   Too many elected official have spent the taxes they collected as if there were no end to the funds. None of these people can think in terms of a budget because any short fall called for increasing the taxes on something. Actually cutting pork out the budget means lost votes in the next election. This recession has become a huge reality check for all levels of government. None of the elected officials ever consider how hard the public works to earn the money in the first place.
