Grooming the next generation of entitlement-seekers

Organizing for America, Team Obama & the DNC’s perpetual campaign arm, is holding a health reform video contest.
They’ve chosen 20 finalists. Continuing the human stage prop theme plied by the White House over the past year and trotted out again by Michelle Obama and David Axelrod over the weekend, many of the video finalists use children to shill for Obamacare.
Here’s a disturbing glimpse of the future — featuring the next generation of government entitlement-seekers declaring “I deserve health care” (hat tip - Right Wing Sparkle)
And a few of the other video finalists that use young ‘uns:
Parents, please inoculate your children from this culture of dependency. Our fiscal health depends on it.

You deserve to go to bed with no supper you little twerp.
Worst of the three: The “boo boo” one. “Isn’t it time we start acting like adults?” Uh, YEAH! So why did you create a childish, simplistic, kindergartenish portrayal of the issue?
Seriously, folks — if current electoral trends continue, we someday might see ads like this with homeless children demanding “Universal housing NOW!”
Organizing for America ~
Was that group linked to Nat’l. Endowment for the Arts…the group caught on the phone conf. w/ WH to begin organizing propaganda to promote O’s agenda???
Just asking?
The Dems are at it again … Masters Of The Media they are.
I’ve given up on Steele to come to the camera/microphone for some “in your face” moments.
Some day, the Repub/Conservs will “use” the media to their advantage.
I deserve my 5th Amendment right to not be deprived of my liberty or property (money) without due process of law.
*Growing more tired day by day of these waste of skin sorry people looking for the eternal free lunch; It certainly doesn’t run in this family; Hard work has its’ rewards, like retiring with dignity; Try a PSA with that theme.
Wow, if you know you’re going to break your leg in three years, your parents should start saving money NOW so they won’t have to sell their house.
Uuhhh … I think you might want to re-read the 5th Amendment, Williams!
Recently I read a very astute observation: socialized medicine works out quite well for the young. That is, most of the horror stories you will hear regarding SM will pertain to older patients. And it is true that the bulk of medical expense are incurred by old people. If they were eliminated, so to speak, from the picture things would work out quite well for the young.
Guess which group, young or old, is strongly in Obama’s camp? And the Obamaoists are determined to keep it that way.
“Entitlement People” will be the death of this Country.
It doesn’t take much skill to stand in line for a handout. Since the public schools don’t teach the way they used to, the youth have no choice be to be seduced by obamabucks and government hand outs. What pathetic parents these losers have.
I started typing several responses, but then when I read them, my conscience wouldn’t let me. This really disturbs me how people expect the government to give them everything they want… first by taking it away from others.
I think back to what it would have been like here nearly 350 years ago when my ancestors first settled in what would become Virginia and basically up to the mid 1900s. People were tough and knew it took hard work and will power to survive. Now, the gene pool is watered down to this… masses of ignorant people who wouldn’t know the first thing about surviving on their own. I now understand the drive of my ancestors that made them want to get on those boats to sail to a new world to start a new life. I wish there was a new continent out there to be discovered to escape what is here now.
Shhh, don’t let it out of the bag they are going to be the ones still paying for this Obamanation. Fantacy worlds are good when you’re 10, 14, or 20. What a let down it will be when they turn 40 and will never have known freedom/liberty/or self determination. Nanny state = loss of all the above.
Post the parents names, addresses and phone numbers online. I would like to know who these pathetic sperm, egg and democrat donors are and why do they exploit their own children. In cases of television fame, it never comes down to the best… it comes down to who you know. The winner has parents well connected with the DNC. Nothing with the democrat party is coincidental. We all know the winner will have millionaire parents hiding their money in offshore accounts, far away from the now exposed Swiss bank accounts.
A friend of mine passed this 1948 cartoon on to me. I thought it was quite appropiate for today:
http://nationaljuggernaut.blogspot.com/2009/09/this-cartoon-seemed-far-fetched-in-1948.html
Old-fashioned, a bit of propaganda, but enjoyable.
If they know that these things will happen – I want to know their pick for the Super Bowl – there’s money to be made.
There was a Star Trek-Next Generation episode where all people from a planet had to commit suicide at a certain age (60 or 65, can’t remember that good) to make way for the young. Makes you wonder.
Well, the crux is that these messages are so seductively compassionate and heart-tugging, just what kind of ammo could conservatives use to counter such without looking — well, heartless to say the least??

Out of curiosity, what has the kid done to “deserve” healthcare?
Everyone needs to be told “Contrary to belief, no one owes you anything.”
Decidedly not! They are children so let them be children. Most of these kids are not even aware of what they were told to say. They just graduated the reeducation camps because they said it best.
