BOB:

the influence of religion has been much more of a positve influence than a negative one.
That may be true of yourself, but I doubt that your typical Muslim in the Mid East could say the same.

Religion gets a special place making it insulated from criticism. The fundamentalists of all stripes take advantage of this.

I'm glad you thought I did well against Sean. Thank you.

I think my "birther" post just ahead of your post froze this thread in it's tracks. LOL

I listened to the Utube video and you held your own well against Hannity, especially considering his complete control of time.

I try to stay out of discussing religion, but I will say that for me and the environment I have lived in for my 66 years here on Earth, the influence of religion has been much more of a positve influence than a negative one.

It has served a useful purpose whatever it turns out to be at the end.

Anyone ever wondered why there is never a thread here on MM's website specifically to discuss the past of Obama? No, not just the eligibility issue or the birth certificate. His past is generally largely a mystery. Bit's and pieces have emerged, but much is under lock and key.

Should I conclude that few care about his mysterious past?. Or is it that this subject is so off limits that virtually no one, including conservatives, wants to discuss it?

I don't get the reluctance to try to make sense out of who Obama is by looking at who he has been in the past in detail as great as possible.

It matters to me.

Here a copy of an e-mail I just sent to O'Reilly, who also refuses to take a close look at Obama's past, please remember this is an "open" thread, I don't want to get kicked off MM's website for mentioning the unmentionable:

Hi Mr. O'Reilly,

Each day that passes American is being scammed. We have as president a man who is clearly not Constitutionally qualified to be president. The media, including Fox News and talk radio, refuse to utter a word about the massive scam that is obvious to millions of Americans.

If the murky, uncertain past of Obama existed with any other president, the media talking heads would be trying to sort out the truth 24/7. In Obama's case they all appear to be afraid of the truth. Any discussion of Obama's eligibility can only lead to one conclusion....he is not eligible. The solution the media has chosen, through fear and intimidation most likely, is "we just won't talk about it".

How can someone like you, with common-sense and integrity, be coerced into never having a guest on your show to discuss this issue? Joseph Farah from WND was scheduled, but your TV show cancelled him...why?

There is absolutely no way that anyone who carefully researches this subject can conclude anything but that Obama is not eligible.

If you have a different opinion on Obama's eligibility, how about covering it on your show? Millions of Americans would love to see and hear the "proof" that has satisfied you on this issue. The ratings would be through the roof. Of course, in the interest of "fair and balanced", someone from the opposite viewpoint would need to be on the show also.

America has been scammed, punk'd, conned into electing an unconstitutional president. I suppose one could say this was fitting since he doesn't seem to think too highly of the U.S. Constitution.

Fox News is becoming no different than the rest of the media, and that saddens me greatly. If Obama should run for a second term, will his past be blown off as unimportant still again?

There is going to be egg on the collective faces of the complacent media when this scam unravels, and it will.

If Keyes vs. Obama makes it to the discovery stage the truth will be unveiled and the charade will end. If not, there will be other lawsuits and appeals and as the scam appears close to being broken I believe many who have not yet talked will, trying to avoid being forced to talk under oath in court. There are millions of Americans to whom the Constitution still matters.

It you don't believe anything I wrote here there is still no reasonable excuse for not discussing this issue in the media, and more specifically, on The O'Reilly Factor.

Thanks,

Look how quickly he’s reversed some of Bush’s agenda.

Ever notice that the ones who condemn "Bush's agenda" are the same ones that passed his "agenda"? It's like robbing a bank, getting caught and blaming it on someone's suggestion. In politics, today, that's a good defense. That "someone" gets punished and you walk away free and with the cash.
