9/11 families issue call to action
Remember what I said when Obama/Holder announced the 9/11 show trials:
If this White House thought Tea Party activists were an “angry mob,” wait until they see the backlash from 9/11 family members and their supporters nationwide.
Here you go, via Keep America Safe, TheBravest.com & 9/11 Families for a Safe & Secure America:
November 21, 2009
Dear Supporter,
Last Wednesday, a group of 9/11 family members and New York first responders attended the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing in which Attorney General Eric Holder testified about his decision to prosecute Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and the 9/11 co-conspirators in a New York City federal court. Mr. Holder stumbled through several tough and pointed questions about the dangers of giving war criminals the same rights as American citizens and blurring the mission of our war fighters. He was visibly unnerved by the presence of the families and the first responders. We want to keep the pressure on him, as well as President Obama, who we were shocked to learn was AWOL on this reckless decision.
Nearly two weeks ago we sent a letter signed by 300 family members to President Obama, AG Holder and Secretary of Defense Robert Gates. After Mr. Holder’s announcement last Friday, another 120,000 people (as of today) have signed the letter in support of our position. Many of these individuals are family members from all three attack sites, active & retired FDNY, PAPD & NYPD, first responders from throughout the country and active, reserve and retired members of the military.
We are holding a press conference on Tuesday, November 24, at noon in Battery Park, Clinton Castle for the 9/11 families and first responders/survivors. We chose to hold it on Thanksgiving Week in the hope that our fellow Americans will join us in sending our prayers and messages of thanks to our troops and first responders, who bear the brunt of the decisions made in Washington. At that time we will announce the details for a large rally in New York City on Saturday, December 5, at noon at a location to be announced at the press conference.
Going forward, we think it is important that the rally be tightly focused on the issues of keeping 9/11 war crimes trials out of civilian courts, keeping foreign terrorists off U.S. soil, and reversing the policy of returning to pre-9/11 days when the U.S. Government responded to deadly terrorist attacks with arrest warrants.
Please stay tuned as we release more information in the next few days.

When it comes time to put the Obama Administration on trial, let’s not be gauche. Let’s dispense with the flashiness and get straight to the verdicts.
I am indifferent as long as they are tried. I look forward to hearing what the families propose.
because you’re a typical liberal idiot.
Sorry zyzzyg, but none of the terrorists are being put on trial here. The intent is to put the Bush administration on trial, but they can’t do that directly so they are perpetrating this fraud.
You cannot seriously be indifferent to giving a multi-year propaganda coup to the terrorists!!
This administration consistently shows that it has no idea how to run a country and deal with world politics/foreign affairs. You can’t do things like you can in the city. They won’t admit a mistake or change a decision, so they continue to turn public opinion against them. It’s like a 21st century “Boss Tweed, running the USA.
Once again zyzzyg shows their utter lack of comprehending history. Do you not realize the detriment to the intelligence gathering capabilities after the 1993 WTC bombing trials in which we handed over to the lawyers of those terrorists documents that had been gathered by our intelligence officers? Not to mention the danger of our brave men and women on the battlefield who are now second guessing their actions when they capture terrorists. Do they read them their Miranda rights or not? If they do will it lead to them claiming that the reading of their rights proves that they are guranteed the protections of the constituion? If they don’t read them their rights will these terrorists walk? And on and on…
You go right ahead and stay indifferent with your head in the sand, but when the day comes and we are attacked again I don’t want to hear you even utter the thought of “what went wrong” because you and so many like you are too busy to be bothered with such trivial issues of whether some terroris gets a civilian or military trial.
Make that COMPLACENT.
The only reason to do this would be to give these terrorists a bully-pulpit to talk trash about the greatest nation ever to grace this world with its presence. Furthermore, these terrorists could have access to sensitive military information that they could relay to their accomplices in the WAR that THEY DECLARED ON US.
Their objective is military. So ought be their trial and their sentence. I will gladly volunteer for their firing squad.

Nitwits like BHO and Holder are the poster boys for WTFs wrong with affirmative action in America’s law schools.
