Race-hustling meltdown of the day
It’s a doozy. In NYC, City Councilman Charles Barron threw a hissy fit at a community college ground-breaking when he didn’t get a prize seat at the event podium.
He hijacked the celebration, jumped on stage, and launched a tirade against those who “disrespected” him. When a college trustee dared to challenge the unhinged Barron, he whipped out the race card and accused his critic of being an “ignorant racist” — a smear he repeated over and over again while everyone else in the room ducked and cringed.
Nation of cowards, indeed:
If Barron’s name is familiar, you probably remember his infamous threat to slap white people for his mental health, his criticism of black police officers as “House Negroes,” or his attacks on critics of thug Robert Mugabe as…RAAAACIST.

Gee, this sounds a lot like Kanye West’s temper tantrum at the recent MTV awards.

If you pick me, it’s because you want a black on your team. You picked me because I’m black and that’s racist. If you don’t pick me it’s you don’t want a black on your team. You didn’t pick I’m black and that’s racist.

In a fair and just world:
The NYT would assign a black writer to find out if Barron has ever hired a white, hispanic or asian for any position. Then continue to document the number of times he pulled the race card when he did not get his way.

Charles Baron, blatant, in-your-face racist, bigot, bully, and classless thug, was permitted, and enabled, in taking over the proceedings.
Great way to show people how to live.
He should have been dragged out of the proceedings without a moment’s hesitation.
I noticed he tried to go all Crips and Bloods hot shot black tough guy on the person who challenged him.
Too bad he did not have his ass handed to him for being so arrogant and for pretending to be a touch guy.
Isn’t there anyone there, aside from that one outspoken brave soul, who would challenge him, and would even knock him on his ass, and knock that arrogance out of Baron’s system?

You’re living in America, & you’re free! Free to work yourway into riches, or rags.. That’s as much reparation as anyone should ever ask for! Stop besmirching the wonderful work that Martin Luther did back when there was actually something to complain about! Instead, might start spending your energy taking care of those 70 percent black babies you are leaving behind in the hood without marrying their mother! Enough of this race card BS! Take care of your children, & keep them out of poverty through the teaching of the Lord Jesus who led you out of slavery!

Thanks orlandocajun.. On my statement about affirmative action, I should have worded it more clearly. What I meant was that in my mind anyway, when Barack Obama was elected, it proved that “affirmative action” is no longer needed (if it ever really was). It should be removed from the books, because if we continue to slant the playing field in the direction of minorities, we are actually enabling laziness & mediocre performance.. But I know you guys know all that, so I won’t go into that whole thing.. The bottom line is that its time for blacks to hold their own.. Oh, & get rid of that “Black Gospel Awards”.. Man is that a hypocritical concept..

This reminds me of something I saw in a copy of MAD Magazine decades ago: it was a feature based on “Then/Now” comparisons. One of them showed “then” as some angry white kids chasing a couple of black kids, and “now” as some angry black kids chasing a couple of white kids.
Seems like a fulfilled prophecy today. The point is, the end point of those who lash out at others for perceived bullying is to eventually become bullies themselves.
What pathetic irony it is to see so much racism on display: (1) the self-pitying black racist, crudely accusing others of racism; and (2) a bunch of white liberal types cowering and making up excuses for that behavior, thus revealing themselves to indeed be racists — only of the new, condescending kind instead of the old cracker variety.
You deal with bullies on the grade school playground with a punch to the nose. my school has a “Third-Word Orginization” whose mission is…”The Third World Organization exists to provide the community with opportunities to learn about and appreciate Third World cultures and issues.”
I see no part of actually, improving the lives of these people in that. Never seen them attempt it. They do hold “dances” with “rap music” and more Police and Security then larger events.

At SDSU, my freshman daughter was forced to attend a production as part of her humanities class.
The production was a series of vignettes which portrayed racism and oppression of whites Christians on every minority or ethnic group in America.
She called me after she attended to tell me she was so angry by the end she could barely stand by quietly. At the group discussion afterwards, no one would start the conversation so she did by saying that she was offended by the whole thing and felt like it was targeting her as a white Christian.
She said that she never did any of this and was not responsible for people who did. Forcing her to view this was designed to intimidate her and make her fell guilty just for being white.
She finished her statements by saying that whites have suffered some of these things merely because they were poor or uneducated and that simply being white did not mean that one had more opportunities or ability to achieve.
Some of the kids in the group were surprised by what she said and actually agreed with her, even some of the black and Hispanics. I was happy to hear that no one gave her a hard time about it, even if they disagreed. Maybe, there’s still hope.
Those white morons on the stage with that black loon… the liberal apologists and appeasers…are what has let the cancer spread until everyone is afraid and so brainwashed by political correctness that we are just turning the country over to them… spread the wealth…hail to the chief.

I can’t recall the number of arguments this non-traditional student had from 2007-2009 against various profs who attacked everything I believed in without any sort of balance.
