Grooming the next generation of entitlement-seekers

By Michelle Malkin  •  October 27, 2009 09:52 PM

Organizing for America, Team Obama & the DNC’s perpetual campaign arm, is holding a health reform video contest.

They’ve chosen 20 finalists. Continuing the human stage prop theme plied by the White House over the past year and trotted out again by Michelle Obama and David Axelrod over the weekend, many of the video finalists use children to shill for Obamacare.

Here’s a disturbing glimpse of the future — featuring the next generation of government entitlement-seekers declaring “I deserve health care” (hat tip - Right Wing Sparkle)

And a few of the other video finalists that use young ‘uns:

Parents, please inoculate your children from this culture of dependency. Our fiscal health depends on it.

Recently I read a very astute observation: socialized medicine works out quite well for the young. That is, most of the horror stories you will hear regarding SM will pertain to older patients. And it is true that the bulk of medical expense are incurred by old people. If they were eliminated, so to speak, from the picture things would work out quite well for the young.

Guess which group, young or old, is strongly in Obama’s camp? And the Obamaoists are determined to keep it that way.

Worst thing about it is it could very well work! Remember what C.W. Fields said of kids and dogs? I recall “Get Smart” on TV used to play this line when Smart tried to con his way out of the villain’s trap who’d snicker; “That’s not gonna save you! It’s Silly! It’s Childish! It’s Inane!” (then Smart escapes and villain pouts) “–And it works!”)

Seriously, folks — if current electoral trends continue, we someday might see ads like this with homeless children demanding “Universal housing NOW!”

Behind the times! This little notion’s been festering here a LONG time and is deep in the heart of most ALL black/brown “activists”. Health Care’s just the warm-up! Look for UH to spring forth in Obama’s second term — bet!

I think back to what it would have been like here nearly 350 years ago when my ancestors first settled in what would become Virginia and basically up to the mid 1900s. People were tough and knew it took hard work and will power to survive. Now, the gene pool is watered down to this… masses of ignorant people who wouldn’t know the first thing about surviving on their own. I now understand the drive of my ancestors that made them want to get on those boats to sail to a new world to start a new life. I wish there was a new continent out there to be discovered to escape what is here now.

Decidedly not! They are children so let them be children. Most of these kids are not even aware of what they were told to say. They just graduated the reeducation camps because they said it best.

This woman in the White House is lowering the curtain and showing off her real self by using indoctrinated kids who don’t have a clue what they’re talking about to push her Communist agenda.

I noticed that the “I deserve” folk they’re pushing forward now don’t need to wear moo-moo’s, probably bathe more that once a week, are under 100 lbs, and don’t sit around on their front porches cursing at cops, and actually leave home for other than to go to collect the food stamps and welfare checks, and show the intelligence of at least a third or fourth grade education. And, oh yeah, they speak good English.

In my view, Rick Berman was assimilated by the Borgistic Big Government Collective. This was very visible in their lib-themes during the latter seasons.

Yes, hit everyone with an emotional message that is utterly devoid of any rational substance–which is the essence of idiotic liberalism. What someone “deserves” cannot have anything to do with what one provides as a service at their own will.

What happens when what they say is their “right” disappears because no one wants to be enslaved by the state in order to serve a whiny, dependent-minded collective, who only exist because they have their hands out? Will the state force people to serve as medical-providers in order to provide this “deserved” service? And, what will that do to the quality of this service?

Today’s liberal only functions as a parasite and a destroyer of all that provides quality and productivity. Unfortunately, I don’t see the cancer of liberalism being eradicated until they’ve destroyed this country and have drove us to the point of starvation and utter chaos. Perhaps a we can see a re-emancipation and re-establishment of freedom and liberty occurring as a Phoenix rising from the ashes, but destruction must occur before we can have a reconstruction of the nation.

    Very telling, isn’t it?

I’m going to try to get my 10 year old, 5th grade daughter to watch it. She already understands socialism, in that I explained a little parable to her. She makes the top (or second to the top) grades in her class. I asked her, wouldn’t it be nice if the kids that get a D or an F could have a better grade. She said yes, naturally. I asked, well…how about if the teacher takes some off of her grade, and the grades of the other smart kids, and give it to them. She said “No. I worked hard for my grade. Harder than they did. They need to work like I do”

I explained to her that in socialism, the government will make sure that nobody fails, but that means that they’ll also skim off the top from those who succeed.

When we’re in the car in the evenings, she wants me to turn it to Mark Levin now. Seriously.

Their scheme is simple – if they can force their grandchildren to pay for premiums for services they don’t want, don’t need and won’t use for decades, that money can then be used by the insurance companies to subsidize the cost of insurance to the aging Boomers. In effect, the grandchildren will be paying for their irresponsible grandparents’ while themselves being deprived of the money they would otherwise use to further their education, start a business or make a down payment on their first home (if they can get a loan from the banks their grandparents destroyed. )

Make no mistake about it, this generation is a generation of thieves and the people who stole their parents and their children’s money to make their own lives cushier are at it again. This time the target is their grandchildren.

Saw this yesterday at Big Hollywood.

We could achieve the objective of making health care affordable for everyone except the indigent (for whom there is Medicaid) by using non-deficit inducing, open market solutions and tort reform. But no, that’s not what they are about. They want to make everybody the government’s slave, bankrupt the country and force a complete “transformation” of America into a socialist/communist state. Hope those kids don’t want affordable energy, and I hope their folks don’t work for a coal company, ’cause they are next in the cross-hairs of this statist, un-American regime that people stupidly voted into power last year. Hope and Change my sorry …

I heard on the radio that the WSJ conducted a poll revealing opposition to the government plan, a.k.a., “public” option, is weakening – a fact I find hard to believe, given the negative impact such reform legislation will have on our economy and the precarious situation in which it will place our families’ health.

Old-fashioned, a bit of propaganda, but enjoyable.

Where is all of the refutation from the Obama minions out there who feel (they couldn’t think if their lives depended upon it) like “health care” should be done the way the lefties want it? I mean, this stuff should be right up their alley. Ads like this is supposed to crush the opposition to what should be theirs by right. They ought to own this issue, as Obama keeps telling ‘em about how WE are the cretins and brain-dead louts.

If anything, these ads merely affirm the vacancy of the left’s position, and anyone with a brain left in the country ought to mash it out of the park. It seems as if they get stupider by the day.

I tried to comment on the YouTube Video 1 but it said my comment was pending “approval”. Guess that explains the only
positive comments. Also voting on the video was disabled too. Here’s what I tried to say:

“I wonder what would happen if a conservative gathered up some innocent kids, gave them scripts, and used them to promote a political agenda? When Sarah Palin brought her baby on stage the leftists screamed about using kids as “props”. You are definitely guilty of that.

I would ask the kids that if their parents are responsible for feeding , clothing , and educating them, why are their parents so irresponsible as to not provide them with healthcare? Why is it suddenly the governments job to provide healthcare for THEIR children at taxpayer expense? “

I’m reminded of some lyrics by the Newsboys: “When we get what we don’t deserve, that’s a real good thing. When we don’t get what we deserve, that’s a real good thing.”

Also, I can live longer without healthcare (aka insurance) than I can live without food so where in the hell is my free government food?!?!?!

Children are the responsibility of their parents, not the government and the taxpayer. No tickee, no washee. Healthcare is not a right. We have Medicaid for those in need. The rest have to go to work. I laugh at that woman who said she wouldn’t have to worry anymore about her mortgage or car payment when Obama was elected. This whole program of Obama’s is to pay for the undeserving poor who suck the teat of the entitlement cow.