If you thought mafia (if there were such a group) intimidation tainted witnesses and jury pools, you ain’t seen nothin’ yet. Al Quaida’s gonna make da mafioso thugs look like cream puffs when it comes to tainting a jury. If youse happens ta be in da jury pool, ya bettah get signed up for da witness protection program … PRONTO!
Capiche?
If you were a soldier risking your life getting shot at by terrorists, and you knew that if you captured them alive they would be put on trial and possibly endanger your loved ones at home, while wasting millions on legal fees, would you take the simple step of dispatching the terrorists in the field and avoid all those problems?
I wonder if the kill ratio will go up and the capture ratio will go down?
Just sayin’.
You obviously don’t know me, and are having a knee jerk reaction.
Yes, I want them tried. Do you? Yes, I am interested in what the families have to say. Are you?
I would not care if they were criminaly tried, militarily tried, or set free on the streets of New York and told they had a five minute head start to get back to Afghanistan, as long as they got what was coming to them. Yep, on how they get justice, I am indifferent.
I am surprised that more have not commited suicide, if you know what I mean. Though, like it or not we are better than that.
Terrorists are after ATTENTION. That is why they commit their acts in as dramatic and public a way as possible. What they DO NOT want is to rot in prison, away from the media spotlight, in Gitmo. What they DO want is a show trial with lots of media attention. So which option is in our favor and which in theirs? And why doesn’t Obama understand this, being so smart and all? We are in the middle of a war. What we needed was strength, but we got was weakness.
They’re not? Then why did the letter to supporters say, “. . . to prosecute Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and the 9/11 co-conspirators in a New York City federal court.” And, the Bush Administration wasn’t even mentioned in the letter. Did you even read the letter?
Do you want the terrorists dealt with? You might care how, I don’t, as long as they are dealt with. Youv’e manage to demonstrate your ability to read what was not said in the letter and speculate about what wasn’t written. Try doing the same with what I mean by ‘dealt with.’
Nope. I am indifferent as long as they are tried. I want them tried. Tried and convicted. Tried, convicted and executed. I don’t care how. What do you want to happen? Are you interested in what the families have to say? I am, and said so. You got a problem with that?
Propaganda coup? Do you really believe that they will have any effect on the families, on New Yorkers, or Americans? Do you really care what they say? I don’t. Do you think anything they say will change minds? You like to speculate, go ahead.
If you have an open mind on potential propaganda, then you have a problem.
Zyzzyg, it is obvious you come from a different culture, but in our culture recognizing something is propaganda does not mean you are falling for it. Usually it means the opposite.
When you look in the dictionary under “Doesn’t know what they’re talking about” – there’s a picture of zyzzyg.
Please don’t let zyzzyg highjack this link as this troll tends to do. Thanks.
Yeah, tell me about the intelligence handed over to the lawyers from the ’93 WTC bombings. Did any of that intelligence impact 9/11? Did any of that intelligence impact the USS Cole attack? And, knowing that intelligence may have been compromised, if it was, do you think we changed things up a little bit? Just asking about common sense.
The battlefield where the terrorists are captured can be defined as an exigent circumstance. Look it up. There are no doubt difficult circumstances, and my hope is that they will be overcome.
My head is not in the sand, and I am indifferent as long as they are tried. Do you want them tried? Civilian, military, or give them a revolver with one bullet. Yep, I am indifferent on the deneoument.
If anything goes wrong in the future, of course, I will ask what went wrong. But, I will not attribute it to putting them on trial. Even if they were tried in military tribunals, we can be attacked again. There is no linkage to the type of trial and being attacked again. The terrorist don’t need an excuse to attack us. Or, didn’t you know that? They don’t like us, and will attack regardless of what we do according to our laws.
While I don’t condone such behavior, a stray NYC bullet directed at Messier Sheikh Mohammed would be a perfect way to show liberals how much more dangerous a civilian trial can be for our Islamo-fascist friends, as compared to a Military venue.
