quick comment.. the fact that holder had a huge increase in salary moving from the public sector to the private sector is a non issue…. why does Michelle dedicate over half of her post on this??

We should be placing the focus exclusively on the whole Chiquita/AUC scandal…. this is what requires immediate attention and should be investigated in full. If it is found that Holder supported this litigation in any manner he should be immediately removed from office.

Praise His Holy Name. Prostrate yourself before Him in adoration, obedience, love, devotion, and surrender. Accept Him as your Lord and Savior, and he will save you. I imagine the jurisprudence of the KSM trial to be in the hands of fellows much like these:

Apropos of nothing cut to oak-panelled robing chamber in the Old Bailey. Two Judges in full wigs and red robes enter.
First Judge (very camp) Oh, I’ve had such a morning in the High Court. I could stamp my little feet the way those QC’s carry on.
Second Judge (just as camp) Don’t I know it, love.
First Judge Objection here, objection there! And that nice policeman giving his evidence so well – beautiful speaking voice … well after a bit all I could do was bang my little gavel.
Second Judge You what, love?
First Judge I banged me gavel. I did me ‘silence in court’ bit. Ooh! If looks could kill that prosecuting counsel would be in for thirty years. How did your summing up go?
Second Judge Well, I was quite pleased actually. I was trying to do my butch voice, you know, ‘what the jury must understand’, and they loved it, you know. I could see that foreman eyeing me.
First Judge Really?
Second Judge Yes, cheeky devil.
First Judge Was he that tall man with that very big… ?
Second Judge No, just a minute – I must finish you know. Anyway, I finished up with ‘the actions of these vicious men is a violent stain on the community and the full penalty of the law is scarcely sufficient to deal with their ghastly crimes’, and I waggled my wig! Just ever so slightly, but it was a stunning effect.
First Judge Oh, I bet it was… like that super time I wore that striped robe in the Magistrates Court.
Second Judge Oh, aye.

I’m reprinting the relevant section from Culture of Corruption so you have it at your fingertips. All of this was known before Holder was confirmed as AG, which, as I’ve pointed out before, makes it all the more inexplicable that 19 Republican senators — Alexander (R-TN); Bennett (R-UT); Bond (R-MO); Chambliss (R-Ga); Collins (R-ME); Corker (R-TN); Graham (R-SC); Grassley (R-IA); Gregg (R-NH); Hatch (R-UT); Isakson (R-GA;) Kyl (R-AZ); Lugar (R-IN) McCain (R-AZ); Murkowski (R-AK); Sessions (R-AL); Snowe (R-ME); Specter (R-PA); and Voinovich (R-OH) — cast their votes for him. Now, they are reaping what they helped sow.

I realize that ExSpecter-ate was a Republican at the time of his vote, but labeling any of his votes in recent years as inexplicable doesn’t make sense to me.

The evidence that this is so is MM’s expose on Erik Holder. He has committed more crimes than Al Capone yet he is the Attorney General for the USA.
