The question I have is:

Will any thinking Democrat voter actually understand this issue and begin to realize that there is something systemically wrong with their party as a whole? Or are they mostly brain-dead?

I have no problem with going back over the records. Anyone else who violated the rules should also be removed from their chairmanship (if they have one.) I’m all for that.

The moral of this story seems to be that if you are a democrat you can violate ethics rules all you want. If you’re ever caught, just call for an investigation and continue to act as if the ethics laws don’t apply to you. Before the investigation finishes, announce that you have just discovered another possible “inadvertent” violation of the rules on your part. This will force them to expand their investigation, which will basically restart the clock.

Using this scheme you can continue to use your office to get rich and avoid taxes until you are voted out of office or die. What’s the worst that could happen to you under current House management?

I called for a presidential candidate leadership qualification exam the other day. I think we need a congresscritter leadership qualification exam as well. Then, we should make it manditory that all of these people recertify every year to prove that they can do their jobs. Certification should be the responsibility of a separate branch of government with it’s own chain of command. Voting is not enough. Boxer’s “Integrity Committee” is a useless, laughable, ineffective waste of time. These people are running wild with virtually no adult supervision.

Isn't it interesting how so many of the country's smartest people, most of whom are lawyers (and aren't afraid to let you know just how smart they are,) have all these lapses, and oversights? These, the same people who can't take the time to read the proposed bills prior to voting, and are so overwhelmed with work (what are their work days and hours again?) They are in power, and are above the law, and they know it. How long will they be able to trade on the notion that they are smart enough to do the job? Blood is shooting out of my eyes!!!