It would also be fun to watch Olbermann futz with his ladies frames, his lower lip quivering, as he solemnly gazes at a wall clock to note the exact moment that the America hater dies on the slab.
Nope. I remain indifferent as long as the get tried. Don’t care much whether it is civilian or military or a revolver delivered to their cell with one bullet. I want justice.
Nope. You don’t get to spout off in trials. They can try, but the reality is you get shut down by objections and relevance.
AG Holder has said the intelligence is not crucial to making the case. We will see. The Germans have an issue, too. We will see. These are facts in evidence and are not to be dismissed.
OK. I am indifferent to how they are tried as long as they are tried. You got a problem with that?
I am partial to the guillotine, but firing squad would be acceptable, too.
Truly not even worth commenting on. I stand by my words.
Two sentences from my post and you freak out having a knee jerk reaction and want to change my words?
Try redacting the second sentence. Are you interested in what the families have to propose?
Could you just imagine fighting WWII this way? We’d all be speaking German and Japanese!!
What is obvious is that you do not understand the conditional statement. It is typically precedded by the word ‘if’ which I used.
@zyzzyg: “What the families have to propose” will have no bearing on the law, or on what’s right. They have no more standing than any other victims of heinous crimes to dictate the conditions under which the alleged perpetrators may be tried for those crimes.
Only people who hate America could even suggest that the American judicial system is not “up to” the job of resolving these cases. The despicable pussies on the Right who just want to cut to some firing squad resolution are clearly worried that a trial will bring to light circumstances or information that threaten their hermetically sealed world view… REAL Americans trust that Justice will, as always, be served.
Your feeble attempt at sophomoric humor aside, specificaly what is it that you believe I do not know what I am talking about?
My opinion is that I am indifferent as long as they are tried. Don’t you want them tried?
It is your perogative to attack the messenger. Now try deailing with the message. Do you want them tried? Yes, or no? Do you want them tried in a military tribunal? Fine by me, as long as the are tried. You got a problem with that?
REAL Americans realize that this trial is just a sham, and nothing more than a veiled attack on the Bush administration. REAL Americans know that this whole “trial” will be nothing more than a propaganda gift to the terrorist enemy.
The reason that the American judicial system isn’t up to this task is because it was an Act of War, not a crime. OneMonkeysUncle is proving to be another of Lenin’s “Useful Idiots”.
I agree. What the families have to propose has no bearing on the law. However, that does not eliminate my desire to know what they propose. I did not say their input had to be accepted and followed. They should be heard. That is all.
That is kind of harsh. Though I would gladly participate in a firing squad, it would be as the result of a trial. And, I would avoid assigning motive to people, they have been somewhat clear with their concerns. What is necessary is to somehow allay their concerns.
I am with you that our system is superior and can effectively handle the situation.
JHSII, bull. Crimes. Carried out by a small group. Inflate it all you want in your mind, but the truth of what happened is not really open to interpretation. Cheney may have called it a “war” to justify other objectives but that doesn’t MAKE it one.
OneMonkeysUncle – So I guess the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor was just a few planes accidentally dropping bombs and torpedoes in some unscheduled wargames too, huh?
I’m not the one inflating anything. I’m also not the one purposefully diminishing what happened to score some cheap political points at the cost of thousands of American lives. Thanks for playing though.
Too many lies, how much more unassuaged grief must be suffered to benefit liberal politics.
That’s big of you. You’ll ask what went wrong, but you’ve already ruled out one of the possible answers — that the type of trial may have attributed to the problem.
It’s like the Obama administration deciding ahead of time that Islam is a religion of peace so it’s not logical that a devout Muslim could become a violent terrorist. Then, when they intercept emails from Major Hasan to the enemy, it doesn’t concern them at all because he’s a devout Muslim. Surely he’s just seeking spiritual advice from an Al Qaeda Imam. So they reject a formal investigation into the emails that would have uncovered other evidence and allowed them to connect the dots and maybe prevent the terrorism at Fort Hood.
