Alan Grayson, Obama’s paragon of congressional virtue

By Michelle Malkin  •  October 27, 2009 04:36 PM

The White House etiquette czar gives its seal of approval to Alan Grayson’s verbal diarrhea. President Obama was in Florida last night and praised Democrat Rep. Alan Grayson as an “outstanding member of Congress.”

But even Democrats are embarrassed by Grayson’s crude rhetoric:

Republicans and Democrats slammed Rep. Alan Grayson (D-Fla.) for calling Linda Robertson, an adviser to Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke, a “K Street whore” in a month-old radio interview that circulated on Capitol Hill Monday night.

“There’s no call for that language. No call for it. That’s absurd. If he was standing here now, I’d say that to him,” said Rep. Bill Pascrell (D-N.J.)

“He’s out of control,” added Washington Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers, who is vice chairwoman of the House Republican Conference.

The remarks are the latest to surface in a string of controversial statements by Grayson, who said on the Alex Jones radio show that he believes Robertson, a former Enron lobbyist, is not qualified to pass judgment on intricate financial matters.

It’s clear that his colleagues’ opinion of him has suffered.

“Is this news to you that this guy’s one fry short of a Happy Meal?” asked Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-N.Y.)

Well, it shouldn’t be news.

So, either Obama is inexplicably clueless or he really does give Alan Grayson’s potty mouth two thumbs up.

Long live civility!

couldn’t agree more, such filth and trash coming from a supposed representative of the people. All those folks that voted for this idiot should be ashamed to say so…your right, he does fit in nicely with this fraud of an administration.

Yes, Rep Grayson has been snarky, tasteless and even mean.

But, to take anyone to task for not knowing about a previously unknown month old comment is a stretch.

And, please do not take me to task for not knowing there is an etiqutte czar. I know there is an Usher and Protocol Officer, among other support personnel in every White House. But, Special Advisor to the President for Etiquette? Who knew?

Shortly after he started making the legs of the HuffPo and DailyKos kooks tingle, Grayson looked in the mirror and decided his name was “Alan Olbermann.” He now believes he can say any crazy thing that pops into his head, since it gets him more airtime on MSNBC and more campaign cash from the moonbats (not that he, a millionaire, needs it).

Central Florida is disgusted by him and, hopefully, will get rid of him and his other do-nothing Democrat colleage, Suzanne Kosmas, who at least knows to keep her yap shut.

Obama just happened to be in Jacksonville, Florida, so he stopped in to talk (what else is new?) to the aviators at NAS Jacksonville.(Never let a photo-op go to waste.) While there he felt that it was prudent to attend a fundraiser for the Democrats, taking time to praise their POS Congressman, Grayson. (Actually, the real reason for the trip WAS to raise money, NOT praise the Navy.)

Obama really loves campaigning…this was his 26th fundraiser in 9 months. (Bush 43 had 6 his first year, and Clinton had 5 his first year.) Need we any more proof of where his priorities lie, I mean besides playing golf 23 times in 9 months, partying at the mansion, shopping, playing basketball, and globe trotting?

Remember how GW was villified for his time on the links, “while American troops were in harm’s way?”

He, of all people, should understand that when Obama gives his seal of approval to Big Al, he’s a made man. And you don’t ever take sides with anyone against the Family. Ever.
