Culture of corruption: Cory Voorhis, Denver ICE & the Voorhis prosecution

Not a peep from the national mainstream media about the embarrassing withdrawal of US Attorney nominee Stephanie Villafuerte and the damning indictment of the Colorado Democrat machine.
As I said, the withdrawal still leaves many unanswered questions about Denver’s ICE bureau, the prosecution of ICE whistleblower Cory Voorhis, and the accountability of DHS — which Sen. Jeff Sessions raised last week with Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano.
Colorado blogger Ross Kaminsky delves into the case in a two-part series on the federal corruption and cover-up in the Voorhis cases.
Must-read posts here and here. As Ross concludes:
Every major ICE participant in the prosecution of Cory Voorhis has heavy ethical baggage; at least one was found (through an administrative process) to have committed a felony, and it appears he was not the only one – but none has been charged. Let’s not forget that these felonies and rule violations were committed to cover-up a series of terrible, politically-motivated decisions which resulted in Voorhis being charged with a misdemeanor, and unanimously acquitted by a jury. It’s time for one of our most important federal agencies to come clean…and clean house. It’s time for our justice system to dispense justice, both for Cory Voorhis and for those who succumbed to the pressure of the Colorado Democratic machine to ruin a good man’s life with their corruption and cover-ups.
Voorhis has a legal defense fund and website here.

Looks like the culture of corruption is getting worse and worse. Michelle, your next book will be as big as War and Peace, and much more readable.
I think the Democrat Party had become an insidious evil feeding on our freedoms. They must be held accountable.
You mean to actually go after the criminal element? Not.gunna.happen. With this administration, they would never have enough man power or resources. One can dream though.
The tree of liberty needs to be refreshed and then We The People can try them for their crimes!
The Democrats here in Colorado have done everything they could do to clone California. Then the spin starts, that Colorado Democrats are unique, that they’re independent, and just part of being quirky. Nope, they’re fascists just like the rest.
I look forward to the day when we see some of these traitors led away in cuffs. It will happen, but not nearly fast enough. When things start to unravel, it will be a very dangerous time. These people play for keeps and their mafia tactics are well-known.
We pray for the day of reckoning-should their coup fail-otherwise they will come for us.

This is what is known in Dem circles as “going to work every day.”
Less than a year to the 2010 elections.
If the GOP gains the House, and can start holding oversite hearings on ACORN, the DoJ, ICE, Holder, et ux, I think the Republic can still be saved without violence.
No doubt, Obama will still do grievous damage in his two years remaining, but the US as a representative democracy with something resembling a healthy free market economy can be saved.
If not, between a certain to be crooked census, amnesty, and more taxpayer subsidized ACORN vote fraud, Obama will establish a de facto one party state, and only his tender mercies will prevent this country from going down the road to Stalinist Russia or Mugabe’s Zimbabwe, and I wouldn’t count on that.
The Obama administration talent pool definitely needs a bit more chlorine.
She dropped out because to stay would have exposed the criminals to prosecution. Better to lose a gravy job than go to jail.
You’ll have better luck with a Pez dispenser!
I happen to have a Gloria Allred dispenser right here!
What happened to #14?
Michell, I’m so glad you moved here to Colorado! Keep spraying that disinfectant!
when there is no justice, anarchy or tyrany will be the law.
That’s the Big Mouth version right? With the Bitter Pez?
Speaking of injustice, what ever happened to Johnny Sutton? He should have been prosecuted for his lies in the border patrol case. I just hope this Wikipedia entry for him is not a hoax:
Well, it couldn’t have happened to a more deserving guy…
