Appollo didn’t even start until 20 years after WWII ended. There comes a time when you have to accept that Americans were actually involved, and that Werner Von Braun didn’t do it single-handed…

Which isn’t to say that JFK gets all the credit, either. I’m pretty sure it was Ike who got the ball rolling, and JFK inherited an already functioning space program.

Regardless, here’s something I’d like to remind the Conservatives here: I’d wear nothing before I’d were an RNC shirt. The days of the RNC being conservative are behind us, and REMAIN behind us.

Lindsay Graham, John McCain, etc. still run the party. Will they pay lip service to being Conservative? Of course. They’re politicians.

But, like Obama before them, their past actions clearly predict their future ones. We can no more trust the RNC than we can a tarantula.

Have to agree with you there. The moon landing and our entire space program came courtesy of some well captured German scientists, who gained their knowledge by developing WMDs to lay waste to the British Isles. Not to mention some “atmospheric” tests performed on German prisoners, and many other things that are just too unmentionable that were done in the name of science.

But then again, we have Tuskegee experiments under FDR’s Public Health Service, which started in 1932, and continued well after the adoption of the Nuremberg Code.

Wouldn’t be too proud of that history, Omu. The Democrat Party has consistently proven that they will be willing to end any freedom, harm any life, steal any property, and ignore every value in order to hold power.

I don’t consider Obama and his ilk “Democrats” they have pulled the wool over everyone’s eyes and especially the Democrats. One day they will see their mistake and hopefully it will be soon. Progressive is the modern term for communist. I want legislation that this will never happen again to our country. That all canidates are vetted thru the public.

Since the Southern Democrats blocked Johnson at every turn, without the Republicans, the Civil Rights Act wouldn’t have passed.

Personally I resent them taking credit for the moon landing. If JFK were alive today, he’d be too conservative to run for POTUS as a Republican much less a Dem.

Does your reader, Johnathan, really think the Republican Party is responsible for the Civil Rights Act? Does he really think the Republican Party is responsible for the fall of communism in Eastern Europe? Really? Because if that’s the best you can come up (incredibly questionable, vague connections to good things that would have happened with or without the existence of the GOP), then you really are clutching at straws.
