As usual Democrats can’t logic their way through the most of simple issues. Even if abortion were a right, how does that mean other people should pay for it? Having a right to do something does not mean others must pay for you to exercise that right. By this logic the right to bear arms means the govt. should send a check to the buyer of a gun to guarantee “access” to guns for the poor. I’d like to see the Republicans propose that in congress just to see liberal heads exploding.
If a person aborts a baby, that’s okay, because the baby has no rights. Yet, if someone shoots the baby in the womb, all of a sudden, the baby has rights. Go figure.
Democrats scare me more: especially photos of Botoxed Pelosi in the wind tunnel of hope-n-change. Top that with Obama’s administration of socialists, czars, czarinas,and associates. Stir in wimpy Congress and bake for four years. A recipe in disaster for “racist” conservatives.
In 2001 I feared radical Islamic terrorists and rogue nations attacking our nation, but knew our President and military would protect us.
In 2009 I fear our rogue Congress and wimpy leaders whose diplomacy will embolden the “man-made-disasters-in-waiting” (aka “terrorists” to former administrations with spines) and frustrate our military who want to protect us. Otherwise, life is a mantra of peace and tranquility.
I laughed out loud when I heard senators say the healthcare bill would be dead in the senate…right…it will pass and you and I will be made to pay for it. Period!

Actually, there are a significant number of pro-abortion persons and groups that oppose fetal homicide laws because it threatens abortion.

The argument that, if there is no “safe, legal” way to get an abortion, women will resort to going to people who are not doctors or even trying to abort their own babies is not new. What’s interesting is that this isn’t about the legality of abortion or Roe V Wade; it’s about Federal funding.
Are there no rich far-leftists who would take it upon themselves to fund abortions clinics if they got nuthin’ from the gubmint? I doubt it.

Point taken: Hence the scare tactics (references to back-alley abortions) when gvt funding for abortion in a bill that hasn’t been finalized and passed yet is threatened.
What all the liberal fear-mongering about abortion is about is a simple concept: convenience.
One of the tell-tale signs of adulthood is the acceptance that sometimes you have to give up your own comfort, convenience, pleasure and even safety for the sake of others — most importantly, your family.
An arrested adolescent — a liberal, in other words — is more concerned with being able to avoid having to grow up than with learning how to deal with adult cares and concerns.
And what greater life-altering adult concern is there than realizing that there’s a baby on the way?
Consider the Caylee Anthony homicide investigation from a few months ago: after watching Greta Van Susteren beat that case into the ground over weeks and months, the upshot seemed to be, “Mom still wanted to party-hearty, and the kid got in the way.”
My moonbat sister of the 2 abortions was exactly the same way: when confronted with the prospect of having to give up the bars and the nightlife, she didn’t hesitate to exercise her “right to choose.”
Or as Hope-a-Dope so memorably put it, why should she have been “Punished with a baby?”(TM)
The only difference between Caylee Anthony’s mom and a liberal woman having an abortion of convenience is that the former offed her kid post-partum.
But remember, folks, this is a good thing. Check of proof: Just work your way through the equation –
1. Adult conservative women tending to accept the adult consequences of pregnancy, +
2. Arrested adolescent liberal women killing off their own young to avoid adulthood, =
3. Fewer future liberals, and more future conservatives. How is that not a good thing?
I say we should let the libs have their precious abortions – their own voluntary form of population control is preferable to having more of them around. Or as the saying goes, “Never interfere with the enemy when he’s in the process of destroying himself.”

As far as your argument that abortion is good as long as the only women aborting their babies are liberals while conservatives are willing to accept the responsibility, I’m afraid I can’t quite go there. A liberal having a baby does not necessarily guarantee a future liberal; look at David Horowitz.
Anyone who would dedicate their life to killing unborn children is f’d up in the head.
To expect other people to pay for it is beyond the pale.

Oh yes, there are multiple examples of that – I don’t remember her name now, but there was some gal here in Oregon years ago who shot her kids and killed all but one of them for much the same reason.
And while I like David Horowitz, pointing out the exception to the rule (there are always exceptions) doesn’t invalidate the rule.