This woman in the White House is lowering the curtain and showing off her real self by using indoctrinated kids who don’t have a clue what they’re talking about to push her Communist agenda.
I noticed that the “I deserve” folk they’re pushing forward now don’t need to wear moo-moo’s, probably bathe more that once a week, are under 100 lbs, and don’t sit around on their front porches cursing at cops, and actually leave home for other than to go to collect the food stamps and welfare checks, and show the intelligence of at least a third or fourth grade education. And, oh yeah, they speak good English.
Pathetic.
Yeah? Well, you deserve food, a roof over your head, heat in the winter, clothes, etc.. You plan on Obama giving you all that too? You certainly deserve that more than “healthcare”. But, not to worry. The government will get to that, once this “test case of socialism” is passed. Once the door is open, they’ll get around to the above, without delay. The price? 1984.
It is good that the children took off their Young Pioneer red scarfs before the videos were filmed.
On October 27th, 2009 at 10:26 pm,
You should try reading it, Bruce.
At whose expense? If you want to force someone else to pay for it you’re a thief. If you think you deserve it then earn it.
Dem constituents… sing it out!!!!!
Oh-Bama won’t you buy me a Mercedes Benz.
My friends all drive porsches, I must make amends.
Hardly worked all my lifetime, with help from the Feds.
So oh-Bama won’t you buy me a Mercedes Benz.
Oh-Bama won’t you buy me a big screen TV.
Dialing for dollars is trying to find me.
I wait for delivery each day until 3.
So oh-Bama won’t you buy me a big screen TV.
Oh-Bama won’t you buy me a night on the town.
I’m counting on you Prez, please don’t let me down.
Prove that you love me and buy the next round.
Oh-Bama won’t you buy me a night on the town.

Wow, what’s it cost to treat a broken leg? I assumed a couple thousand dollars. That kid’s going to lose his home over that? My guess is the doc & hospital would work out a payment plan. I guess if I pay for his broken leg though, he and his dad can get a new playstation so they’ll have something to do while jr. recovers.
Hey CW!
I deserve to get back the money I lost in the stock market. I deserve to get back my 6 years with my first wife. I deserve to get back all of those minutes I was forced to see “lgm” on this blog.
Right now, I deserve some sleep but I am up watching idiots wanting free things that cost too much. Maybe I deserve this time back too?
I just want everything. Gimme!
/sarc off
I guess I’ve just been working too long to retire soon. And now I probably can’t.
Jake
Someone should tell these kids about the Shriners. Or Children’s Miracle Network. Sheesh. Yes, let’s bankrupt the whole country and enslave ourselves to our country’s debtors because someone’s dopey kid broke his leg playing on a playground that hasn’t been paid for yet.
Wife and I are up watching the military channel…sniper school. Thank goodness, only those who cut it, pass. Not the “I deserve it” bunch. I wonder, with these dumbed-down, indoctrinated kids coming out, what will happen to our military schools, like this one, our seal training, rangers, and SF schools. 10-Bravo-40 school was not easy at all.
What the three little children do not know, apparently, is that they are covered under the latest SCHIP expansion until those little darlings are 25 year old children.
Does anyone expect any of them to get enough of an education from the failed union managed school systems to learn this simple fact?
“There was a Star Trek-Next Generation episode where all people from a planet had to commit suicide at a certain age (60 or 65, can’t remember that good) to make way for the young. Makes you wonder.”
This was based on ‘Logan’s Run’. There have been several SciFi stories written about this. Too bad it is not SciFi any more in some parts of the world, and soon here if we let it…
If you deserve health care so much.
Tell your parents to GET OFF THEIR FAT ASS AND GET HEALTH INSURANCE.
Most people who don’t have health insurance – CHOOSE OF THEIR OWN FREE WELL TO GO WITHOUT HEALTH INSURANCE.
There is only one thing that humans deserve: death. The fact that God loves us and has, at unthinkable personal cost, made a way for us to live with Him forever should make all of us fall on our face and thank Him! I’m inclined to believe that those who shake their fist at Heaven, demanding their “rights”, will, in the end, not enter Heaven and be denied their haughty lustings.
Hey, see-dubya! Nice to hear from you again!
I’d get kicked off if I said what I think about the “gimme people.” I’ll just turn out the lights and go to sleep now.
I was a nerdy Star Trek fan from the beginning. My friends made fun of me because I watched Star Trek on Friday nights (just after “Tarzan”, remember?)
TNG was fantastic, at least starting toward mid-season. The first few episodes were not too good. Eventually, they got too Utopia-istic for my tastes. In my view, Rick Berman was assimilated by the Borgistic Big Government Collective. This was very visible in their lib-themes during the latter seasons.
