Except the government has been shutting down organizations based on “fair and equitable trade contracts between individual citizens” since the early seventies that I know about personally. I used to be involved in one called Barter Systems and the govt could not figured out how to tax private contracts between private citizens so shut down the FREE membership parent organization that was run by strict volunteers (so as not to create any generation of capital or income for the company itself) as a money-making scheme.

If it’s anything close to the raids that have been carried out on Social Security, they’ll spend it on something else and it’ll be broke by the time it’s supposed to go online. They’ll have a good time with all those billions and then have to set up emergency taxation to even start it.

Going Galt is starting to sound passive to what’s coming down the pike with taxpayers. We’ve got 15 million out of work and the country is broke.

It’s NOT about HEALTHCARE…it’s about control of the people.

1)Create an enemy (health insurance industry)
2) Aggressively act to defeat that enemy, save the people, and show yourself as the savior of the people.
3) In doing so, take away more liberty and freedom, and increase your power.

Dictators and totalitarian governments have been doing this since people gathered into villages. It works. Those that do not know their history are doomed to repeat it. Stalin, Hitler, Pol Pot, Chavez, etc., knew this too.

By discussing this issue, the only thing we can hope to accomplish is making enough noise that the MSM might run it on tv/newspapers and get more people involved in calling their elected officials to vote it down.

Otherwise, it’s just NOT ABOUT HEALTHCARE.

There are many of us who would never unionize or go on strike. We don’t deal with cars and other products; we deal with the health and life of people..

Speak for yourself — don’t call it a strike — call it a vacation when government runs out of money to pay you. This is how it been done in BC, Canada. A while ago, when BC told the MDs it couldn’t pay them for December care, they went on vacation. In Kanloops, this left one GP and a vet running the ER for about 100,000 folks. The vet was the ‘anesthesiologist’ — he had lots of experience putting your pet dog under… Good enough for Fido…

You are setting up yourself for disappointment if you are expecting a response just because you asked a question of any elected official.

This is Barack Obama we’re talking about here.

No one really expects a response.

It is important, however, to make sure these questions keep getting asked, and louder each time, to help more Americans wake up to knife that’s been pointed at their backs for a hundred years.

If unionized doctors and nurses go on strike

There are many of us who would never unionize or go on strike. We don’t deal with cars and other products; we deal with the health and life of people. It would be inexcusable to betray the trust that patients and their families have on us. Some may unionize/strike, but the true healthcare givers work out of love of the job, not pay or benes.

You really think the public is this stooopid?
