    That’s what Obama is doing. He’s taking the mess from Gitmo and dumping it into America’s living room. That is not cleaning up the mess, it is not making us safer, and it will not make our neighbors respect us more.

And if Holder decides to hold acquitted defendants indefinitely, there will be an outcry from the ACLU and other groups around the world that will make Gitmo look like a picnic. Any way you look at it, civil trials for these terrorists are a lose/lose proposition.

    I agree 100%. It was Obama who promised to “clean up the mess at Guantanamo.” When I spoke of him taking the “mess” at Gitmo and dumping it into America’s living room, I was refering to the terrorists themselves.     If they would have thought of this, Holder would have consulted more than a couple people with nothing to do with anything. He would have consulted Obama (which I believe he did anyway), he would have consulted DHS, the FBI, etc.