Gimme some of that “Obama Money”! You know, from his stash!
Yes, hit everyone with an emotional message that is utterly devoid of any rational substance–which is the essence of idiotic liberalism. What someone “deserves” cannot have anything to do with what one provides as a service at their own will.
What happens when what they say is their “right” disappears because no one wants to be enslaved by the state in order to serve a whiny, dependent-minded collective, who only exist because they have their hands out? Will the state force people to serve as medical-providers in order to provide this “deserved” service? And, what will that do to the quality of this service?
Today’s liberal only functions as a parasite and a destroyer of all that provides quality and productivity. Unfortunately, I don’t see the cancer of liberalism being eradicated until they’ve destroyed this country and have drove us to the point of starvation and utter chaos. Perhaps a we can see a re-emancipation and re-establishment of freedom and liberty occurring as a Phoenix rising from the ashes, but destruction must occur before we can have a reconstruction of the nation.
Very telling, isn’t it?
I’m going to try to get my 10 year old, 5th grade daughter to watch it. She already understands socialism, in that I explained a little parable to her. She makes the top (or second to the top) grades in her class. I asked her, wouldn’t it be nice if the kids that get a D or an F could have a better grade. She said yes, naturally. I asked, well…how about if the teacher takes some off of her grade, and the grades of the other smart kids, and give it to them. She said “No. I worked hard for my grade. Harder than they did. They need to work like I do”
I explained to her that in socialism, the government will make sure that nobody fails, but that means that they’ll also skim off the top from those who succeed.
When we’re in the car in the evenings, she wants me to turn it to Mark Levin now. Seriously.
Sorry sweetie but you only deserve what you’re willing to work for (or rather what your parents are willing to work for since you’re still a minor).
I don’t think this will play well with seniors.
I’m thinking these ads are ineffective at best and might even backfire.
I should explain.
Seniors know that these kids are texting with their cell phones, watching big screen televisions (while they struggle with their new digital converter), and playing Wii.
Many seniors continue to sacrifice in order to keep some savings. They see the opposite with this generation.
My thoughts exactly, but witout te twerp part.
My uncle John made his kids cut their own switch. Mom used a razor strop on us when we got out of line. We were all told it was wrong to address adults before spoken to.
These kids are liberal tools.
Hell I deserve to be re-reimbursed all my tax money invested/spent on the War on Poverty. The only ROI for this was more ” we deserve more” while we do not contribute anything.
A Proverb (paraphrased):
If a man will not work, let him not eat either.
above was mentioned the RIGHT to a free home. uh that happened in the johnson era, which is how we got gubmint housing projects under HUD. then was the right for our seniors to get free health care under medicare. then was the right for our poor to get free health care under medicaid. now we have to revisit each of those great society programs, because they have grown like weeds and are bankrupting the country. so the cure is universal medicare/medicaid, to cover all the millions receiving food stamps, gubmint housing, tax credits because they pay no tax but need child care so they can watch guiding light without those pesky kids making all that noise, and schools which feed breakfast and lunch instead of teaching these kids values and an education which might get them out of this self fulfilling prophecy. the nanny state, no, the cradle to grave welfare state on the backs of american business and american producers. can you say atlas shrugged.
The second video illustrates the hypocritical point about this whole debate.
The girl goes to the ‘doctor’ to help her sick friend get well. The DOCTOR won’t help. . . why? Because the DOCTOR won’t get paid.
She can get care without insurance, but she’ll have to pay for it. It isn’t the insurance company’s fault that she can’t get care from that office. That office simply charges too much.
I want it for free, and I want it NOW. Don’t make me wait, My Crown Vic is double parked out front, and I got me things to do today (get home and watch Oprah on the 50 inch flatscreen).
I Want it Now
Gooses, geeses
I want my geese to lay gold eggs for easter
At least a hundred a day
And by the way
I want a feast
I want a bean feast
Cream buns and doughnuts
And fruitcake with no nuts
So good you could go nuts
No, now
I want a ball
I want a party
Pink macaroons
And a million balloons
And performing baboons and
Give it to me now
I want the world
I want the whole world
I want to lock it
All up in my pocket
It’s my bar of chocolate
Give it to me now
I want today
I want tomorrow
I want to wear ‘em
Like braids in my hair and
I don’t want to share ‘em
I want a party with roomfuls of laughter
Ten thousand tons of ice cream
And if I don’t get the things I am after
I’m going to scream
I want the works
I want the whole works
Presents and prizes
And sweets and surprises
Of all shapes and sizes
And now
Don’t care how, I want it now
Don’t care how, I want it now
AAAAHHHH the democrats inevitable use of the POOR POOR children again! I think a tear came to my eye LOL!
