Operation Housecall
If you can’t make it to the Capitol Hill health care protest in Washington, D.C., on Thursday, there’s still plenty of work to be done from your own backyard.
Tea Party Patriots has a target phone/fax list for Operation Housecall.
Get busy!
***
For motivation:
The health care bill headed for a vote in the House this week costs $1.2 trillion or more over a decade, according to numerous Democratic officials and figures contained in an analysis by congressional budget experts, far higher than the $900 billion cited by President Barack Obama as a price tag for his reform plan.
While the Congressional Budget Office has put the cost of expanding coverage in the legislation at roughly $1 trillion, Democrats added billions more on higher spending for public health, a reinsurance program to hold down retiree health costs, payments for preventive services and more.
Many of the additions are designed to improve benefits or ease access to coverage in government programs. The officials who provided overall cost estimates did so on condition of anonymity, saying they were not authorized to discuss them.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has referred repeatedly to the bill’s net cost of $894 billion over a decade for coverage.

Mark Levin and Jon Voight will be on the Capitol Steps!
“We the People” will come knocking on Congress’ door noon hour, Thursday.
In another era, it was Paul Revere red flagging patriots with the immortal words, “The British are coming!”.
Until patriots arrive on Congress steps Thursday at noon, it’s “We the People are coming!” The courageous, Paul Revere like call to action is from bottom liner Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann, who wouldn’t let Democrats—who changed the locks on doors against the opposition—keep her from turning the tide on the countdown to Obamacare.
Waiting on the Congress steps will be radio talk-show giant, bestselling Liberty & Tyranny author and beloved American folk hero Mark Levin along with “Midnight Cowboy”, “Obama-is-the-false-prophet” crusader Jon Voight.
Being blacked out and bypassed by the mainstream media has only made Bachmann all the more determined to flood Congress with patriots.
Within mere hours of her rally call, the Tea Party Express together with the doctors of Take Back America and the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, the patriots of Tea Party Patriots Live and Resistnet vowed to “Stand together, speak from the heart and remind Washington we will stand together to protect this country.”
“For months we have all been working feverishly to make sure that government run health care legislation is not passed. We have done it all,” writes Amy Kremer of Tea Party Express.
“We’ve yelled.
“We’ve called.
“We’ve emailed.
“We’ve written.
“We’ve rallied.
“We’ve even marched on the Capitol.“Still our cries and concerns have not been heard.
“We have cried tears of despair and shouted in frustration, but still many are not listening.”
Michele Bachmann heard, and what started out as the lone voice of a single representative will be joined across the nation by patriots who could not make it to DC on the the notice allowed singing “God Bless America” across the fruited plains.

They don’t have my senator listed. Kay Hagan barely won in NC as a D during the presidential election.
She voted against the D’s for tobacco legislation earlier this year. Her next election is going to be during an off year so she won’t get the push she got this time from the national election.
People here don’t like amnesty, cap and trade, or 500B in Medicare cuts. Hagan will lose her seat if she votes for Pelosi and Reid’s legislation. She knows it more than anyone.
How the heck did they come up with that list of supposed “Blue Dog” Democrats? It doesn’t match any list I saw. I mean Dennis Kucinich is a Blue Dog?
These are the people you want organizing your protest?
And they don’t even have Rep. Shuler, who is the freaking Blue Dog Whip?
Is this a joke?
Dennis Kucinich a Blue Dog, nope but as a poster child for the looney left – he is perfect as a symbol
Not sure why their list is off. Here’s the official House list of Blue Dogs.
Kucinich might be targeted because he may be inclined to vote against it because it’s not radically-Left-Socialist enough.
Dexter – Good point.
OMG! Praise from Michelle!
Pinch me!
I’d accept that explanation if the rest of their list wasn’t so woefully off and that they specifically said they were listing the Blue Dogs.
Seriously, including the leadership and the first 10 alphabetically, they were missing 8 names. Including 3 of the 4 leadership positions.
Jim Webb of VA is always listed as a Blue Dog, except here.
or because it doesn’t include coverage for aliens. No not these kind. These kind.
Don’t give them ideas.
Good one, Chap!
Vulcans would need something for Pon Farr, afterall.

