If the black-and-yellow pro-illegal alien amnesty signs in the photos above and video below look familiar, they should. The Workers’ World Party-staffed ANSWER Coalition first used them during the 2006 nationwide illegal alien marches.
Well, they’re baaaack. And over the weekend, as the Obama administration gets ready to launch Night of the Living Amnesty II, the ANSWER goons were out in full force in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. — using their signs to bludgeon anti-illegal immigration activists trying to film the ANSWER/amnesty rally.

And I am concerned that unionized police, controlled by the state will not be impartial in their response to this violence. And we know who the MSM will blame for everything.
I suspect that the next 12 months will see a dramatic escalation of violence in America as conservatives are relentlessly attacked by “peaceniks” and union thugs. This is one reason I don’t take my kids to political events any longer.

I have had to use physical force to protect myself and my family in the past. And for the sake of a lot of people who have never been attacked I hope most of you never experience it.
I hope the political environment does not spiral out of control into street violence. And it would almost certainly spiral out of control very quickly.
I do not look forward to a nation wracked by street violence like Nazi Germany in the early 1930s or Russia between 1917 and 1921. Freedom is not strengthened by thuggery and street brawls. And I suspect the state will not deal with conservatives defending themselves with an even hand. I am not sure violence does not play into the hands of leftists.

In real life, after DECADES of “playing nice” the conservatives have lost control of the government, the judicial system, the presidency, the local governments, the schools, and everything else under the sun.

Go read just about any HuffPo thread. You will see that I am right. They are openly expressing their hopes that someone like yourself will do something like you suggest. I read a ten-page thread there yesterday, (about the MSM-erased story of the arrest of one Joseph Moshe), it was hard to read, because 9 out of ten comments said things like “Good. One less Rethuglikkkkan.” and the most common comment on ANY thread about ANY topic there, “Lock them all up. Every one of them. We have to lock them all up. They’re going to do something.” and uncountable variations on that theme.
You go and do that as a response. Then it’s open season on Conservatives, their end-goal. And they do have the majority of the police on their side, and the lawyers, and the judges, and the states, and the FBI, and the CIA, and the rest of the fed. So go and do that, give them what they want, and get ready for the pogrom.
Sound extreme? Wait a year and get back to me on that.

I agree with WE and the others who say pulling out a gun and shooting is a bad call. Their assertions about the way it would play out afterwards is correct. That reaction is disproportionate to the action. However, I would certainly agree to a good street brawl with them if they act aggressively toward me or my compatriots. Pepper spray is a good alternative if you don’t like getting your hands dirty. But putting a good *ss whooping on somebody can sure relieve a lot of pent up anger.

Oh well if the fun quotient were taken into consideration, with richly deserving, violent thugs like these, some baton work would provide the most satisfaction, but, we must curb our enthusiasm and use the least or most acceptable force needed to defend ourselves in a given situation, so using pepper spray on people determined to harm but not kill would seem appropriate.
Still, I’m sure there’s not likely to be any appreciation for any restraint of exuberance.

Sorry to inform you, but after 165 missions in North & South Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia, I have been shot at by everything from small arms (7.62MM to .50 cal automatic weapons) and 23, 37, 57, 85, and even 100MM AAA plus the occasional surface to air missile. I was doing so in a small, lightly armored aircraft flying at 100-120 knots some 3-6000 feet over ‘Indian country’ for 3-4 hours at a time. I sometimes ‘trolled’ to get a reaction and I also ‘dueled’ with guns to make them obvious to the guys dropping the bombs. During this time I managed my fear and kept my wits about me — had I not done so, I likely would have lost my life or cost the lives of those I was working with.
My point is the guys swinging the signs brought the violence, they better be ready to have violence brought against them “Live by the sword, die by the sword.”
Eventually they will start killing us.
Just keep protesting.

We need to make sure that any time we engage in any kind of counter protest in which violence might become necessary that we never START the violence, and we must make sure that there is videotaped evidence to prove it. NEVER EVER engage in counter protests without at least one, preferably several videocameras rolling from far enough away that they cannot be taken/smashed/etc.

I truly believe the left has no idea how angry conservatives in this country are. Maybe it’s denial, maybe they don’t want to know because given our way, it means major changes in the lives of liberals. I do not see a way around conflict. Liberals on the other hand, don’t want things to change, they believe their idea of morality trumps all others. There is no middle ground. I don’t see the animosity easing on either side.
