Despite Communist China declaring itself as a communist nation, it has been moving into a more socialist form of government since the 90s. Two things to remember though, never call them Socialists as they do prefer the Communist Label and never order Peking Duck; it is now known as Beijing Duck … also never eat with your hands around them as it is considered rude.

Duh One “Hopes” you will not need to be made aware of these “Changes” but with him in office and a complicit congress behind him … well … better safe than sorry.

During the cold war Carter administration, Russian missle technology was well behind ours too. Ballistic missle accuracy was within a mile of the target.

At the time it had to do with bearings. The Russian did not possess equipment to produce machine bearings of the quality necessary.

Step in President Carter. In order to provide the Russians better machinery for ‘farming tool purposes’ he relaxed the restrictions and the Russian were able to purchase our best machining tools.

Not only did their missle accuracy increase, but their submarines became quieter.

As for farming, it pretty much stayed the same, go figure.

During the Carter years we gave the Russians technolgies that we spent billions to create. They go them for almost nothing. Bascially, because Mr. Big Tooth Smily in the White House didn’t see anyone as threat.
