A Facebook friend told me about Lt. Daniel Cnossen.

He is an amazing patriot and I’m asking you to read his story…

…and then please do what you can to contribute to help support Lt. Cnossen and his family on the road to recovery.

A true hero. His sacrifice for our nation is immeasurable. I can only hope that his attending physicians are as dedicated and professional as he is.

Too bad the liberals, who rarely, if ever, serve in the military, can’t see the sacrifice these brave young men and women face each day.

John Kerry has snuck a $20 Million dollar earmark into a defense spending bill to honor Teddy Kennedy. With the money the Kennedy’s have, I’d say let them build their own library in honor of Senator Kennedy and not waste tax payer money. Aren’t these liberals just great – always the benevolent ones with other people’s money.

The $20 Million could be used to help families like Dan’s.

With a son at West Point I am always torn apart by these stores and furious at our administration and the Generals who came up with the new rules of engagement. Michelle, I hope you won’t mind me directing people to Blackfive.net for more stories like these…Dan, you get well, get new legs and get back out there-we need you. God Bless You.

Sorry to be cross-posting from another thread, but this is exactly the kind of crap I was thinking when I posted the other comment, included below.

I have been doing a slow-burn for awhile, since I met a young veteran of Iraq and Af’stan recently who was badly wounded, along with a few other veterans who were also wounded.

It’s been absolute fury since reading the terrorist-loving jackasses in Washington decided to give $400,000 to Gaddafi.

This young veteran had been wounded by an IED, had a severe TBI, lost a limb and has had several surgeries for other injuries since returning in 2003-2004.
He was in a coma for some time, and if the VA had their way, they would have warehoused him in some nursing home. His wife fought hard for him to get the outside care he needed to be rehabilitated, to the point where he is now able to walk, speak some words (although hard for him due to the TBI) and to a point, care for himself.
They are moving soon, and his wife has been told by their new VA that they refuse to pay for his outside care that has rehabilitated him to the point he is now.
His wife has provided considerable care for him which they are not compensated for, yet the VA refuses to pay a little over $100 a month for this rehabilitation.
The morons running the VA would rather have paid many hundreds per month for him to live in a nursing home.

    No. Common. Sense!

Yet these same lying bastards state publicly they are doing all they can for our wounded veterans.

…and our politicians who were so concerned for our veterans just a couple years ago, now give plenty of money to those with a history of supporting terrorists.

I guess we should consider ourselves lucky we have not yet been forced to pay for our own medical care…

iamsaved et al; absolutely right! opm is the only money these libs contribute to anything. bill clintons used underwear, biden’s miserly gifts, kerry’s use of opm for every charity, and kennedy’s use of opm for his own use. scratch a lib, you find a jerk who wants to be remembered as a do good hero but only uses opm and other people’s courage.

The Good Lord has blessed me in so many ways and I felt privileged to be able to send a donation via PayPal this morning after reading about Lt. Cnossen on this site. I have already seen a return on my money. I was loading remodeling supplies at Lowes this afternoon for a home remodeling chore and had my hands full with some sheets of heavy 3/4″ T&G sub-floor and underlayment board. A complete stranger walked up and just started helping me load my truck. When finished I thanked him and as I pulled away it struck me that maybe that was God paying me back a little bit. Made me feel good inside.
