This has been a costly lesson. But along with the sterling examples (via actions — not utterances, of course…) of Sphincter (Idiot-PA), Snowe-Cow, Newt Gingrich (Idiot-Ga), Miss Lindsey Graham (Idiot-SC), House Minority Leader John Boehner (DUH-Ohio), and of course the conductor of the two-face express John McCain (McCain-MSM) we see where the sympathies and ideology of RINOs and DIABLOs really are. Not with the Citizen, but with The New Royalty.

The Progressives are afraid, and it has made them panic -- which is why Scuzzy officially supported the Obama-flavored candidate when she saw the chances of digging her claws into the power-pie vanish. She vomitted her support on her ideological cousin, Owens. This tells us the hierarchy of desires these squishies have, where their loyalties are: Power for themselves 1st, the Progressive Tyranny 2nd. In my opinion, this exposure has made it worth the cost of admission.

We can now discount the “noseholders” as the agents provocateurs they actually are.... The same needs to be said of those who mis-characterize our efforts on the blogs. Their purpose is to nibble away our efforts, steal our time and resources, and wedge between us. Like army ants, they need no direct communication, they simply know the goal group-think their efforts. The time it is easiest to detect these ants is when they constantly misconstrue others postings, attacking and belittling Conservs/Libertares and our values. There are a few on this board, and doubtless they'll poke fun at me, Alinsky-ing up MM's board. Ridicule was one of his favorite weapons, and their small, underdeveloped and immature minds cannot frame an argument in any other terms. Try a cogent well thought out argument with them, and listen to the snide sneering start.

We need to just ignore these know-nothings after it is obvious that they are simply agents provocateurs for the Progressive Cause. Then never again respond to any futher attempts at baiting us!

In my case, my grandson setup a "blog reader" for me to make reading blogs easier. When that when I click on a poster's name, a context menu has a few choices, one of which is "ignore postings by this poster". I use it whenever I see a poster who twists others posts. There are a lot of posters here who I never see. It helps my bloodpressure. [grin]

Also, there is another way We can tell those who, knowingly or not, are working for the other side:
Those who spout Big Tent-ism, quoting Reagan in part while forgetting the rest of the speech (where RR invited those unchangeable Progressives to leave the party…) {hear THAT, sNewt!!} are either so dense as to be a lost cause or dishonest and willful in their sympathies to those who want to destroy this country.
Those who put "party over principle", those LOTE voters -- who gave us Progressive's liegeman for the Republican candidate in the last election, those who think it a kindness to hang a man slowly, those who argue we need to Progress, and leave behind our narrow Constitutional view of government.

If these things were true, if the Citizenry had really left the concept of our Republic behind and wanted to be a Mommy-State papoose, President Cucaracha wouldn't be running full-bore to obtain complete control of all information conduits.

I no longer have patience for those who claim that "we need to moderate", “we need to just get along” — you don’t “get along” with a house fire, you put it out!

And Our House, Our Country, Our Republic, is on fire! The "Transformational Change" that Cockroach wants is the carbonized hulk of our American Society and Culture! There are video clips aplenty where his minions say so, in almost so many words!

Folks! As I said, Our House is ablaze! We need to put it out: We need to put them out! — so far out of office that their Great-grandchildren will blanch at the mention of these next two elections!

I don’t believe that it is too late to use the Constitutional Methods to correct our course, but the time given us is fleeing on the flutter of the "O"-ssiah's wings and the flash of "Shine" off his halo! That "too late" time is not to far off if the Citizenry doesn’t awaken.

But reading the blogs, watching the news, and listening to people as I travel, I hear things. It does seem that the Citizens are rubbing the sleep out of their collective eyes… and that comforts me.

The lesson in all of this is that political parties are money-hungry enterprises who exist to take gobs of ca$h from whoever is willing to hand it out. Time to take the trunk off that upside-down elephant and replace it with a R(H)INO horn!

The Washington political class is largely concerned with the concept of electability. Unfortunately their definition of electability is strongly shaped by the dead tree/vacuum tube media in New York and DC. The opinions of the party base get short shrift in this equation.

This is a major reason why I will not donate to the national GOP any more. If the party elite care more about what the alphabet network elites think than what the base thinks, then SCREW 'EM!!!

"Last month, I spotlighted Republicans in Illinois who continue to take gobs of money from ACORN’s alter ego, the SEIU."

Your average whore will lay down and spread her legs for anybody willing to pay the fee. That's what these politicians have become.... whores.

Frankly, I am laughing at the idiots "running" the GOP. Spineless and utterly corrupt is hardly a winning platform. They have all sold their souls and betrayed their oath of office for short-term, self-serving gain.

I said it at the last election and I will say it again:

I do not owe any party or candidate my support and/or vote. It is up to them to earn my support and/or vote.

When the republican party decides that they want my support or vote again, they will have to earn it again. It's up to them.

Here is a simple reminder...ANY politician, regardless of party affiliation, that claims to be a "moderate," is actually a liberal. No ifs, ands, or buts....

The Big Tent mentality started years ago to make the Republican Party more inclusive, only served as a wedge for liberals to infiltrate the party in order to get elected in conservative districts.

Remember how we got here...Vote only for conservative candidates, or change party's. It is just that simple.

No more RINO's or RepubliCONS. No more professional politicians getting rich on the backs of the American Taxpayer. No more "big tent" C**P where Republicans accept ABORTION (not "choice"), big spending, ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION AMNESTY (not "undocumented immigrants"), etc.
***
President Ronald Reagan understood that only a return to honesty and traditional conservative values could win. He couldn't turn back the tide in 1976--but after four years of Jimmy Carter he did so bigtime in 1980.

SARAH'CUDA for POTUS, JOHN BOLTON for VP in 2012. Vote these clowns out.

How do you tell the difference between Democrat or Republican leaders?............You can't. This whole Republican debacle of endorsing Scozza what's her name and now ACORN is disgusting. I feel betrayed and ain't gonna take it any more. Rush and all declare that a third party will be bad. I think it's the only option left and let's rally behind Sarah... A true leader, true to our and her ideals! GO SARAH!

I find the travails of the GOP mildly amusing since I no longer consider myself a Republican and no longer believe anything any of them say.

Once you realize they are lying to you all the time it is quite refreshing. The fact that Scozzafava flung manure all over the GOP doesn't bother me at all. In fact, she was doing it for years before this and they knew it and still practically begged her to do so while paying for the privilege. The only difference is this time, she flung the manure before she got to Washington, DC unlike Specter, et al.

learning-challenged party elites:
mmm, not exactly the way I might put it but that works. But there are
*A-Rods
*A frames
*Apexes
*learning-challenged party elites

And if the Liberals DO gut shoot the RINOs - what is the downside? Expel, at least marginalize, the RINOs, actually STAND for something, make your message clear and I dare say the tent will get bigger. Literally millions of people are sitting on their hands with no place to go. The Tea Parties were the first political function for some in years. "Moderation" in such times is like warm beer-fine for Europeans but rejected by adults.

Nowadays, the money's on the left. As much as I hate quoting Grayson, they're all K Street whores! But, he forgot to include the Democrats in his comment.
