John McCain, o’ John McCain,
Let us all sing his name!
He’s a brave hero, fought the Viet Cong
And now he’s fighting the battle
To keep America strong!
Snappy tune, eh? We just made it up.

Did everyone already forget tha Obama song that a school did where they made a production video out of it? Or the video of the militant black teens doing a military style chant and marching drill espousing the glories of Obama of a few short months ago? And has everyone forgotten how we were mocked by the Lubs and trolls about how paranoid we all are?

What about a couple of weeks ago when we were all called racist and paranoid when we brought up the class programs sent by the White House that was to be used following Obamas FIRST DRAFT SPEECH...the one he was planning on giving had not parents stood up and said they would not stand for their children being indoctrinated in their schools?

We were bullied for eight years with, "are you questioning my patriotism" and it has become, "you are an insane, paranoid, racist", so that people will be to afraid to speak up and out against this. They learned the words that Conservatives tend to fear having attached to them.

Well that's all they are...words. And unless you are those things, then you should not fear them. Stand up and make a stand against what is going on. It needs to be stopped now. Saying you could have stopped it but didn't want to be called names by some patchouli soaked moron is a pretty weak reason to lose your children to the neo-fascists and neo-Socialists.

I'm frightened, as a public school teacher, that perhaps instructional time was used for this "project." Is the class from an under-performing school? Gives new meaning to "no child left behind"...And the teacher said, "I like that!" Great...

Does anyone else remember classrooms with pictures of George Washington, a Star-Spangled Banner on a pole in the front of the classroom, and starting the day with the Pledge of Allegiance? Does anyone else remember .22 rifles in the cloakrooms waiting for their owners to reclaim them so they could go squirrel or rabbit hunting on the way home? Does anyone else remember The Lone Ranger Creed?
We didn't have them waiting in the cloakroom, but my brothers' BB-guns were at home, as well as an archery set, and we all learned how to use them.

I remember watching the Lone Ranger (ah, yes, black and white TV - in more ways than one ;-) ), but I'd forgotten the creed; thanks for the refresher.

Oh, and I remember starting the day with both the Pledge of Allegiance and the Lord's Prayer.
