Tall tale of the day: The First Lady’s weird Olympic memory

By Michelle Malkin  •  October 2, 2009 11:03 PM

From Michelle Obama’s failed pitch to the International Olympic Committee:

“Some of my best memories are sitting on my dad’s lap, cheering on Olga and Nadia, Carl Lewis, and others for their brilliance and perfection.”

Um. Ew. Oof.

Mrs. Obama was 20 years old when Lewis first competed in the Olympics in 1984.

Senior White House adviser and Chicago slumlord overseer Valerie Jarrett promised earlier this week that “there wouldn’t be a dry eye in the room” after FLOTUS spoke.

She probably wasn’t expecting tears of…laughter.

Mrs. O is looking more and more like Mrs. Clinton every day.

Well that doesn’t automatically make this untrue… ;)

    Not automatically.

Of course, if it’s true, then it’s REALLY CREEPY.

The more Michelle speaks, the more I refuse to refer to her as “FLOTUS.”

She resembles more “FLATUS” when she opens her mouth.

    And that’s not an acronym.

As opposed to what, voting for some obscure third party candidate that has zero….ZERO chance of winning? You vote third party and you WILL get more of the same….4 more years of the same Chairman Obama, only worse because he doesn’t have to worry about getting re-elected.

I’m not pro-GOP, I’m pro-reality. Third party is for suckers.

    McCain … Obama … Bush … Clinton …

How long will it take you to figure out that the Republicans and the Democrats are one and the same?

Vote Republican … get the same thing you would have gotten from the Democrat … Vote Democrat … get the same thing you would have gotten from the Republican.

If you couldn’t see that in this last election, then you are the problem, not the solution. Keep on living in your dream world. Just don’t complain to me when your freedom is gone.

Vote for a third party and cheer when your principles are upheld and Obama is President.

Looks like they’re being upheld pretty nicely, thanks to the Tea Parties that wouldn’t have happened if McCain were in office.

We’d have been stuck with John-Barack McBama and no one standing up to him – in fact, the Donks in Congress would be pulling him even further to the left, and McCain would be seen as a hero for stopping them from making things worse than he wanted them to be, which isn’t any better than what we have. So what’s better? Tea Parties or taking it on the chin to support a party that doesn’t support you or your beliefs?

And it’s happening EXACTLY the way it’s supposed to. Americans are standing up to the corruption in the Republican and Democratic Parties. Membership in both parties is dropping faster than ever. Both parties are toast. It’s just a matter of time. We’re either going to have one or both parties replaced with new or the parties will be done away with altogether.

America will be better off in either case.
