Almost forgot the ice storms in the winter when everyone else gets snow. Last January we were without power for a week, and all the wires in our neighborhood are underground. It's pretty bad when the GRDA transmission lines get taken down by ice.

I've read whats here, passing through, I really have a hard time reading the boards now-a-days... and I read such things as surprise at Liebermann, that ignorance abounds in the younger voters (note: almost everyone is a "younger voter" to me... [grin]), and I am simply in amazement...

Why? Why are you surprised?

As for Liebermann -- (NB: I don't care if I'm mispelling his name...)
He's always operated this way. What has changed? His lips kiss you while the stilletto slips between the ribs... As most of our current cockroachs infesting both Houses do.

And King Cockroach... He's a "man on a mission". I don't care what anyone says, he's true to his beliefs. Just because his belief is enslavement fo all, it doesn't change that fact. And that is why he's getting what he wants. He really believes in the Evil that seeds his soul.

Honest disagreement is ok, but until we stop the LOTE-ing around, we'll keep sliding into enslavement.

It is good seeing The People rise up and fight this. I hope that we can change this by voting...

My aunt sent this to the RNC awhile back, maybe it helped..

Our party could turn the tables on Democrats who accuse Republicans of being the 'Party of NO!'.
Being a member of the 'Party of No!' should be worn as a badge of honor.

These are some of this administration's policies we say NO! to:

No to: Massive spending bills passed without debate, or even being read.
No to: Zero transparency or accountability on how the money is being spent.
No to: A huge expansion of nanny government without the consent of the governed.
No to: Our form of government being changed at warp speed into Socialism.
No to: The idiocy of not using American resources to meet America's energy needs.
No to: A Cap and Trade bill that will lower the standard of living of every American by onerous
taxes. (Except the opportunists who fabricated the scam and are now set
                  to reap billions from it)
No to: The destruction of our health system.
No to: Explosion of the national debt.
No to: Nationalization of private companies
No to: The destruction of wealth and redistribution of what's left.
No to: Policies which have resulted in an unemployment rate that hasn't topped out yet.
No to: The bailouts - banks, AIG, automakers, etc.

Republicans must be the 'PARTY OF NO' to stop the obscene power grab by this out of control government
or we will witness the end of the most successful form of government the world has ever known. It will
be replaced by a form of government in which power is restricted to a few. That is known as an oligarchy.

The simple phrase, the 'Party of NO!' should resonate with Republicans, Independents, and even some
Democrats who didn't realize what Obama meant by 'change.'

I agree with Alan Keyes who said that Obama’s support of leaving born alive infants to die shows that Obama’s conscience is seared

The fact that Obama could defeat Alan Keyes for Illinois senator when Keyes obviously won their televised debate on so many levels and is truly an African-American, really makes me fear for this country.

As futile as it may sound, 10 of us called Specter and Casey's offices in DC expressing our desire that they vote NO on socialized health-care. I will continue to call them and urge them to consider the will of their constituents, vote NO. I doubt these liberals will heed our requests but we must not falter in our counter-insurgency. We the People will be Victorious in the end.

Often overlooked is Obama percentage approvals are massively skewed by a “blind black bedrock” 90%+ race favoritism vote for him — no matter what issue. Be VERY interesting to see if it’s possible to filter this factor out and see the race-free “true” percentages of any poll!

Have you seen the Demographic notes on the Rasmussen Obama Approval Index?

Seventy-two percent (72%) of Democrats now offer their approval while 80% of Republicans disapprove. Among voters not affiliated with either major party, just 36% approve.

Seventy-seven percent (77%) of liberals approve while 76% of conservatives disapprove. The bad news for the President is that there are a lot more conservatives in the country than liberals. However, he gets a bit of a boost because 57% of moderate voters still offer their approval.

The President earns approval from 37% of White voters and 98% of African-American voters.

OK, so...

Overall, 44% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President's performance.

And...

Seventy-two percent (72%) of Democrats now offer their approval

And...

Seventy-seven percent (77%) of liberals approve

And...

The President earns approval from 37% of White voters and
98% of African-American voters.

So tell me, who is racist???

Don't tell me that 98% of "African-American" voters approve of President Obama because they are Democrats or because they are Liberals.

Democrats and Liberals only approve of Obama at the rate of 72% and 77%, respectively.

What accounts for that 98% approval from "African-American" voters? If it's not attributable to just political party and/or political ideology, what's left?

It's pretty obvious that that 98% approval is due to "African-American" voters judging Obama by the color of his skin.

So, I ask again, WHO'S RACIST???

I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.

-Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

I don't care about the color of Obama's skin. I have always disapproved of Obama because of the content of his character.

I agree with Alan Keyes who said that Obama's support of leaving born alive infants to die shows that Obama's conscience is seared.

(On repeated occasions, Obama opposed the Born Alive Infant Protection Act in Illinois).

OK, so…

Overall, 44% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President’s performance.

And…

Seventy-two percent (72%) of Democrats now offer their approval

And…

Seventy-seven percent (77%) of liberals approve

And…

The President earns approval from 37% of White voters and
98% of African-American voters.

So tell me, who is racist???

Don’t tell me that 98% of “African-American” voters approve of President Obama because they are Democrats or because they are Liberals.

Democrats and Liberals only approve of Obama at the rate of 72% and 77%, respectively.

What accounts for that 98% approval from “African-American” voters? If it’s not attributable to just political party and/or political ideology, what’s left?

It’s pretty obvious that that 98% approval is due to “African-American” voters judging Obama by the color of his skin.

So, I ask again, WHO’S RACIST???

I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.

-Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

I don’t care about the color of Obama’s skin. I have always disapproved of Obama because of the content of his character.

I agree with Alan Keyes who said that Obama’s support of leaving born alive infants to die shows that Obama’s conscience is seared.

(On repeated occasions, Obama opposed the Born Alive Infant Protection Act in Illinois).

Anybody but me wonder who makes up the “40%” (Rassmussen poll) that favor/supports the National Health Care bill being proposed?

Often overlooked is Obama percentage approvals are massively skewed by a "blind black bedrock" 90%+ race favoritism vote for him -- no matter what issue. Be VERY interesting to see if it's possible to filter this factor out and see the race-free "true" percentages of any poll!
