Just so you know, not everyone in Chicago are liberal-democrats. Some of us even love Michelle Malkin and Fox News! It’s the tools in the city that keep voting in a self destructive way. (That probably includes the dead and fictional characters.) Vote early, vote often. Daley’s had too much power for too long – we need term limits for our mayor. We’re just waiting for Crook (Cook) county president, Todd Stroger to get on Michelle’s radar…

I think this is more of a stab in the dark for Daley than you think. Losing the Olympics was major egg on his face. I don’t feel he has the pull prior to losing the Games. Also, there are two other issues involved. First,Chicago provides the water for much of the suburbs, who may have a say in this matter. Secondly, Gov. Quinn, who is quite populist, is pro-utility regulation.
