If you feel compelled to weigh in on his admission of “transgressions” and plea for privacy (shoulda thought about that before committing the transgressions against your beautiful wife/mother of your children, don’t you think, Tiger?), have at it.

Well. You can’t be one of the most famous celebrities in the world, carry on multiple affairs with fame-hungry women, cheat on your gorgeous, dedicated wife with whom you have had two gorgeous children (whom you have posed with for public photos), and expect to be left alone.
Are tabloids out of control? Sure. But Tiger needs to man up and stop whining about the press. Like it or not, his bad judgment is news.

As someone who has always been a HUGE Tiger Woods fan, I must say that I am no longer that. A fan yes, but not a HUGE fan. I used to ALWAYS root for him to win.
Why? Here is a man that has the utmost discipline when it comes to preparing himself for his sport. He also appeared to carry himself and act like a truly classy person off the golf course and elsewhere.
He obviously cultivated deception and was very good at it. Due to this I will root against him to win any more majors. Too bad he didn’t have the same discipline to keep his zipper closed and CHOSE to commit adultery.
I want a truly classy man to keep the title of most major championships won….Jack Nicklaus.

I meant I don’t have much to say about Mr. Woods’ situation. I couldn’t care less. I just don’t understand why anyone wouldn’t just stay single and do all the crap they’d like to do with as many consenting adults as they desire. Leave ‘wives’ & ‘kids’ out of the mud.
I think it’s pretty apparent that the marriage will have to dissolve. He’s obviously a “horn dog” with all the fame seekers stacking up, so the likelihood that he’ll change his ways is remote. I’m sure his Mom is probably going to slap him silly.

I’ve been one of his biggest fans, but this time I think she needs to take the money, and the kids and get out. With $300 million and her good looks, she won’t have a problem finding someone worthy of her.
Agreed! I grew up with Jack Nicklaus being my golf idol, and it was a real fight when Tiger came along, and became bigger than life with the skill he possessed. Combined with the well sculpted lifestyle he quickly became a new someone to root for. But overnight he changed all that.

Now it’s more important to me that Jack Nicklaus’ record remain intact.
Society is obviously more accepting of infidelity than it once was – it’s no longer the kiss of death to a career or to advertising endorsements. However, it still leaves a big stain (pun partially intended).
Whatever his other accomplishments, Bill Clinton will forever be remembered for Monica Lewinsky; and now Tiger Woods, despite being the best golfer in the world, will be remembered as a cheat.

Look I live in Las Vegas, but the small town down south, I come from is riddled just as bad as vegas with inifdelity.

The fact is many many people cheat. I have a cop friend, he nails some strange every week. He also sits two rows over from me in church. What are you gonna do. I pray for him. Thats it.

While we were still married, my ex-husband was explaining away the “trangressions” of a friend of his whom I just found out was cheating on his wife. He said, “It has nothing to do with love. It’s just sex. He still loves his wife.”
Then I found out my ex had his own “transgressions” which is why he is my “ex”.
Hopefully Elin learned something useful from all this – never use a niblick when you can use a brassie.
I’ve heard of stupid, but I’ve never seen it ’til I saw Tiger Woods and the multiple mistresses. Here he has a wife who is HAWT, with two beautiful children, and what does he do? Sleeps around and cheats on said HAWT wife with twelve (or is ti 13? Or 14?) women who cannot hold a candle to his own wife.
Message to Tiger Woods – If you’re going to cheat, at least make sure the woman is prettier than your own wife to begin with!!! Kinda’ reminds me of the woman that Shaniah Twain’s Husband chedated on her with: Mr. Twain’s mistress was hisdeous compared to shanaiah. Same can be said for all of Tiger’s mistresses in comparison to Elin Nordegren…..