I suppose if a muslim manages to get past security at one of these trials in New York (maybe he’s even part of security) and then kills the judge or blows up the courthouse, you’ll claim it was just a random act of violence by someone who got a bad toothache and lost control. The religion and target of the attacker would just be an unlucky coincidence like it was at Fort Hood. It couldn’t have anything to do with the trial because you have already ruled out that possibility. So the fact that it was a well publicized civil trial in a known location rather than a military trial could not have played any role in the matter.
You can’t learn from a mistake if you never allow for the possibility that it could be a mistake in the first place. That’s why the left keeps making the same mistakes over and over. They will never admit them unless they can blame someone else, like Bush.
I can’t even believe this is up for discussion.. People in America need to go back & watch the footage from that day. The bodies falling to the ground to escape burning to death. The things that seeing live on TV literally gave me panic attacks for years after..
These pieces of human excrement in the Obama’s administration are spitting on the graves of those people, & they deserve to be in jail for treason & giving comfort to the enemy in a time of war.. Nothing in my life has ever made me more angry than this has. As I’ve said many times, if this circus trial comes to pass, there’s going to be some severe civil unrest, & this Administration will be rightly blamed for it.
You can gauge from the defensive ferocity of the local Obamabot trolls that they realize that this politically driven decision by this administration is one dumb-ass , boneheaded move.
The pirates long ago got it right. “DEAD MEN TELL NO TALES!” That is the lesson our brave men and women operating around the world need to take away from this upcoming fiasco. TAKE NO PRISONERS.
If you have to feed the trolls feed them to the alligators.
I hope the 9/11 families know the good citizens of Oklahoma City, the site of another major terrorist attack, stand side-by-side with them in this matter.
Even the alligators can’t stomach that much stupidity.
You shouldn’t feed them “junk food”. It’ll cause them tooth decay, indigestion, heart burn, and constipation.
BINGO!!!
Also, it is quite interesting how one of the socialist trolls starts denigrating folks on the right as “pussies”, and implies that they might not be “real” Americans.
Talk about projection…on steroids.
I have ruled nothing out. The terrorist will attack for no reason and for any reason. They don’t need an excuse. I am not going to stop living my life, voluntarily give up any of my freedoms, or dismiss the rightness and power of our system because of a bunch of knuckleheads.
bizarre-o Fox Sports suspended two announcers for “inappropriate commentary” re an iranian player during a game. There is NOTHING inappropriate about it, that I can see. anyone?
Secretary of Defense Robert Gates has become a tool, along with many others we could name. JMHO.
So you feel that it should be left to the families to decide how those responsible should be prosecuted? I thought it was up to the law and precedent (which is lacking in trying enemy combatants in civilian court).
Just another reason to execute war criminals and terrorists on the battlefield and not feed them for eons on the tax payer’s dime.
This farce is nothing about prosecuting terrorist killers, but all about prosecuting the Bush Administration. The only thing that will come out of this in the end is complete chaos and a heaping, steaming pile of more politically correct rules and petting Muslim extremists who desire to kill us.
When the books are written in the future, they will tell of America’s demise.

You got what you wanted Chuckles; a whole bunch of attention just for being an annoying little troll. So pack it in, stfu, and go crawl back under your rock little boy.
Good post.
But, sorry, had to fix one bit.
Careful, sbw999; don’t respond to certain posters, lest we receive an empty, 5,000-word essay in response.
Thanks for the fix granite.
Wonder if there’s a way to set up a troll filter on my browser
zyzz; you ignore they already pleaded guilty to the crime in a competent court to hear the case. just as holder reversed the guilty verdict of the black panther voter fraud workers, he is ignoring the guilty plea by these (_*_)s for a purely political reason. the only one i can think of is to punish the intelligence agencies, the military, and the bush administration for what it perceives as transgressions of CIVIL RIGHTS.
Good post.
Nuff said…that’s their core message. Bush is the collateral damage they hope for.
Another sign that 2010 will be an unforgettable year. Our one-party system elites have no idea what is headed their way.
It’s great being us.
