McDonnell who ran as a conservative won liberal Fairfax County with 51%. That has to be scary to Obama.

Why? TheOne did the same thing during his campaign. It all has an expiration date (or time) shortly after being sworn in.

I wonder why Michelle Malkin’s not mentioning that yesterday’s voters in NJ and VA actually approve of Obama’s job peformance.

Reality won’t sink in for a while. In fact, I’d expect more of a retrenchment and doubling-down, as the lesson that libs will no doubt draw is that their defeats yesterday simply mean that the electorate is to blame — and their efforts to turn your kids into “The New Soviet Man” must be redoubled.

But trust the kids to figure things out on their own. I recall in the run-up to the 1980 election passing a schoolyard and hearing several children singing to the “Oscar Meyer” tune:

“… ‘Cause Jimmy Carter has a way
Of screwing up the U-S-A!”

Somehow, I suspect the same treatment is coming for Hope-a-Dope, just as soon as somebody can come up with lyrics that rhyme with his name.

Actually for a real train wreck the Dems are providing a better and much more high profile show. They control the Presidency and Congress but due to massive infighting can’t even pass their own government healthcare takeover. Shoulda been a done deal on day one, they don’t need even one Republican vote to do it.

But it’s good that you feel the need to hang in conservative forums, RSS. It’s commmonplace for those thinking of “converting” to conservatism to do so – they just cannot help themselves. Very often such folks are also mugged by reality and then have their come-to-Jesus, Damascus conservative moment.
