I am guessing you are talking about the fact that it is a church song. I am ambivalent on that point since they are only using the melody. Now, if they were singing an actual church song (complete with orignal lyrics), I would also say that is wrong.

I understand what you are saying. You are expressing concern over the power of this technology to pry into the mind itself. I am making the point that just about every ground breaking technology experienced similiar feedback, ie, “this is just wrong.” You are entitled to your opinion, but to answer your earlier question, no I don’t think it’s going to far. Now, if the state was to try and use this technology in civil proceedings (for example), then yes, that’s going to far.
