SEIU shenanigans in Massachusetts

GOP Senate candidate Scott Brown is calling out the SEIU and Democrat rival Martha Coakley in Massachusetts for using state resources to campaign.
Coakley is the state Attorney General. Fox guarding the henhouse:
Republican Senate hopeful Scott Brown has filed a complaint with the State Ethics Commission after a report that a union backing rival Martha Coakley used state resources to urge workers to volunteer for Coakley’s campaign.
The report by FOX25 said the Service Employees International Union used state computers and e-mail addresses to direct state employees to volunteer for Coakley, the Democratic state attorney general.
It is illegal to use government computers for political campaigning.

We’ve seen this kind of collusion between the SEIU Purple Shirts and their Democrat water-carriers in office before — look at how the state of Illinois handed over the names and addresses of home health care providers to SEIU power grabbers.
We need more Scott Browns in public office who are willing to expose and fight the SEIU-Democrat complex.

In other related news, SEIU president Andy Stern makes a public show of fighting for the public option and skips out on a press event endorsing Reid’s Demcare package (whatever it is)…but as Karl in the Green Room notes:
There is a big difference between not fighting hard and formally opposing a bill. Moreover, opposing Reid’s bill is not opposing ObamaCare in general. It may be nothing more than trying to get the tax on “Cadillac” health plans pulled from the Senate bill, or in a House-Senate conference.