I tend to think that the dems would be inclined not to cover those aliens whose philosophy is based on strict logic and the restraint of all emotion.
John Voight!
I am definitely showing up. I am serious.
Don’t worry – they’re covered under Dennis’ family plan – at least until they are 21, 25 if full time students in any University in the Milky Way.
OK, Dexter gets personal praise from Michelle, Chap gets to see John Voight in person, and it’s raining in Hawaii. The world is coming to an end.

Yes wish I could be there. Have a great role for him in my next film.
Here’s the message I sent to my two Dem senators, Bennett and Udall, CO:
But is Pon Farr really a treatable medical condition? Isn’t it akin to puberty? And how should it be treated? Drugs? Surgery? And at what cost? These are the kinds of questions that need to be answered about this bill! We need this debate! The last thing we need is a horde of tumescent Vulcans roaming the streets, because Obamcare wasn’t properly fleshed out!
I think it would be awesome to make the CBO score such a provision.
I bet it could be put into the bill and no one would notice. Right along with set asides for Klingon Death Rituals.
Not like anyone is going to read it.
I thought of it more like menstruation. Cyclical bloating, water retention, blood fever, blind violence,…
Very similar.
Hmmm… looks like the Tea Party Patriots have revised their page to include a list on the side of the actual Blue Dogs. They still don’t include contact info for them and still HAVE the contact info for a bunch of non Blue Dogs, but they are making progress.
And you are helping!
You are definitely an asset to this website.
Dennis Kucinich a Blue Dog? Dennis Kucinich makes me wonder if “Chariots of the Gods” might be true.
Jim Webb of Virginia is more of a Music Box Democrat-he continuously changes, never staying still and if it wasn’t for that pole up his butt………..
Good Grief they list Scary Harry Mitchell (AZ-05) a Blue Dog? That Pink-o Leftist punk could be called a dog but he is an Obaminite whore at BEST and he was a punk as mayor of Tempe. Besides that he defeated my buddy JD Hayworth.
Jim “A Macaca Moment” Webb is as useless as Mark Warner for Virginia. Both tow the party line and walk in lock step with Dirty Harry Reid. All you hear from them are Democrat sound bites.
Blue Dogs? Why waste time with them? They are toothless curs that bark a lot. They’re going to fold like a lawn chair as soon as Obama, Reid and Pelosi lean on them. Once used, they’ll be thrown under the bus and will become dead dogs.
pelosi will neuter each of these blue dogs, so expect them to neither hunt nor fight, but lay about the porch until pelosi calls them to bark for their supper.
Now Chappy wants to be the arbiter of who is or is not a “Blue Dog?” He already chose the GOP presidential candidate and the GOP candidate in NY-23.
More proof that these leftists want to run everything.
Meet-up for Rally
Giant parking lot off rte 15 in Dillsburg PA 8:00am Thursday
we will carpool.
Hope to see you there,B
Look, Obama tried to wrap himself in the image of Reagan during the campaign. Any group that allows you to self-identify for membership should be taken with a grain of salt. After all, Dede Scozzafava and Newt claim to be Republicans and Newt even claims to be a conservative.
They normally list Webb as a Blue Dog because he talks like a man (rare for a Democrat) and owns guns (unheard of for a Democrat, they just hire guns). I don’t trust any dem, they’re all dems for pete’s sake.
I called Senator Evan Bayh just now and got a recording due to the “high volume of calls”. This is the second time I’ve made a call on health care this week…and I’ve never called my Senators before now! Time to give back power to the people!
This might explain why a subcommittee of the House Veterans Affairs Committee postponed a hearing scheduled for tomorrow on veterans health care.
It certainly would not look good to have veterans complaining of poor government run health care when socialists are trying to turn the private health care system into something worse.
Good letter Dex…I wonder if it will be ignored.
As for Constitutionality, the socialists will try get away with as much as they can because of their double standard.
If a massive law supported by leftists like this ends up in court, whatever is declared unconstitutional is carved out and they go back to the drawing boards to get around it.
If it’s a law that conservatives support, the entire law is thrown out as unconstitutional…the left refuses to allow any portion of it to stand.