No. I want to hear what they have to say. Just because they say it does not mean it has to be implemented. Or, that the law must do what the propose.
In court, though this is not court, there is a thing called an amicus brief. It is just additional information that may, or may not, be taken into consideration.
OK, but we call ourselves civilized, and reject such actions.
I disagree that this about the Bush Administration. I disagree that the out come will be as you suggest.
Such speculation is disturbing. The demise of America because of one trial? I don’t think so.
How on earth do you know what I want?
MM provided a subject and I gave my thoughts on it. Have you given your thoughts on what MM posted?
Who is a troll? Who stands by their word and who slinks out from the shadows of a bridge to take other posters to task?
I respect the families enough to want to hear what they have to propose, do you? I want the terrorists tried, do you?
Get a grip. Then again there isn’t much for you to hold on to under the bridge, other than your fear.
No, I am not ignoring anything. I am aware that a few of the terrorists wanted to plead guilty and wanted to be executed. I am not certain if this was done formaly in any court, civil or military.
As for the black panther thing my understanding is that there was no verdict because there was no trial. The decision was made not to go to trial. There is a difference.
I disagree with your assignment of motives to AG Holder, as to why he is pursuing the trial of the terrorists.
There have been three military convictions and several civilian convictions, and many have been set free from Gitmo. Nope. I am not ignoring anything.
Is AG Holder re-trying any of those cases? Nope.
Whew, zyzzyg is particularly windy today as he gives the terrorists a platform from which to score a propaganda victory. I wish zyzzyg gave the same amount of concern to the victims of the terrorists, or the rest of us…
Nah, never happen.

Among the many things one of my residents taught me during my internship was, “The longer your note is, the less likely someone is going to read it.”
It would be nice to have one of those!! I signed on to this thread and the first thing I see is a moronic post by a troll. It went downhill from there. I was hoping it would get better, but then another troll joined in (Monkeypiss). The do serve a purpose, however…they show how delusional and desperate the libs are and what we are dealing with. I think we are LONG PAST the possibility of civil debate with these strange creatures. Their ways are not American ways…they come from some galaxy far far away. Is there ANY way to comprehend where thier thought processes came from or what they mean? Perhaps it is time to stop debating them and just get on with what we have to do…get OUR country back!!
By the way, anyone who can’t see the horror of these “trials” being in NYC is pretty dim. Besides the whole thing being already tainted because the “defendants” weren’t mirandized, and the fact that the POTUS himself has said they are guilty, there is the issue of the entire arab world watching this fiasco and laughing at this administration’s stupidity.
Obama and Holder and the ACLU selected the Southern District of New York instead of Northern Va. or the military tribune for a specific reason: The left wing of the Democratic Pary wanted it there. As even the NY Times admitted, the Southern District of New York is a place that is least likely to result in the death penalty. No jury in that federaljurisdiction since 1953 has issued a death sentence. It will be impossible to find 12 people who will give the death penalty. Holder was well aware of the fact that virtually all the members of the jury will be registered Democrats and virtually all the prospective jurors are strong Obama supporters. The S.D.N.Y. is a place where there are no conservatives, and a handful of Republicans. Lawyers for businesses such a pharmaceutical companies, banks, manufacturers and insurance companies absolutely hate having to defend cases there. There is a tradition of being antibusiness, antidoctor, antihospital, and it is place that trial lawyers from the big ambulance chasing firms just love. In New York, there is an expression about getting “a Bronx Jury”. A “Bronx Jury” means that the jury hates police and will ignore evidence or jury instructions so that they can sock to the police. They do it all the time in so called 1983 lawsuits. And there is a good chance that in KSM’s trial, many of the jurors will come from the Bronx.
This is solely agenda driven. It appears to be nothing more than a misdirected administration flailing about in areas with no understanding or competence. Obama and his entourage are pathetic. They oscillate between embarrassing and dangerous.
