I take offense at your use of the description “uprising of the lower ranks of the GOP”.
While not in a personal sense but from a full frontal Constitutional understanding:
They work for ME, WE and US.
If that does not apply so be it.

Your argument would stand if the GOP agreed with your sentiment of them working for you and us.

They do not, and you are a fool to follow them, as they are headed into the abyss.

Why do we say “coup d’etat” instead of “Putsch” or “Staatsstreich?” The Russian phrase, “Государственный переворот,” just doesn’t cut it though…

The GOP seems to think they can “win” by become Democrats. When you start defining “winning” as fighting to implement your opponent’s platform I am pretty sure you have lost…

Oddly enough, the GOP “leadership” doesn’t seem to get it.

We have the same thing happening in CO as in NY- the GOP put up a squish, Norton, as ‘their’ candidate; even tho she voted for the largest tax increase in state history.

The ONLY true Conservative candidate in CO is Tidwell- he’s pushing hard for the same ‘reforms’ and ideals as Conservatives should. This battle here will end up similar- GO TIDWELL!
