Two men removed from plane at LAX. CAIR lawsuit in 3, 2, 1…

By Michelle Malkin  •  September 28, 2009 05:10 PM

This latest Los Angeles Times report serves as an official CAIR dog whistle:

A plane was stopped from taking off from Los Angeles International Airport, and two men on board were taken into custody, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

LAPD Lt. John Romero said the men, who appeared to be of Middle Eastern descent, were acting suspiciously.

A law enforcement source said at least one of the men ran into a restroom on the plane and appeared to hide while the New York-bound jet was taxiing on the runway, according to the source, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because the case was ongoing.

The flight crew confronted the two men and made the decision to stop the plane before it took off, the source said. The men were taken into custody by heavily armed law enforcement officials.

The plane has been taken to a remote area of the airport to be searched by a bomb squad, sources said.

As I mentioned last week, the flying imams’ lawsuit against airport/homeland security officials was cleared for take-off earlier this summer.

Fasten your seatbelts for another.

Update: Officials say there was no threat on the LAX flight.

Money saved or court time, prison time (like that ever happens), legal representation, lawsuits, etc.

I say the airline should compute the cost of the delay and extra screening and sue the idiot. Where is Darwin when you need him?

Sadly, how true. I was on a flight to Reno the other day and this lady behind me slinks down in her seat and lights up a cigarette. Within seconds everyone around me is looking around and sniffing. Stewardess comes and she quickly puts it out. She lit up two more times during a four hour flight and the airlines finally said they were going to call the cops and have them meet the plane if she didn’t knock it off.

My muslim boss, who I believe is an all-american conservative, once took pictures of the ceiling/support structure at an airport in DC. This was post-9/11. By the time I saw what he was doing, it was too late to tell him it was a stupid thing to do. The 2 of us were taken aside for special screening. Why would anyone even want that picture? Maybe an architect or someone with a special interest in design or engineering (which he does not)? In light of heightened security concerns post-9/11 there is no way I would have done something so provactive. I can’t understand why he did.

Indeed, that is how it sounds.

Even if it isn’t, muslims should know to watch how they behave on airplanes. I-Don’t-CAIR is a terror-supporting organization, trying to protect the “right” for terrorists to kill Americans. So, anything they support, I’m against.

    You sound like nannyish liberal.

What “race” do Muslim barbarians belong to? What common race do Muslim Indonesians and Muslim Africans and Muslim Middle-Easterners have in common?

None. Therefore, it is not “racism” to criticize the barbaric, violent Muslim religion and those barbarians who follow it.
