football games, it’s players. My hubby is a diehard Steelers fan and a die hard conservative. Tho I prefer the asthetics of the Panthers, I have come to appreciate the black and gold through osmosis because it’s about the hitting and the running and interceptions and the score, not politics! Come Gladitors!!! Time to play!

jet, what a great and considerate idea. we can affirmative action sports. so each basketballteam has to carry 4 short white guys who can’t jump on their team of 12. tall white guys who can jump don’t count. over 6 feet, you aren’t aa maaterial. consolation points at the end of the third period of football, we even the score, so the losing team doesn’t get depressede and lose it’s self esteem by a blowout. then for every loss the football team has at any point in the year, they get a consolation touchdown to begin the next game. so a team with a 2 and 8 record would start the 11th game with a 6 touchdown headstart, but remember the 4th quarter rule. who gives a crap about soccer. baseball though could be fun because it is latin, black and white. so how to aa the baseball teams. hmmmm.
