FLOTUS plays the woman card to sell Obamacare
Here’s the First Lady’s latest video pitch for Obamacare aimed at women:
Nope, still no mention of the mother of Dontae Adams, one of the minority patients on Chicago’s southside shipped out of the University of Chicago Medical Center under the patient-dumping program spearheaded by Mrs. Obama, Valerie Jarrett, and David Axelrod.

There are reportedly 40 Democrats ready to kill Obamacare if the majority refuses to put an amendment banning federally-subsidized abortions on the floor. No doubt they will be attacked by the Left as “anti-woman:”
Rep. Bart Stupak (D.-Mich.) told CNSNews.com yesterday that he has organized a group of “about 40 likeminded Democrats” who will vote to kill the health-care bill if House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D.-Calif.) does not allow a floor vote on his amendment to prohibit federal funds from going to insurance plans that cover abortion.
Under Stupak’s plan, the approximately 40 Democrats in his camp would join with all House Republicans in voting to defeat the special House “rule” that would set the terms for debating and amending the health-care bill on the House floor when it is brought up for a final vote. If a majority of the House does not first vote to approve this rule, the health-care bill itself cannot be brought to the floor.
“We will try to—we, there’s about 40 likeminded Democrats like myself—we’ll try to take down the rule,” Stupak told CNSNews.com. “If all 40 of us vote in a bloc against the rule—because we think the Republicans will join us—we can defeat the rule. The magic number is 218. If we can have 218 votes against the rule, we win.”

What timing! Amazingly, the headline of the Sunday Denver Post yesterday, with a large color photo, shouted the dubious fact that women pay more in health insurance premiums than men.
What a coincidence!
Above is a compelling story that tells another side of the health care debate, namely not all doctors are itching to cut out tonsils and amputating feet. I just wish that our Demagogue-in Chief could also tell the other side of the medical story. Unfortunately, this story would not fit the narrative.

Yesterday on “60 Minutes” they did a piece on David Axelrod and his daughter who has epilepsy. Didn’t really pay attention to it, but I knew all these human interests stories, especially with those connected to administration would start coming out to push for healthcare.
Like I said I didn’t pay attention so I don’t know what the thrust of the Axelrod piece was.
A prostate exam?
BTW I can honestly say my appendix was removed because the doctor got paid per-procedure and he was there anyway.
But of course that doctor was being paid under the socialist medicine system in New Zealand so there was no way I could sue him for performing that extra surgery.
But that probably wouldn’t fit obamas story line.

The entire health”care” bill is a “crock” and they know it. That is why they have to continually push it, every day and 5 times on Sundays. It is a real hard sell and they are losing the sale. I do believe the majority in this country now understand that if Congress forces this obamination on the American people, we will be sunk as a nation. We will go broke, and the plan cannot work! They know it can’t work! And, it is unconstitutional…why isn’t anyone talking about that little inconvenenient truth?

Which reminds me of a story. I knew this medic who was doing a physical for one of those big tough SF types in the army. The SF guy was endlessly going on about how tough he was. Well he had to get a prostate exam. So the medic had a buddy come over queitly and he placed one hand on his shoulder began the exam and had his buddy place his hand on the other shoulder.
I will leave the rest to your imagination.
This is all about seizing 1/6th of the economy and providing a door to control individual liberty. This is the Holy grail for Progressives.
They are going to say and do whatever they think is needed to win. We must have the same mindset.
I really sympathize with the Axelrod’s. This is really sad.
Having said that, if he’s looking for a cure, it would probably come from the US, like the majority of cures have. However, this travesty of a health care bill would pretty much put the stops on any viable research company hoping to find a cure for anything.
Give a guy a spew alert, wouldya? Now I have to mop my monitor to get all the coffee off!
Who pays?

It’s all about universal coverage, and not cost containment. Pull the heartstrings using people in need. But who pays? Cheap health insurance for those with pre-existing conditions. Nice. But who pays?
I wouldn’t count on the Republicans to vote to preserve the Republicans. Never underestimate the stupidity of politicians.

Just this morning, at the Government facility where I work, a man cut his hand. Someone drove him to the medical clinic here, which didn’t open until 8:30 am. The doctor absolutely would not open to take care of that man’s injured hand.
That’s the socialized medicine Duh One has in mind for us.
So now I am to assume David Axelrod and FLOTUS will sign up for ObamaCare? But Little Lady FLOTUS can sure revert to “street girl” (trying to be civil here)-I guess it is her natural state.

What complete BS. Didn’t MO and her husband both have very generous salaries? Even if they had absolutely no insurance, they could have paid their daughters doctors bills without too much pain although they may have had to drop the piano lessons. But I guess that wouldn’t be fair so the First Whiners would still be complaining about having to pay their own bills. In any case, I don’t are about their trip to the emergency room. Stop using your mini-crisis as a pretext to raise my taxes and grow government.
Sebelius, lacking any credible data or hard argument in her favor , resorts to the vague “all too often ….” and other generalities about how young people get coverage that is good until they get sick or woman are paying more and receiving less.
How can anybody fall for this emotional, overwrought garbage? And why does MO think that people can’t follow their dreams unless they have health insurance that covers every single cough or sneeze they may have without costing them a penny. Are people that stupid that they can be swayed by this whiny, empty presentation to give up a little more of their freedom for the illusion of stability? If they are they deserve everything that follows. And it it won’t be stability but stagnation.
I can’t believe it from someone who started a program to dump patients who could not pay at University of Chicago hospital.
By the time a Federal Beurocracy is done, there will be some excuse for everyone to pay 34% to 40% of income.
As the government is half as efficient as the private sector, the cost will ultimatly double from todays 17% to 20% level.
Only a complete fool cannot see this comming.
I’m happy to say NO, I did not.
But you see this will be a boom to the bus manufacturers and bus companies and road building-a real stimulus. Get sick, get injured and they put you on a bus that loops the country continuously only stopping to pick up new sickos and dump the dead at Valerie Jarrett’s new cemetery company in Chicago.

I didn’t need to see that this morning…I must be masochistic…I was sitting here listening to the global warming fall on the roof and for some unknown reason I clicked the go button to the video. Wasn’t but till she said 8 years ago bla bla bla that I had to turn it off before I dirtied my key board with illness. I should have known better, I get that same feeling every time I see pictures or hear the voices of those two frauds.