O’Reilly had one of the sleezy defense lawyers on last night. I needed a shower after watching. That creep said his defendant had a right to be heard and tell “his side”. Other than that, he wouldn’t answer any of the questions other than by weasling out of them. Oh lord, it is hard to watch slimeballs like that and not get physically ill. There is absolutely NO DOUBT that this will be a trial of the Bush Administration, not justice for the victims of 9/11. I weep for my country and what it has come to.
There you have it folks.
OMU prefers tallywackers. Or ani.
Nope. I am not giving the terrorist anything. Our system is giving them a trial. They can have a military or civilian trial, as long as they are tried. Do you think they should be tried? Do you care which one?
Propaganda victory? Are you suggesting that can have one? On this I absolutely disagree.
Sure, I want to hear what the families have to say, and you think this demonstrates a lack of concern?
Spin all you want. I will continue to respond.
So, I’m guessing he couldn’t specify which ‘right’ nor explain how a non-citizen could have access to said ‘rights’, right?
Understandable, seeing how you believe in neither God or Country.
Sorry zyzzyg, but in giving the terrorists a trial – and not a military tribunal – you are giving them exactly what they want. A propaganda victory.
You’re the one who’s spinning. The terrorists are loving it.
Right!! And I wonder what rights the victims had? The right to LIFE, for one. They took away that basic right and of course, all their other rights went too. Too bad those rights have been forgotten in all of this.
By the way, is there any way to find ZY and REMOVE THE QUESTION MARK KEY FROM HIS KEYBOARD?? He is like an annoying gnat who buzzes around your head, is swatted away and keeps coming back.
HS: LOL!!
Don’t forget the affected Gary Cooper-type folksiness: the ever-present and innumerable Yeps and Nopes!
KNOW YOUR CARRY and CONCEAL LAWS. GET YOUR PERMIT.
Every American should know their laws and what they can do to defend themselves. If you don’t have a gun, get one. If you don’t know how to use it, learn.
You have the right to safety. You have the right to protect yourself and your family.
This was addressed in right4life’s comment # 846550.
Simple question. How would you know what I believe, or don’t believe?
Nope. I am getting what I want, a trial. I would gladly accept a military tribunal, or a civil trial. I am indifferent on which, as long as they are tried.
I am unwilling to accept that any propaganda they give will be victorious. Unless, of course, you are sympathetic to their views. Are you sympathetic to their views?
How would you know what the terrorist love? Are you in contact with them? Are the terrorist reading this blog, or are you sending them copies? Why are you advancing what the terrorists are saying? Are you part of their propaganda machinery?
Or, are you just speculating and projecting? Spinning in other words?
And, I responded to it in post #846569.
Please, people, stop feeding it. This is futile. Anyone who professes to not know what terrorists are all about is just plain dumb. I know, I have fed it too. No more. This has to stop somewhere.
and recaptured or killed on the battlefield…
zyzzyg = Eric Holder?
By “battlefield” I didn’t mean to imply that we are at war – I meant “rustic court of law”.
This is really all pretty simple. People on the left are closely related to Terrorists in their ideology. Take Gang Members for instance.. You know they all voted for Obama. If you try to leave a gang, they’ll kill you. Terrorist cells are just islamic gangs who are incapable of individual thought. Then you have the gang called the Democratic Party, also incapable of individual thought, thus the 60 votes they just got to move debate forward on an America dooming health care plan.
Eric Holder’s party, by giving a platform to terrorists, is just protecting his own kind. Pull the string on the ‘See & Say’, & repeat like a good little clone..
It’s like a big house of cards and it’s all collapsing.
He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Czars to harass our people and eat out their substance.
He has combined with others to subject us to a jurisdiction foreign to our constitution, and unacknowledged by our laws; giving his Assent to their Acts of pretended Legislation:
In every stage of these Oppressions We have Petitioned for Redress in the most humble terms: Our repeated Petitions have been answered only by repeated injury. A ‘Messiah’, whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people.
He has extended Constitutional protections intended for our citizens beyond our shores to foreigners who have murdered and are determined to continue murdering our citizens.
He has thoroughly rejected the concept of limited government. He has spent money that does not exist, borrowed money from foreign nations without our consent, seeks government control of our economy and wishes to impose taxes to afford free services to foreign invaders.
