Steele also said that the money they gave Scozzafava was not spent on pro Scozzfava but was spent on anti Owens.

What? My head is spinning. He kinda blew it all off like no big deal. Thats when I said, he is not listening.

Heard Steele on a local talk show(larlarson) explain where the $800,000 from the RNC went in N.Y. dist. 23. He claims(claims I say) the RNC sent the money to run ads against Owens. The money was not sent directly to Dede Scuzyforafavor. Now I don't know what the standard policy or practice is for the distribution of such funds, but it does seem a little strange does it not, not to give the money directly to the candidate your party supports to use in ways they think is best for their area?

Carly Fiorina. Best chance to win in CA.

Woman, strong, smart, beautiful, successful, wealthy

Oh, that why. When rich people get bored with all that money and the high life, they go into politics to get power. Power is something interesting they can play with for a while.

Michael Steele bashing. Don’t be too harsh. Look at what the Democrats did for a leader. Howard Dean? Talk about a rump roast.

The hatred and vitriol spewing out of that guys mouth is an embarrassment to me and I am not a Democrat. How do regular Dems put up with that. I know they haven’t all gone maniacal.

I saw Michael’s disclaimer on the NY-23. He said he didn’t have anything to do with it. That 11 local yokels did that.

That led to my question which was “How can Republicans be chosen anywhere without the Republican Party Leadership involved?”

Are you sure they weren't involved? Wasn't it the leadership of the GOP/RNC/NRCC that decided to give Scuzzy thousands of dollars for her campaign?

I am not positive, but didn't Steele come from Newt's GoPAC?

Speaking of DRILL BABY DRILL, wasn't Newt jumping on that wagon as well? After many others had been saying it for some time?

Typical of a populist, but his timing always sucked.

Maybe you can't pick them but if you have zero input, you are not much of a leader, period.

The last 2 Repub leaders were weak. We need someone strong like.. Sarah! Or maybe Happyscrapper. Her Nome De Guerre tells me thats what we need.

That was dumped by the moderates as soon as Palin was. That too truly showed what the GOP elite thought of us little people, and having to pay high prices for gas.

MarcoPolo, “Free To Choose” is great book, I'm smart enough to know I'm not, that book helped understand a lot about the world of economics. The book is written in plain English, I could even understand it.

Just a thought...with a bit of malice. You know those little pieces of paper that are left over when you use a paper hole puncher? If you take a handful of them and stick them in the envelope when you mail your stuff back...well, I have been told that the machine can't quite handle it. And if its' people opening the envelopes, they will make a mess as they dump the envelope looking for your check.

Just a thought.

As we've said before - when the horse (elephant) has both lung and brain cancer, many of us think it not possible to save the life of the current one and have actively looked for another horse to ride.

People are only deluding themselves if they think all of this phone-calling and letter-writing is going to make any difference.

You know what would really get the Left to thinking? A sudden stone silence from the right, followed by major ammunition purchases, purchases of survival gear, and purchases of survival food.

You see, as long as Conservatives are whining, complaining, and writing, the Lefties know the Right is expending it’s energies on those activities. When it becomes obvious that the Right is preparing for a civil war and bloodshed, Then the Left will know it’s reached the “threshhold”.

Nothing else will get the message across. Americans have the RIGHT and DUTY to throw out a tyrannical government. Our founding fathers said so.
