Okay, so we now former Republicans are just supposed to "do what we're told"? No way....even though the dems may remain in office because we voted for the conservative, we have to get a real conservative party going right here, right now. Just can't see voting for the status quo. Kudos for the folks who spoke out to irrelevant Gingrich.

It's getting harder and harder to square this Newt fellow with the guy who lead the Republican Revolution of '94. What I want to know is, how did he get here from there? Who bought him off? The Chinese?

Newt has shown what he really is. He is a party appendage who doesn't have a clue what real non elite Americans are thinking.

I have relegated Newt to the road pizza category of politicians.

DOA

Good riddance, you you never were very impressive, you just got a lot of face time on the tube and you put more effort into self aggrandizement than organized and principled opposition.

The real leaders of the conservative republican movement will emerge from the sidelines soon enough.

Let's hope that Doug Hoffman, Marco Rubio, and Sarah Palin bear my point out.

Your a dinosaur Gingrich, leave us alone.

Will current serving Republicans withdraw from their next race because they are opposed by both a Democrat and a Conservative?
No.
Will the Conservative?
No.
Will Democrats salivate with being opposed by a Republican and a Conservative?
Yes.
Will this result in more Democrats getting elected?
In the short term, probably. However, just as has happened with the current Democrat in the White House, the problems they have brought on and exacerbated will continue to get worse, forcing the people of this country to face the fact that it is the Founding Fathers' ideal that made this country great, and they will flock to Conservatives in droves, forcing the Democrats and the Republicans onto the scrap heap of history.

From the ashes will arise a second conservative party, and over time, the mistakes of the last century will be dismantled.

That's most likely how it is going to happen.

But they’ll hear us.
They'll hear us when our candidates are sitting in the offices they used to hold, all the while wondering what kept them from hearing us when they could have done something about it.

Nah ... They'll continue to shove their heads ever higher up the arses of the Donks.

Cantor seems to have gotten himself "Newt-ered" since he entered "leadership."

If nobody is following you are NOT leading! When will the GOP figure that out? Probably not until they have to cancel the 2016 nominating convention when no delegates show up...

More proof that Newt Gingrich has jumped the shark.
In Dallas to promote his book, Gingrich came face to face with Dallas Tea Party activists and, well, let’s just say they were in no mood to listen to Mister Newt and how much he has “grown...

My own Rep. Eric Cantor used to be reliably conservative before he got into "leadership". Now he's voting for bailouts and donating to liberals like Dede. If that's the direction the "leadership" of the GOP is determined to take, I'm not following.

I am so done with these weasels.

Virginia's 7th needs a Tea Party candidate to run against our RINO.

MarcoPolo – Thank you and your father for bringing “The Real Newt Gingrich” to our attention. It’s a powerful 1/2 hr with very important information. (Also loved the Dallas Tea Party sign!)

You’re welcome. I hesitated because the JBS has such a reputation, but in another open thread another poster here proved me pretty wrong about my pre-conceived notions about that organization too. It’s amazing just how poisoned our information wells are.

My family isn’t involved, in fact I’d be surprised if my Dad knows who they are. He’s just a guy that worked blue collar for a living until he retired. Watches a little tv, listens to a little talk radio…votes the party line. He would rather talk football policy than fiscal policy.

So coming from him this was a sign to me that times are changing and our messages really are getting through to the very audience we’re trying to reach.