He has violated the principle of our very first Amendment within the Bill of Rights by attacking those brave journalists who dare to speak the truth to expose his fraudulent intentions and moribund leadership while affording comfort and solace to those journalists who submit to his will.
Many Americans are wondering why these terrorists are being treated as though they were citizens of this great country and, therefore, afforded the rights guaranteed under OUR Constitution. I believe they are non-uniformed, but still enemy combatants who are subject to the laws established in WWII are may be tried as enemy sympathizers and war criminals and summarily shot by a firing squad. They should have been killed years ago. A trial in NY is a sham.
He certainly can, after all he is an enlightened, left wing, Marxist.
And among them ESPECIALLY – our soldiers who bravely risked their lives for their country in order to capture these scum of the earth and stop them from hurting anyone.
God save us from Obama.
Un-friggin’-believable!
Embolden our enemies;
Abandon our friends;
Disparage our nation;
Prosecute those that keep us safe;
Can we survive this administration?
Another reason to TAKE NO PRISONERS!! If they are going to be arrested for hitting one of those slimebags, they may as well just kill them. I am serious. The punishment will probably be the same either way. And, by the way, who in their right mind is going to go into the military under this corrupt administration with a Kenyon usurper as CIC?? If we don’t have our military folks’ backs, we are totally screwed. Those are the people keeping us SAFE, remember?
I’m lost for words. I hate to suggest it but if I was in any special op unit and holding combatants I’d seriously consider arranging to ‘accidentally’ lose them – somewhere over the Atlantic.
No Corpus delicti.
This is true.
No.
I see the terrorist enabler went off on me again. Yawn.
If you want to see what will happen in the KSM trial, look at some other New York City verdicts. The most important is the 1986 trial of a cop killer named Larry Davis. His lawyer was the infamous Lynn Stewart. Stewart was allowed to put the NYPD on trial and she did an early version of the OJ Simpson defense. Just call the cops racist and tell the jury that if you side with the cops then you are not being cool in the community. Davis got off scot free and Stewart’s radical buddy William Kunstler did the same thing in the Al Nosair trial. Kunstler put the NYPD on trial and said the cops always lie. He portrayed Nosair as an innocent Muslim man who was being framed by white cops. And Nosair walked away from the murder rap scot free. A jury in New York City will be 100% registered Democrats. There will be no registered Republicans on the jury that will be seated for the KSM trial. Rest assured also that there will no engineers or military veterans on the jury. Almost all of the people on the NYC jury will be public employees with a smattering of people on social security disability or welfare. For a third trial that will mirror the KSM, look at the tax evasion trial of Al Sharpton. Sharpton got a jury of 100% registered Democrats, no police officers or law enforcement workers and no military veterans. Sharpton could not contest the evidence. He just argued for jury nullification.
You really need to get over yourself. This wasn’t a “crime” this was an act of war. If you want to comfort yourself with treating an act of war like a crime to insulate yourself from the reality of what the 9/11 families face then knock yourself out. The dispicable pussies on the Left want to create a kumbaya world where there are not differences, no hardships, just sameness. For both the 9/11 families and the terrorists.
How is any of this “justice” when you’re putting 9/11 families through pain? Recreating what happened that day like it’s some great footnote for these scumbags? Did you lose someone during 9/11? Do you know what it’s like? How painful it is to be reminded of it?
No, you don’t. I lost two college buddies but they have no “importance” because we’re giving more “importance” to these terrorists. Liberals tell themselves that it’s just to put 9/11 families through hell all over again and that we’re a wonderful society for putting these scumbags on trial when the only thing they deserve is a military tribunal, and a quick, ignominious death…. something that many people, trapped in the towers, never got.
You don’t get it. You DON’T care. As long as you can make the military and the Bush administration look BAD you can pat yourself on the back. I have a husband in the military who will BE affected by this. YOU don’t get that.
And you never will. Collaboraters like you can share the same firey pits of hell that awaits these bastards.
