Hey, SixDegrees, we all know that. We're all raaaaacists for thinking open fundamentalist followers of the war cult pressing their religion on patients and co-workers is a bad sign.

Oops. And there I called the war cult a war cult. How bigoted of me.

After all, enlightened people all know Jesus and Muhammed were 'just the same,' just like all sacrificial lambs and mass murdering warlords.

<blockquote>"He signed his e-mails with “Praise Be to Allah." </blockquote>

And this, by itself, is reason for suspicion? Gosh, I bet your racist friends over at VDARE would agree.

Does saying "Goodbye" make a person a raving, murderous anti-abortion Christian, using the same sort of logic? Seems to me that anyone using such a parting needs to be watched, given that they're obviously predisposed to walk up to a doctor outside of church and blow his head off.

The level of open bigotry here has passed the hip-wader stage, and is well into snorkel territory.

<blockquote>According to ABC News, Hasan repeatedly pushed to have his own patients prosecuted for “war crimes.” </blockquote>If that is true, it stinks to high heaven. Hasan's behavior made it clear that he was against the wars and saw them as a fight against Islam. How could our military continue to subject troubled soldiers to that kind of harrassment as a "reward" for their service?

Can you imagine them allowing a Christian doctor to continue to practice if he pushed to have his patients who were Muslim soldiers prosecuted as terrorists. The first time he tried would be his last (even if he turned out to be right.)

Political Correctness has become so pervasive that many in the media were wishing that the Fort Hood shooter had not been Muslim -- like it was just an odd coincidence. It's as if they would have been overjoyed if the shooter had turned out to be Christian.

"<a href="http://neufneuf.blogspot.com/2009/11/why-did-it-have-to-be-muslim.html" rel="nofollow">Why did it have to be a Muslim?</a>" is the question they keep asking. These people are ignoring or even rewriting history, and if they continue down that path, we are doomed to repeat it -- over and over.

Osama bin Laden and Muslim fanatics have always banked on a weak-willed America to essentially fold against a determined Muslim population and ideology. They all can be thankful for such perfidy to western thought and such little willpower to defend against the jihad by politically correct cowards. There is no ideological war according to these liberal jerks, hence the criminal show trials of KSM and other terrorists that should be handled by military tribunals. I pray for the future victims and their families that will die because we have such miserable cowards in our midst.

I jsut got back from a Provider Resiliency training here at the military hospital I work at (it is mandatory for all hospital personel regardless of whether you work with patients or not). This training was planned about two months ago, but the point the trainer was making is that the Hassan deal was caused by a provider (Hassan) being too over stressed at work and snapping.
<blockquote>But hey, let’s not talk about his religious fundamentalism.</blockquote>

No, by all means, let's do. You know those Christians - we really need to do something about them. They believe in traditional marriage and the sanctity of life, and stuff. We're just this side of having the Pope in the White House! We must address the issues of Christian radicals.

Wait...you're talking about Islamic fundamentalism?

Ooops.

Never mind.

I sign many of my e-mails with tag lines honoring and praising my Lord, Jesus Christ. Just not in the workplace. If I signed them that way in the workplace, at least in any official communication, I'd be disciplined.
If he signed e-mails to friends with that tag line, that alone is not a red flag. However, it's in the context of all of his other problematic comments and actions that the tag line must be viewed.
The guy was a mass-murder waiting to happen, and it should have been obvious to everyone around him.
