Creepy Obama cult worship photos of the day

By Michelle Malkin  •  November 5, 2009 11:20 AM

Last night on Hannity, I discussed the latest batch of Obama education cult worship videos rounded up by John Nolte at Big Government.

I called for the separation of O-cult and state.

To underscore my point, take a look at the featured photos of the day at the White House website, which spotlight the president’s visit to a Wisconsin public school to peddle his latest massive increase in federal education spending:

That’s at least four kids in the classroom donning their Obama agitprop t-shirts and one kid with Obama carved into his head.

Alinsky-inspired, National Education Association-approved: “Agitate + Aggravate + Educate + Organize.”

Oh, and what was it that Obama’s old Chicago pal Bill Ayers said? Yeah: Education is “the motor-force of revolution.”

The founders fought a revolution over far less aggregious crimes perpetrated by Britain. We’ve got to have a Constitutional amendment for a balanced budget tying the size of the budget to GDP….. 15% max. let the “progressives” fight over the scraps after defense is settled.

This is a very important point. Tom Wolfe once stated that a religion is a cult that has acquired political power. Well, we all agree Obama has a cult following and he certainly has acquired political power. Makes one wonder if the difference between what we are observing and a true religion is only a matter of semantics. If Obama worship is arguably a religion, that is extremely bad news for the country that does need any more of it.

I am reading Ayn Rand’s Atlas Shrugged right now, and I read a portion last night that is appropriate to what is going on with regard to our children’s “public education.” It is about a young man who dies after he realizes too late what it means to live, after his short lifetime was spent living for the collective, and Hank Reardon’s (one of the story’s heroes) thought process afterwards:

“He thought of all the living species that train their young in the art of survival, the cats who teach their kittens to hunt, the birds who spend such strident effort on teaching their fledglings to fly–yet man, whose tool of survival is the mind, does not merely fail to teach a child to think, but devotes the child’s education to the purpose of destroying his brain, of convincing him that thought is futile and evil, before he has started to think”

“Men would shudder, he thought, if they saw a mother bird plucking the feathers from the wings of her young, then pushing him out of the nest to struggle for survival–yet that was what they did to their children.”

Armed with nothing but meaningless phrases, this boy had been thrown to fight for existence, he had hobbled and groped through a brief, doomed effort, he had screamed his indignant, bewildered protest–and perished in his first attempt to soar on his mangled wings.

So many of the children who are being told what to perceive and believe are doomed. They are released into “society” with nothing to keep themselves alive and moving forward. In fact, they are released as menaces to society–with no other conviction than that there’s a government in place whose sole purpose is to provide everything for them, and that they are perpetual victims who are incapable of surviving an moving on their own.

Yesterday, I listened on Rush Limbaugh’s program so many recordings of children at different schools singing praises to Barack Obama, and I wept for them, because these children are being prepared for poverty and utter dependence. They are being prepared to be good slaves for their masters in Washington, DC. They are not being trained to think and use their minds. Their minds are being emptied and filled with hope and faith in a failed system that will reduce them to being simple “constituents” and votes for a diabolical, tyrannical system.