Bull. Are you in the intelligence community? Or the military? You didn’t like the war and you let your HATE for the Bush administration and all things conservative blind you to the realities that Saddam Hussein was a menace to his neighbors.
And what were those objectives? Hmmm… taking that Iraqi oil? Or getting rid of a menace? You know just about as much as the rest of this country. You can speculate all you want, and create your own delusional conspiracy theories, but in the end you know less than even the intellegence agencies know.
Deal with it. You’ve got just as much HATE for this country as the terrorists.
Man, emjem, you are just too easy…
(And for the record, you ignorant sack of crap, I lost a first cousin who was a firefighter and about a dozen friends in financial businesses, some close, some not so… So don’t tell ME I don’t know how it feels or what it means. And I STILL believe that American Justice can adequately accommodate the perpetrators of this violent crime – unlike you hypocritical right wing blowhards, with your Team America World Police attitudes.)
I see OMU still can’t think for himself. No surprise here.
Just remember, OMU, if you get what you want, you’ll be among the first to be beheaded.
“Accommodate” is a very ominous choice of words. Yes, it will “accommodate” them quite nicely, same way it accommodated Lynne Stewart. I’m sure they’ll find it very accommodating to have the ability to reveal our intelligence sources and propagandize to the faithful.
Remember Hillary Clinton screaming “How dare they call us unpatriotic!”
The facts do not lie, Hillary. You and your party continuously say and do the anti-American dance.
Rubbing wounds raw with salt by giving the terrorists a stage is extra dumb plus outrageous.
Look for the terrorists to use any and all news of the trial to foment more jihad.
While we ignore thugs in polling places for political reasons, firing IG’s that are getting too close to our political buddies, embracing the brutes whom also do not love their countries, but do love their power- you claim you are a patriot.
Your party does not love it’s country it loves it’s power and “showing the world” that you also are anti-American.
Your party does not love it’s constitution and it does not love the individuals freedom nor liberty.
These trials serve nobody but our enemies so why do you so want them?
In the Senate hearings- it was unified voice by you all- “Yes we need trials!”
Eric Holder,Barack Obama: This is not patriotism, if this is a love of a country it is only expressed by your outward hatred for our country. You are showing the world.
We see very clearly that the “citizen of the world” is not an ally of any country, and especially a country called America.
Kinda like the OJ trial – ON STEROIDS.
OneMonkeysUncle-
You liberals are always clamoring for ‘justice’ to be served and you also have a bias to despise our legal system in favor of ‘international’ law.
Okay then, I’ve found something that ought to satisfy you on BOTH of those counts! Yes, let’s give them a fair trial by international standards that have already been established and successfuly implemented in the past.
Let’s hear your problem with that…
Shoot them; under Rule .303
Exhibit A of why it’s a chore to try to reason with any hate-filled, anti-American liberal like OMU.
Man, OMU, it’s just too easy to point out your hypocrisy. It wasn’t a “crime” it was an act of war. It’s really too bad you can’t understand the difference. I’m sorry, but until you CONSULT the 9/11 families about how they feel about all this, your feelings (or mine) really don’t matter. You’d rather cuddle terrorists, hold their hands, and sing kumbaya while the country burns. All in the name of “showing” the world how magnanimous and “fair” our country is.
You have a misplaced sense of trust in our justice system. It’s overloaded as it is where criminals get more rights than the victims. When even members of the jury are ill-prepared or ill-educated to handle a trial that is part of their civic participation. Where money talks and psychos like OJ walk.
I STILL don’t think you know the true extent of the loss brought on by 9/11. Your ideology and devotion to PC truisms like “cuddle a terrorist, feel better about thyself” come first. And let me see if I got this right… the right wing blowhards have a Team America World Police attitude? Perhaps, you should consult your almighty Bubba Clinton in that regard. I think Somalia and Kosovo come to mind.
Yet again proving that America doesn’t come first only the goals of the Dem party (only second to the Repubs) to destroy this country until it’s no longer recognizeable. Good for you.