Just think these kids will be crying when they hit 20 and realize like SS they will be paying for it! LMAO! Sorry Johnny grandma needs a hip replacement!
http://bighollywood.breitbart.com/esayet/2009/10/27/the-me-generation-a-generation-of-thieves/#more-251118
Saw this yesterday at Big Hollywood.
The booboo one was really creepy!
I agree, they DO deserve health care, but paid for by themselves or their parents through affordable, private health insurance operating in the open market. As usual, the Marxist Democrats (that’s nearly all of them) are giving us a false choice — state-run health care (any public or “consumer” option) or nothing. Bull crap. We could achieve the objective of making health care affordable for everyone except the indigent (for whom there is Medicaid) by using non-deficit inducing, open market solutions and tort reform. But no, that’s not what they are about. They want to make everybody the government’s slave, bankrupt the country and force a complete “transformation” of America into a socialist/communist state. Hope those kids don’t want affordable energy, and I hope their folks don’t work for a coal company, ’cause they are next in the cross-hairs of this statist, un-American regime that people stupidly voted into power last year. Hope and Change my sorry …
I heard on the radio that the WSJ conducted a poll revealing opposition to the government plan, a.k.a., “public” option, is weakening – a fact I find hard to believe, given the negative impact such reform legislation will have on our economy and the precarious situation in which it will place our families’ health.
Obamabots’ golden ticket.
Best line was at 3:44
Where is all of the refutation from the Obama minions out there who feel (they couldn’t think if their lives depended upon it) like “health care” should be done the way the lefties want it? I mean, this stuff should be right up their alley. Ads like this is supposed to crush the opposition to what should be theirs by right. They ought to own this issue, as Obama keeps telling ‘em about how WE are the cretins and brain-dead louts.
If anything, these ads merely affirm the vacancy of the left’s position, and anyone with a brain left in the country ought to mash it out of the park. It seems as if they get stupider by the day.
I tried to comment on the YouTube Video 1 but it said my comment was pending “approval”. Guess that explains the only
positive comments. Also voting on the video was disabled too. Here’s what I tried to say:
“I wonder what would happen if a conservative gathered up some innocent kids, gave them scripts, and used them to promote a political agenda? When Sarah Palin brought her baby on stage the leftists screamed about using kids as “props”. You are definitely guilty of that.
I would ask the kids that if their parents are responsible for feeding , clothing , and educating them, why are their parents so irresponsible as to not provide them with healthcare? Why is it suddenly the governments job to provide healthcare for THEIR children at taxpayer expense? “
I’m reminded of some lyrics by the Newsboys: “When we get what we don’t deserve, that’s a real good thing. When we don’t get what we deserve, that’s a real good thing.”
Also, I can live longer without healthcare (aka insurance) than I can live without food so where in the hell is my free government food?!?!?!
Children are the responsibility of their parents, not the government and the taxpayer. No tickee, no washee. Healthcare is not a right. We have Medicaid for those in need. The rest have to go to work. I laugh at that woman who said she wouldn’t have to worry anymore about her mortgage or car payment when Obama was elected. This whole program of Obama’s is to pay for the undeserving poor who suck the teat of the entitlement cow.
Isn’t SCHIP supposed to take care of all the uninsured children?
I deserve Health Care!
I deserve Food!
I deserve A Place To Live!
I deserve Utilities!
I deserve Toilet Paper!
I deserve Beer!
I deserve a Wide Screen Flat Panel LCD (50″, a nice brand, like Samsung maybe, or…)!
Culture of Entitlement. Where does it end?
I also noted that the ratings were disabled. So far they only have 7 butt kissing comments, I figure because all the others spoke truth to the creator and made him cry.
Do any of the young people who are for Obamacare now realize that someday they are going to be old?Just wondering.
At the end of the barrel of a loaded gun.
“I say we take off and nuke the entire site from orbit. It’s the only way to be sure. “
I;m sure the MSM, DNC, MediaMatters, etc would care if the GOP used kids with scripts to promote a anti-Dem/Socalist/Obama message.

Shhhh…(you’re not supposed to mention that!)
Ahem…NEED MORE WELFARE!!!
Hudson: F@#$%n’ A…
Burke: Ho-ho-hold on, hold on one second. This installation has a substantial dollar value attached to it.
Ripley: They can *bill* me.
it amazes me people really buy that crap, then again look what we have for a president.
Errah, well, finish it . . . . .
I deserve Healthcare, I am a Liberal Democrat!
